All the lawyers could do was raise doubt that rachel committed suicide (which she obviously did not). And how can they believe he is innocent? This was a slam dunk murder conviction.

They didn't suck. They had no case. And believing that their client is innocent has nothing to do with it. If defense attorneys were required to believe that their clients are innocent, many if not most defendants would never be able to have an attorney. A defense attorney's job is to do the best they can to represent their client, whether or not they personally believe he or she is innocent or guilty.

Hog Wash! The prosecution's case was weak and the defense attorneys clearly SUCKED ASS at attacking prosecution and exploiting evidence the case.

The three principles that I gave, is how an attorney wins a case. Ask the most successful attorney that you know what the three most important principles are in winning a case. Not "Law", but winning a case.

If I had any thing to do about the case I'd order a retrial based on the fact that his attorneys were ineffective and unrepresentative.

If the reports in the news media are accurate, then this was a slam dunk murder conviction. Maybe you know more about it than me - did you attend the trial? Did you read the transcripts? Maybe you're right that the attorneys could have done more, but based on the news reports, it doesn't seem like there was much they could do. As for believing your client is innocent, that is irrelevant. Do you think that OJ's lawyers were so stupid to believe that he was innocent? They just did their job.
