Thats right. The first Macintosh had 128 kbit, and the first iPod had RAM for 20 minutes of 192 kbit/s mp3, which equals about 28.8 MB. Id say its 32 (because of the software).
WOW AWESOME! I seen about 20 of these setting at a building empty to be exact and there was a sign that said Free I was so stupid to not get one of these then 2 days later i seen somebody stoping by to pick some up :( 1-2 years later there has not been anymore maybe sometime soon I will get me one off of ebay and if it stops working i will fix it or if i cant fix it i would still keep it btw does it still work for you?
I have a mac plus, finding a startup disk a real b***h, too bad I just got rid of my old performa and Mac II LC, the only things I had that I could write one on. All my friends are PC users (read squares as far as computers are concerned), so I'll have to ask the people at the local Mac reseller.
Cool. Although I thought that the Mac 128K couldn't run System 6.. wasn't System 4 the maximum?
I myself have a Macintosh SE with 15 1,4MB disks. (Here comes the "but") But, I can't use it, as both floppy disk drives (internal and external) are 800k drives.. and the HDD has been wiped out. I bought a SuperDrive, thought it was the external one, but nope, its the internal one. Have to put it in one day.. Pity..
I may be wrong about that. I just assumed it was 6. I purchased the Mac at a flea market, no system disk included. I guy I worked with some ten years ago was a Mac programmer. He said he could create a system disk for me, and he did. What is on that disk is beyond me. All I know is it works. Good luck with your SE. At my place of work in 1993 the SE was the first Mac I ever used. I kept inventory records on it.
I have that, but as I said, the hard drive had been wiped by the idiots at the flea market who thought that you could install Vista on everything. Even the G3 iMacs and PowerMacs.
omg SO GHETTO

Memories of the eighties. I remember that these were the only computers that the library had when I growing up.

It isn't the original system software. In this video, the disk is titled System 6, which I think came out in 1988.

This thing probably has less memory than the first apple iPod...

Didn't the SE also have the option that came with one floppy drive and an internal hard drive?
