  • how the fuck is this an alternative ending??.

  • The movie should have ended with the three of those computer nerds having a threesome on top of the building in broad daylight because that's what rich people do yeah.

  • @vancedev nah that form of menage a trois with 2 guys and a hairy bitch is for the frenchies man!..here in the states we do it with 2 chicks and one lucky "dude" lol

  • Comment removed

  • Hey! Go back and finish those games!

  • ...And then they all died. End of story.

  • @TheAgwoodliffe that would be "End of Line." lol.

  • 0:35 to 0:57 was funny beacuse it made no sense. The mcp shot a laser at Flynn just to warn him not to hack into the system and then the got deleted for no reason. It was like a youtube poop.

  • @MbotZone1993 Dude, he timeskipped everything between being sucked into the computer and being un-digitzed at the end of the movie.

  • You guys, THERE IS going to be a sequel. Disney is trying to be all sneaky by saying, "Well, if there IS a sequel..." and stuff like that. We all know it's going to happen, and we all want it to.

  • This made no sence what so ever.

  • Remember in legacy when Tron or "Rinzler" as he calls himself, when CLU kicks Tron/Rinzler into the water of the grid, Tron/rinzler's suits light shut off, then comes back on to that white light colour, so I'm guessing Rinzler/Tron lives from that part, and hes coming back to fight for the users, but I don\t really know if Flnn lives, because Quarra said that Kevin could destrey CLU, but it would also bring destruction to himself too. so Keving dies, or destroys himself to save his son from clu.

  • @slayer300012 Well, Flynn was backed up on his identity disk, which his son now has a copy of. I can't see why he couldn't duplicate his father in the virtual world and bring that copy back to the real world now that it's been established that things from the grid can cross over.

  • Hah, this is the movie in real time.

  • your editing is just what I thought of the movie the whole time they were in there. "Man I've created about 500 000 tron movies during the lenght of watching it on my comp"

  • @RandomAccessMemory63 lol! that's a given but so long as were at it lets face it even wen there is a dead body produced they still some how manage to make dramatic come backs such is the power of hollywood

  • every one seems to fail to notice sam had his dads disk. Kevin did die in the reintegration proses sorry people that's that. But a copy lives on that disk and it knows everything right up until the last secant of that ordeal and I don't mean a copy like clue i mean a one to one copy of Kevin flyn. 10$ says Kevin even sees the real world in the next movie

  • LOL don't be fooled by this.....Flynn actually is responsible for this to let you guys know he still exist........Tron 3 in the making ?

  • That Is CRAZY!

  • THE GAME HAS CHANGED!!

  • @davyszabo <---the uploader of this bullshit video.

    ALTERNATE ENDING, MY ASS!!!

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS AN ALTERNATE ENDING?? THIS IS THE EXACT SAME ENDING IN THE ORIGINAL 80'S MOVIE, FUCKTARD!!

VIDEO FLAGGED FOR "MISLEADING TEXT" YOU DUMBASS VIEW WHORE. 2 MORE STRIKES AND YOU'RE BANNED FROM YOUTUBE.

  • Wait, Is it just me or is this the same ending?

  • @bluecomputer40

No it's not you, there is no alternate ending.

The only thing removed from the movie was the love scene.

  • LOL! Kevin got shot from behind and he was like, "Wait, WTF just happened?" xD

  • tron really makes no sense at all.

  • nice editing

  • Damn! I'm having a déjà vu! Must be a glitch in the matrix or something, but this ending is in no way alternative!

  • same ending in the original movie

  • ahaha nice work

Also, remember that Kevin Flynn derezzed in the first movie, so he is not dead after the end of Legacy. He is a user, no worries.

Also; more sequels are planned, and a ten episode animated series is coming to Disney Channel in 2012.

TRON is back to stay guys....

  • @Trendkillertrendy actually, Kevin didn't derezz in either movie. In the first film, the de-resolution of the MCP caused him to rerezz into the User World because the MCP was basically inside a powerful IO tower for all intents and purposes. In the second film, he Reintegrated with CLU. It's a different process that Quorra was should kill Flynn.

