  • @cgonz00cc k

  • I had to go to the doctor after hearing this song .it's sick it got me sick

  • This album is the shit

  • @momopup01 unlike Let the Dominoes Fall. which is just shit.

  • @MrSurfer562 This could be caused by multiple things:

The song playing is a Jamaican-style beat

    Jamaica is an island

    Your name includes "Surf"

  • @asd8886 this is very true my kind sir

  • first thing you learn is that you got to make it in this world alone

  • for some reason every time i hear this song it gets me pumped for surfing

  • I'm supposed to be doing algebra right now

    fuck that.

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • Song describes me minus the Cadillac. Hahaha.

  • love this song

  • My favorite parts when hetalks about clothes and explosives

  • oh man, this would be the funnest karaoke song ever!

  • Mark Coleman's Song!

  • My English teacher got me back into Rancid. Thanks haha, love this music again!

  • fucking love this song

  • I love this song and band. Wish this is the most popular music around... Most music sucks now!!

  • aww man this takes me back about six years to highschool

  • Should I spark this now or later...

    *Turns on Rancid*

    Now, definetly now

  • Should I start drinking this early?

That makes me think, Rancid should cover it's five oclock somewhere but totally remake it for ska punk

  • I'm tipping one back right now!

  • @rachbo1 haha 3 oclock? Way to be man, it's thirsty thursday!

  • @OsmosisDives osmosis is my favorite way to learn... ha! but i'm an awful diver.

  • 12 people apparently dont know what good music is when they hear it

  • love this song!! i'm currently learning how to play it :) ska is hard shit to learn tho

  • @Latvietis996 On the guitar? I think all punk rock in general is because its either really fast and down strokes,or upstrokes only like ska and the timing is hard to get right sometimes

  • @linkking455 Yeah the tricky part for most people is the upstrokes, because it's not natural for most people, the first song I learned on guitar was a ska song though, so four years later, it's the most natural damn thing in the world to me, ask me to do something like sweep pick however, I'd just be like hell nah, too hard, back to ska, Then proceed to play the Keasbey Nights album

  • definite ska roots, but rancid is fuckin punk

  • Black coat, white shoes, black hat, Cadillac....no pants??

  • They are Punk, only the "Out Come the Wolves" album was Ska Punk. And not exactly Ska Punk, I'd say "reggae influenced" better.

  • @MrSoft24 If you are going to put labels (although it seems you didn't start it), put the correct labels if possible. Rancid aren't Punk, they are Punk-Rock. And I'd say that most of their music is "Reggae influenced" as you say, with Out Come The Wolves as their most influenced album.

    :)

  • @razielblack13 Yes but they 're in your "punk" playlist ;-) Kapws to ksera oti htan ellinikh apanthsh :-p

  • @MrSoft24 :O Pantou yparxei enas Ellhnas telika! Nai, einai sthn "punk" playlist mou, giati misw tis kathgoriopoihseis, oso kai an xreiazontai sthn ka8hmerinh zwh. Opote e8esa to geniko eidos (xwris na ta vazw ola katw apo mia tampela) gia na exw grhgoroterh prosvash :D

  • @Whisperflow they both play it i have a rancid album with this song

  • I was wondering what are some good punk bands that are like rancid, or similar to them?

  • @jacobthesexybitch66

Cobra Skulls? If you're into ska, The Toasters and The Go Getters have the same frenetic style.

  • @jacobthesexybitch66 Maybe not identical to Rancid, but same era: Bad Religion, NOFX, Op Ivy, Suicide Machines, No Use For A Name, Good Riddance, Strung Out, Ten Foot Pole, Milencollin... Should be a good start

  • this song isnt bad really, but considering were tim armstrong came from, its kinda sad. Op Ivy were incredible, this isnt even close to them.

  • Oh Simon Cowell. I hope you hang your mediocre head in shame because this is real music fucker.

  • @ballpeenbaby COULDNT AGREE MORE! Xfactor. HA, This was long before that pile of wank existed.

