I just lost mine after 14 years to cancer. They are the best breed ever! Mine grew up with 5 children and she was so loving and gentle. I'll miss her forever!!! Her name was "Gypsi Rose" ! Cancer seems to be common in rotties....

WOW. I hope when my Rotties eventually pass on I'll be able to share their lives like you shared Kera's. 10 years old is pretty old for a Rottie. Mine are only 1 ½ and 2. I've lost one dog already, a mutt, but no matter the breed, the feeling of loss is the same. My heart goes out to you and I hope more dogs end up in a home like yours. GREAT video.

I want one so badly, but the pain in loss is so incredible. I've been a pet owner for the majority of my life. There isn't a single animal that I want more than a Rott, but I know that I'd fall apart when he or she left me. They are such beautiful creatures. But I know me; when I have the land I'm certain that I'll have one to enhance my life.

That's a really touching video, probably moreso for me because I recently lost my eight year old female to bone cancer. I haven't had the heart to get another one because she could never be replaced. They really are a wonderful breed, it bothers me that they get a bad rap sometimes. I've never had a dog that craved social activity so much; she never met a stranger, it was always a friend she hadn't made yet. Here's to hoping they're all up there somewhere waiting for the day we meet again.