  • @Trendkillertrendy uhh flynn didnt derez in the first movie, only CLU from the first movie, who has flynns likeness, was derezzed, flynn was ejected from the grid at the end after the MCP was deleted. secondly he IS dead in legacy cause the explosion obliterated him and everything near the portal, only the portal itself remained. so he is gone now, and even IF he is alive, sam downloaded the grid onto a flash drive and shut down the mainframe, permanently isolating the grid from humanity.

  • @xorcyst420 Sam actually made a COPY of The Grid....

  • @HaKedCalls yea but he also unpligged the main grid so the "copy" he has is the only one

  • @Trendkillertrendy FLYNN LIVES!

  • @Trendkillertrendy if u hadnt noticed, reintegration is different than de-rezolution

  • @Trendkillertrendy Yeah I read about that on wikipedia, I can't wait for the sequel.

  • @Trendkillertrendy sorry dude not to be a pain. could you describe to me how Kevin is still alive for future sequels. and what was the big deal about the girl making it out of the grid in the second film? just seemed like a big jump from the first and you seem to know what was going on?

  • @themightybmonkeydust Read the comment by insipidman, he has a good theory. Although I don't see why having his Father's disk upon reintegration didn't cause him to come out as his father. So there's the identity disk theory, in which Flynn lives because his data is encoded there. Or my own regarding system hard disks and the idea that Kevin could not have been in there all that time without being backed up to an HDD at some point.

  • @Trendkillertrendy yeah, well tron legacy blowed, the story just kinda sucked

  • @crayzbotzz700 I felt the same at first, but since watcing it a couple times on bluray it has grown me.

  • @Trendkillertrendy Another sequel after Legacy? :D

  • @Trendkillertrendy pardon? How did you mean he isn´t dead? Kevin wasn´t derezzed in the first movie.. he jumped into the jet to get outside the game.. Or did you mean something else? I would appreciate if he survived end of legacy.. :)

  • @Trendkillertrendy Animated series will probably suck, but more movies like Tron Legacy I would watch, cuz tron Legacy was just pure awesomeness. The best movie from Disney I had seen in years.

  • @Trendkillertrendy how about tron is he alive?

  • @Trendkillertrendy Wrong. Kevin Flynn is no more after defeating Clu2

  • @Trendkillertrendy --That is the best news EVER!! How do you know more sequels are planned? Where did you read about that (and the Disney series)? Please tell me! :D

  • You definitely should see the first Tron before watching any of the clips on youtube, otherwise it won't make any sense. I saw a few clips here, then went and watched the new movie and was confused. I was like, but in the first one Flynn was trapped and the MCP was running the show, but Flynn's flashbacks in the new movie show a different story. I now realize the flashbacks were things that happened after the first movie. Although without research, the whole "Clu" thing can be confusing.

  • How that paper can be a proof? I mean anyone can print the same

  • @ErikRicardoLC I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you might not have been alive in 1982. You've probably also never come in to contact with a dot matrix printer. The movie involves a fair bit of fantasy, but you also have to consider that things were VERY much different back then. Computer technology was not openly accessible like it is today. You also have to consider that he wasn't in search of legally binding evidence, just enough to take a case before the executive board.

  • @pennybeggar Nice point, in fact I know what a dot matrix printer is. Since I'm from Mexico such printers are almost brand new technology :-D Flyn knew the games were stolen but he doesn´t know when and how, I guess that it´s the proof not the printed paper itself.

  • @ErikRicardoLC The information in that printout came from somewhere. It's a viewer-friendly form of an ownership history that would show who wrote it, and who took ownership of it. Of course if that data existed in the first place it should have been noticed by someone else in the company as soon as Flynn spoke up. Then there's the obvious part where if the MCP had total control over the mainframe the data could have easily been altered....but this was 1982. Computers were still magical.

  • @SBFloppie

Actually, why wasn't the data deleted? Well, because then the MCP wouldn't have anything over Dillinger. But that need would've soon disappeared. MCP was the real first 'Skynet'.

  • This is the actual ending. I seen this in the theater in the 80s. Jeff Bridges says, "Greetings, programs." I did like the editing of transport beam because computer time is accelerated. Flynn may have be gone for only a split second.

