I'd love Caroma only if they sold elongated toilets in Australia. It really annoys me because they manufacture them here, and then only export them overseas but not to the native country in which it is made.
IT SWOLLOWS ITS MEAL IN ONE GULP!!l.o.l. forget about american standards "golfball test" the caroma swollows "baseballs" IT MUST GULP DOWN ITS MEAL! it don't chew before it swollows.! forget about poop, some stupid kid in australia flushed a live PUPPY down one of these.. the dog survived the trip down the drain and it was rescued by a plumbing company & fire dept that spotted it with a ccd camera, the neighbors yard had to be destroyed to save him though as he was crying in the pipes !
We do have 4" waste pipes. And they are not syphonic toilets mostly, they are the same washdown flush. Many countries have washdown it's not "Technology" or anything new. They've been around for years and years. So no, not in the middle of syphon and washdown.
The 4 inch trapway is a nice idea but if you have kids I would rather have a 2 inch they try to flush things down all the time I would rather have a blocked toilet then have it get in the pipes and then have to rip out the floor or walls to cut the pipes to get it out would you want a baseball to go down your drain I know it would block the baffle in the setic tank then what? small trap will protect the system and once throw the trap you know it will make it out
It shouldn't be hard to figure out. You're just converting a 4 inch hole to a 2 inch hole. Placing would just need to be tested, but I doubt there is much of a market for such a thing.
well actually in Australia most home nowadays especially in metropolitan areas we have City sewage also in caroma toilets the trapway is smaller at the start and then gets bigger. so you can actually fit a baseball at the start of the trapway because it wont fit. but closer to the end of the trapway you can. so that causes things to flush easier and prevents blockages
this is toilet is great for those who shit baseballs.....

lol never thought of it that way

Hmmm almost sounds like an idea for an add-on. An adapter to put in the trap to shrink it if you have kids.

Funny thing... Caroma Toilets do block and clog
ScaniaK124EB 3 years ago
they do?
CiscoXfi 3 years ago
All toilets can block, depending on how much paper and what gets put down it, though washdowns are much less likely to block.
