You DO NOT need to have the Medal of Honor disc in your Xbox to play the beta. I've been playing the early beta the past couple of days and haven't needed to insert the disc. All I had to do was download the beta from Xbox Marketplace with my emailed code and register on Battlelog using my EA Origin account.