  • @iyanasan2 fuck that, rancid's better

  • @iyanasan2 ..me too. overdue homework, to be specific

  • @iyanasan2 Rancid is much more important than homework - you spent your time well.

  • @firebird26288 Wtf are you compareing tim armstrong voice too riachu the pokemon? lol

  • ChilddHooodMemsMucch Saaaywhhaaa?!

  • it kind of sounds like riachu

  • fuck all SLAYER IS THE MOST EPIC BAND I DARE TO DENIED!!!!!!

  • @metalzombiebass I know about Black Sabbath. I also know that Slayer is the shit, but Pantera still beats them. Everything from Pantera beats Metallica on every aspect. Pantera is everything Metallica is and more. A lot more.

  • @warlockmetal1 how pantera can beat the evil?? no way man slayer will always pwn pantera, also yeah metallica is fuck up now but if wasnt for metallica, there will not be pantera or slayer we have to gave them some credit too :/

  • @metalzombiebass No one here is denying Metallicas influence on music, but Im sure Pantera is more influenced by Exhorder, Slayer, Judas Priest, KISS, and Van Halen-not so much Metallica.Pantera is better than Slayer because

    1) Phils vocals will always feel more diverse and aggressive than Toms.

    2) Pantera has 20x the diversity and musical variety that Slayer does. Slayer is pretty 1-sided. I can make ANYONE fall in love with at least 2 Pantera songs.

    3) Dimebags solos destroy Jeff and Kerrys.

  • @warlockmetal1 yeah right men no one can beat tom on vocals he have the most agressive voice on thrash metal genre

-anyone can fall in love with 2 songs of pantera but many ppl got mad with a whole album of slayer

-dude jerry and kings solo is what some ppl called "the perfect chaos" lick, you cant compare two diferents licks

  • @metalzombiebass listen to Phil's vocals on Pantera-"Suicide Note pt 2". Phil beats Araya on many levels. Tom is yelling. Phil is screaming. Theres a whole other level of agression that Phil brings.

    - your second point made no sense to me.

-Kerry/Jeffs solos are great, but ONLY for Slayer. They dont comprehend Dimebags style. Dime's solos have way more soul and, for lack of a better word: talent- and even Dime could write baddass "chaos" licks- listen to the solo on Pantera- "Goddamn Electric".

  • @warlockmetal1 you can show me 10 song of the best song of pantera but i can show you the 100 best song of slayer and they are all epic, you can tell pantera and pantera that but they dont have the experience and raw slayer, they still make ppl have the biggest mosh and yeah pantera have one great guitarrist but still they are not epic as slayer, also the second point im trying to say that yeah the first time you listen to pantera and they say "awsome song " but put slayer and they will say epic

  • @warlockmetal1 dude let stop before we say fuck you will ya e.e

  • @metalzombiebass Im not gonna get angry- Im actually enjoying this conversation. Your last comment, however, was just you repeating your opinion that Slayer is "epic" and Pantera is not. Slayer is not that epic. They are a bit 1 dimensional- as in no variety. Pantera has variety up your ass.Pantera has songs that can bring the agression better than Slayer, but also songs that are just plain masterpieces! Like Cemetary Gates or Domination. The SOLOS in those 2 songs are enough to make them superior

  • @warlockmetal1 ok you are right slayer is jsut epic because they represent all that thrash metal is:raw fast, dark, solos yeah kind of, but i dont think that band is good only because it has good solos, the band is good when it has good riff, lyric, solo, and that you can hear the bass (im a bass player so...) ok slayer is not so good as pantera, but megadeth kick their asses why?

