i was so looking forward to the new maxima, as i have loved them since their inception, excluding the early 90's to early 2000's, 04 was when i loved again! this new one loses me on the front end, gains on the rear haunhes, but, sadly loses again on the rear end...too bad, i was expecting so much more. maybe it'll grow on me, but, 'til then, i'll be happy with my 04, still kicks ass, and looks good from behind as i leave the competition in the dust! lol! still can beat most suedo sport sedans

Nissan still hasn't gotten it right. The last nice looking Maxima were the '02, '03 models (5.5 gen). I used to own one, and I won't come back anytime soon after seeing this car. The front looks as though it belongs on another car. Just UGLY...Get it together Carlos. Good thing Infiniti and the new GTR are keeping things together for now

Horrid! HORRID! Hideous! JUST HIDEOUS! That is the most disturbing collection of sheet metal I have seen since the Pontiac Aztec. Sorry, but this car is about 10 years off in styling. Will Nissan ever catch up?

I do know because of flops like this they were about to be shut down just a few years ago! It does not matter how long that had this design, the fact is the new Jag, the new MB C class, the new BMW 3, hell even the new Pontiac G8, all have a better desing and is a better value for the same type car segement

More like "dayum" I thought the one I had was ugly. Or, "dayum" I'll have to face the embarrasment of driving my current Maxima into Toyota or Honda, hell even Pontiac for a new car, instead of Nissan.
