The Kinks couldn't hold Eddie Van halen's or David Lee Roth's dick buddy. Eddie used this song to blow his wad all over their face with his guitar. This song seems to me to be a demo that never made it to production because it wasn't the right take...simply put. It's great to hear it though and THANK YOU For the post because this song has always fucking woke me up and gotten me ready to party..... Eddie was simply brilliant at this time

Comparing Eddie's guitar work to the guy in the Kinks is a joke. Listen to the guitar solo in the Kinks' studio version and it really is embarrassing.