-they have the best thrash metal guitarrist

    -their song have excleent lyric

-dave is the best he teach dime how to play

  • @metalzombiebass Where did you hear that Dime was taught by Dave?! Im sure thats false lol. I actually think Slayer is a LOT better than Megadeth, so if i think Pantera is better than Slayer, I think theyre better than Megadeth as well. I dont even find Megadeth that interesting. As far as lyrics- I think Pantera beats 'Deth & Slayer combined. Pantera's lyrics are true, dark, and full of hate, which complements their music! I dont think theres any thrash band that beats Pantera

  • @warlockmetal1 no no im sorry dude but you are close-minded

-pantera with more dark lyric than slayer??!!,plz slayer is pure evil

-you say so:slayer doesnt have the best solo and they are 1-sided,and megadeth have the best solo, they play a lot variety and their lyric are totally true, at least you listen their songs? ,you are telling the best song pantera right?, well let me tell you if i say the best song megadeth,i cant stop but i choose Holy wars....the punishment duo and this day we fight

  • @warlockmetal1 also dude there is alway a band that beat another band example:

megadeth>pantera>slayer>metallica>A7X>marily manson>pop and is infinited circle

  • @metalzombiebass I meant by Pantera being darker than Slayer that Pantera's lyrics deal with drugs and shit, like songs: Suicide Note 1, Hell's Wrath, 25 Years, and Use My Third Arm. Slayer just talks about killing and religion, which isnt on the same level as Pantera's genuine lyrics. Slayer is evil, Pantera is dark. 2 different things. I know for a fact Pantera can solo better than Megadeth-look up the Pantera "Floods solo live".

  • @warlockmetal1 yeah right personal problem vr the real evil, personal problem wins? lol!

and look up for holy wars, this day we fight, rattlehead, skull beneath the skin, return to hangar, hangar 18,that not even a fact is a LIE! pantera cant be better than megadeth thats a fact

  • @warlockmetal1 also i forgot this day we fight, washington is next, bite the hand,99 way to die and a lot more epicness

  • @warlockmetal1 also wake up dead i forgot....

  • @metalzombiebass Its not "personal problems", its more like Phil's own dark past (drugs, ect.)and his agression and hate towards a lot of things that make Pantera's lyrics a lot more genuine that Slayer, who just talks about killing and war. I feel that Slayer just narrates about crazy things. Pantera doesnt make their lyrics up. They are true and they are relevant. Look up The Great Southern Trendkill, Use my Third Arm, Mouth for War, 5 Minutes Alone, and Becoming.

  • @warlockmetal1 i beg to differ dude, marty's solos were more technical and it sounds a lot better than dime's but both bands are awesome.

  • @hugawandiay I dont know, Pantera could write solos that make you cry(Floods), and some that are just raw energy (Domination/The Great Southern Trendkill).

  • @warlockmetal1 you probably never heard of Tornado of Souls.

  • @hugawandiay The ending was quite alright. First part was nothing special. Still doesnt have shit on Domination- especially the live version of Dom'.

  • @warlockmetal1 dude you are saying that 1 guy personal problem is bigger and better than the worlds problem, is not "dark" is just personal problems that not even close to evil...also you cant denied, megadeth is better than pantera in solos, look for dialectic chaos, skull beneath the skin, sudden death(i know a GH song but dude that song kickass and it was made by them) name me all the songs you want, im just gonna name you better songs

  • @metalzombiebass Im saying Pantera's lyrics are better because they are true AND baddass. Slayer's lyrics are baddass too, but they arent real- in the sense that Slayer never did ANY of the shit they talked about. Anyone can write lyrics based off of "scary things", but it takes talent to write lyrics like Anselmo did.

And sorry, but I find Megadeth 100% boring. They arent agressive. They arent heavy.Pantera sounds like a fucking sledgehammer. Megadeth doesnt. Look up Primal Concrete Sledge live

  • @warlockmetal1 dude war is not real?, killing is not real? religion not real????...closeminded my pal

also megadeth not heavy??? plz you didnt hear the endgame album, killing is my bussiness..,count to extinction, egadeth have everything that pantera have and more...pantera is good there is no doubt about that, but megadeth is better admited men there is alway a band that is better than the other one

  • @metalzombiebass It is real, but SLAYER themselves have nothing to do with what they sing about- THAT'S what this is about. Any band can write a song about something crazy going on somewhere in the world, but it's another thing to write lyrics from YOURSELF, which is what Pantera does.

Im not closeminded, I have a WIDE selection in music. Im sorry I just dont think Megadeth is on Pantera's level. Pantera dominated the 90's. Pantera is 10x as agressive as Mega could ever be.

