  • /watch?v=pVXQ0I2HDJ0&lr help me

  • I found it on internet and it has worked for me:

It is not pretty but it works.

    1) In My Computer, right click on the drive letter of your SD card and

    2) Eject it.

    3) Then pull the card out and stick it back in.

    4) Try to write to the card. If it works, GREAT! Proceed with your copying.

    5) If it DIDN'T work, repeat steps 1 through 4.

I have found that I sometimes have to try the process SEVERAL (6-8) times before I can write to the card.

  • i created the SDP but it didnt work what should i do

  • where i can create the folder?

  • im using win7

  • Thank you very much !!! Worked on me !

  • This doesn't work for me. I checked Write Protect and it's already set to 0. Any more suggestions. This was a perfectly good DVD-RW. All I did was reformat it and now it's Write Protected. How did that happen?

  • @likekinds If you don't have the option "StorageDevicePolicy", You have to create it.

    cd\

    reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" /t Reg_dword /v WriteProtect /f /d 1

Copy the above code to a text file and save it with .bat extension and then run it. It will create "StorageDevicePolicy". Then, you can continue with above process

  • @khavyAnything

    ????????

I do have StorageDevicePolicies! That's where the WriteProtect is that is already set to 0. Don't know how to make that any clearer.

  • LOL, i did those steps over and over again. And my SanDisk Cruzer refuses to let go of "write-protection"... retarded flash drive. I'm about to destroy it.

  • @Madcatization

After a bout with a bad virus, I couldn't format anything. I found a software called ' HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool'. Using it, I was able to format my write protected flash drives. Hope this helps.

  • wheres STORAGE DEVICE POLICES

  • @Fangblader7 If you don't have the option "StorageDevicePolicy", You have to create it.

    cd\

    reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" /t Reg_dword /v WriteProtect /f /d 1

Copy the above code to a text file and save it with .bat extension and then run it. It will create "StorageDevicePolicy". Then, you can continue with above process

  • @deltaA320 Thanks, man..i feel so stupid now... But, It´s fixed!!! :))))

  • Thanks it works.....

  • hahaha i found the answer! on your sd card/memory card there should be a small little switch on the left or irght side switch it the opposite way you have it when you put it in and you have it fixed :D lol i might of accidenlty put it that way when i was pushing it in and out xD

  • Doesn't work

  • i dont find sdp

  • good job, it helped me

  • I FIXED IT!! PEOPLE... people... people... Look on your flash drive / memory stick / thumb drive... whatever it is you have and check to see if there is a SWITCH!! seriously... i little switch that can be pushed forward, or backward... I think you accidentally pushed that switch and inadvertently write-protected your drive. That's what happened to me. I was brought here and this whole "Storage Device Policies" crap is just that...c r a p. I noticed the switch on mine by mistake and it worked

  • @rwdh199 This helped me, if your using a microsd Adapter theres a little grey switch you need to turn down or it says locked, pretty smart idea to stop people from formatting your cards.

  • @kennethsTutorials dude thanks a shit ton that really helped

  • Hello,I done everythink that you done there, but it does not work,my disk is unstill write protected...I've got an pro duo (sony) memory card

  • 1.Run Registry Editor (regedit).

2.Navigate to the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

3.Create a New Key named as StorageDevicePolicies.

4.Highlight StorageDevicePolicies, and then create a New DWORD (32-bit) Value named as WriteProtect.

5.Double click on WriteProtect, and set its value data to 1.