  • @warlockmetal1 and megadeth dominated the 80´s and yeah maybe more agressive but they will never be more faster and epic than megadeth, also slayer talk about the world same as megadeth, ppl dont care about one person, ppl care about the world that why they are better than pantera lyrics

  • @metalzombiebass But Slayers OR Megadeths lyrics are not hard to write. They are practicaly written for them. It takes more talent to come up with it on your own, like Pantera did. And no one listens to metal to hear about "the world" news or whats going on in it. People want to hear interesting things. And its not like Slayer talks about the world anyways. They talk about violence. And calling Megadeth "epic" is not a valid point. Speed doesnt make a band good, especialy if its nothing heavy.

  • @warlockmetal1 stll if got speed is great, agressive and speed are to necesary thing on metal some bands dont have that perfect balance for exmaple megadeth is mostly speed but many song are agressive too, dude i tell you again no one care about the life of 1 single person, ppl like to hear about everything, world violence, how religion is taking over, anarchy...they like to hear how the world is fuck up!, and dont say that megadeth is not heavy cos they pwn pantera with this day we fight lml!

  • @metalzombiebass Actually, no. If I wanted news on the war in Iraq or about how the church is doing, I would go to CBS news, not Slayer or Megadeth. And Pantera doesnt sing about the life of someone, it covers topics like police brutality, trends/mainstream, drugs, death, anger, and they even sing about the metal genre in general, so stop saying Pantera is about 1 guys life. Pantera- I'll Cast a Shadow is heavier than this day we fight.

  • @warlockmetal1 is the truth men you dont want to open your eyes, yeah right there is no pantera song that is more fast and heavy than this day we fight especially when is combined with dialectic chaos that a fucking big bang, also im not saying they inform what going, they critizes the goberment, church and industry that after many year sorprise they still comanding the world!

  • @metalzombiebass Pantera- "Strength Beyond Strength" beats This Day We Fight.

....And Pantera criticizes govt, church, and the industry too, just like Megadeth.

  • @warlockmetal1 but megadeth is like profets, they are the master talking about apocalypse men, yeah i heard the song pretty good one, but still megadeth beats pantera with the solos X), also yeah i have to give credits to pantera to revolutionize the thrash, but still the creators(i mean the big four) beat them

  • @metalzombiebass Well ok. You have your favorite bands, I have mine. We arent going to ever convince each other to like one band over the other, so lets just agree to disagree. Both Pantera and the Big 4 are all great bands, so it doesnt really matter who we like better. Its all great music in the end.

  • @warlockmetal1 well i try to told you that at begining but you say nah keep going, but yeah is ok for me.....headbang to motorhead? watch?v=VHWsjLRfeHI

  • @metalzombiebass Yeah that song was pretty baddass. Motorhead is pretty cool

  • @warlockmetal1 ok my reason are to dummie :P that because i dont speak english very well, but you can ask anyone who is better in music megadeth or pantera they will answer "MEGADETH FUCKING ROCKS MEN!"

  • shut the fuck up you lot and act like adults, just enjoy the fucking song, pricks.lol

  • @davidcooperful lol No one's arguing, were just comparing bands here. Run along now.

  • Metallica with Hetfield,Ulrich,Mustaine and Burton would kill any band, hands down.

  • @stations44 Metallica in any way, shape, or form can even comprehend Pantera's agressiveness and heaviness haha. Dime beats Dave, and Phil EMBARRASSES James. Phil can sing any Metallica song no problem, but James cant sing a single song off of Far Beyond Driven. Pantera > Metallica hands down. Any metal fan will tell you!

  • motorhead is better i dare you to denied!

  • @metalzombiebass Pantera is better than Motorhead, I dare you to say otherwise. Hail Dimebag Darrell.

  • @warlockmetal1 ....black sabbath is better than pantera i dare you to denied!

  • @metalzombiebass Nope. I dont listen to doom metal. I listen to aggressive, fast, heavy metal- Pantera.

  • @warlockmetal1 metallica from kill em all to ride the lighting is the best i dare you to denied!

  • @warlockmetal1 Metallica is way better i dare you to contradict that. hail James hetfield

  • @XXxReDruMxXX909 Haha, son, Metallica aint even heavy. Come back to me with some heavy fucking metal, like Pantera, that isnt watered down then we'll talk. Hail Philip Anselmo. His vocals make James cry like little girl. And Dimebag Darrell writes better riffs AND solos than James and Kirk 10fold. Pantera got more raw and dominated the metal scene while Metallica was selling out and conforming to mainstream music. So yes, I contradict ha!

  • @warlockmetal1 also black sabbath created the heavy metal but ppl start called doom metal...just saying

  • @warlockmetal1 how bout meshuggah

  • @XXxReDruMxXX909 I dont listen to Meshuggah, but Ive heard enough to know that Im 90% sure theyve taken influences from Pantera. I dont find a lot of substance in Meshuggah, but I do in bands like Pantera, Alice in Chains, and Down. Im sure Meshuggah writes some kickass shit, but I dont think they compare to Pantera.

  • @warlockmetal1 anyways, its all about slayer.. you cant go wrong with them

  • @XXxReDruMxXX909 I love Slayer too, but if you read my next comment to metalmasszombie, you'll see why Pantera will always be better than Slayer...

  • @metalzombiebass Dir En Grey. QED.

Can't be denied. but failing that, fall back to Sargent D and the Stormtroopers of Death.

but if you would rather listen to Pantera or Metallica, why the hell are you here listening to Rancid?

  • @4Dark2Star0 cos i like punk too and also SLAYER AND MEGADETH BEAT THE SHIT UP epic win lol!

  • this is so pussy. why do these kids dress up all hardcore and act hardcore. this is so lame. this entire scene was a failure. bunch of elitist kids even gayer than the current angsty subculture kids (hipsters, sxenes, emos, juggalos especially, all rap subcultures, all "if you're one of the 6% of kids who listen to metal post this hurr durr im a metal head"-retards,) You're all a bunch of fags go play dress up. this does not apply to people who aren't said posers, you guys just like shit music

  • @SmegmaPartay haha. You're goofy.

  • @SmegmaPartay You have no idea what you just said.

  • @SmegmaPartay You yourself is ironic, video game retard.

  • Comment removed

  • @hugawandiay yeah i know i pissed you off because i'm giving up the unspoken superficiality of your faggoty attention whore social scene, but i don't even like video games i'm someone who is actually not afraid to be themselves. why dont you go have a dick measuring contest with your scene buddies to see who has more nautical star tattoos.

  • @SmegmaPartay Why do you keep calling Rancid "scene"? You have no fucking clue what the hell you're talking about. This is fucking punk, not scene. If youre gonna complain about scene, go to some fucking Black Veil Brides video, dipshit...

  • @warlockmetal1 because scene is just the modern descendant of the same types of nonconformist superficial countercultures. same shit as hipsters, it's just how you choose your method of being a sellout. maybe rancid aren't sellouts, just all the kids who play dress up and follow those sterotypical paths of subculture. for example.....TRVE CVLT BLACK METAL kids are a huge offender here. and that's my favorite type of music, i'm just calling it like it is.

  • @SmegmaPartay I'm all to familiar with black metal try-hards.Theres posers and trendies in every genre. Why bother wasting your time trying to "purify" the genre? Theres a difference between being a "sellout" and simply being part of a subculture, but you seem to think both are a the same. I have no problem with someone supporting of the black metal subculture, as long as they enjoy the music and understand what the culture is about, not just trendhopping. That goes for any genre.

  • @SmegmaPartay LOL what? social scene? Aren't you and your gay friends the founders of the scene that you're talking about. Lies, you're bitter because your WoW video got deleted. Hahaha! Irony again with that dick measuring thing! And did you understand what you're typing? You even believe in the 2012 phenomenon, who's the fag now?

  • Fun with Dick and Jane. (or Fun with Janes Dick)

  • 0:00 NCE AGAIN

  • :D Ahahah! Omar Fantini <3 !!

  • FUCK YEAH