  • So this wasnt alternative in anyway or form. lol... Just some fan edit.

  • Editing out three quarters of the movie and then running the same editing isn't "alternative" you dope.

  • This is a nice edit. Gives a slightly different prospective on things.

  • well..... slight mistake. I'll let it slide.

  • HE RETURNS TO THE WORLD IN TRON LEGACY YOU TARDS.

  • @XxXRangerXxX -- Actually, since the events of the first movie he's created his own system called The Grid as a testing ground for basically any kind of new idea. Flynn took the main concept of what he found in Encom's system and made his own. They're not the same place (or rather, computer).

  • @DowneyAdmirer I just saw Legacy but never saw the orginal Tron. This is exactly what I didn't understand. Thanks for clarification.

    *SPOILERS*

The movie seems to also imply that Clu in Legacy is not the same Clu program in the original?

  • @LightWarrior2000 -- You'd be right, it's not the same Clu. The one from the first movie was created to sneak into the MCP's system to get evidence that Dillinger stole Flynn's games. That Clu derezzed at the beginning, so the one we see created in Legacy is Clu 2, and he was created to perfect Flynn's system, The Grid.

Hope it makes more sense now. =)

  • @DowneyAdmirer Yeah I also read a Tron wiki a bit. I'm starting to understand it more. I thought of somethings that where wrong eariler and didn't understand Clu got derezzed Even as I saw it happen in other cips here in youtube.

  • @LightWarrior2000

Correct. In Tron, Clu was a hacking program designed to ascertain incriminating evidence against Ed Dillinger, the human antagonist. Unfortunately, Clu got derezzed by the Master Control Program (MCP). In Tron: Legacy, Clu 2 was created to oversee the development of the Grid, tasked with creating the "perfect system."

  • @DowneyAdmirer

No it's the same grid, they just re-wrote and improved it

  • I dont get it, if he came back from that game, how he`s again in it in tron:legacy? o_0

  • @JUlmanen

    durp.....

  • @JUlmanen when he gets stuck is 7 years after this movie...

  • Tron Legacy was frikin awesome on IMAX 3D! Im gonna watch it again!

  • Clearly you have no clue as to what an "alternate" ending is.

  • Does everyone else see the ending in this video @ 1:50 is how the opening credits evolve (in reverse) in Tron: Legacy?

  • I wonder how many people were influenced by this film to take up a career in IT. I suspect millions of people must have chosen IT as a career because of this film. It was the first movie I know that showed IT employees in a big computer company going about their business. I always thought the ENCOM offices looked cool, and the employees didn't look like the work was drudgery but interesting, pretty cool for computer offices in 1982 irony is in the 21st century IT offices look exaclty like Encom.

  • @rohanmarkjay Look cool? You mean you like the cubicle sea? I work in one of those and hate it.

  • I was kinder wondering the helicopters blades would chop off his head the moment he stepped outside. lol Errr not as good or funny as I was hoping for.

  • can some one tell me where the alternate ending is? oh wait! I think i see it right behind this peace of crap video!

  • lame

  • Whhhhoooo love this movie, even the new one. I hope u enjoy it when u watch tron legacy ;D

  • this film has nothing to do with smoking whatsoever. quit bashing the smoke. educate yourself and find the relevance.

  • what the fuck are you talking about? this isn't the alternate ending, you attention whore!

  • They do have the song in there but just for 2seconds.

  • Woah! I just came back from Tron and didn't realize until now that they LEFT OUT THE TRON SONG. THAT'S RIDICULOUS!

  • Why on earth do they not have the song at the end of the clip in the new movie?! Pisses me off. Too much new stuff and not enough nostalgic music by Daft Punk. It's like making a Super Mario movie without the Mario theme.

  • Please please please, what's the song playing at the end? I'm looking for that one since I watched the old tron again for the new one!!!

  • its says end of line and im certain thats the name of casters night club in legacy

  • With fuzzy-d up in the limousine.

  • it was aaalll a dream...

  • this whole movie is based on BASIC tron and troff are both basic commands i have forgotten more about computers then you know .....

  • this whole movie is based on BASIC

  • anyone know the story behind tron legacy I keep hearing all these differn't stories but I want the actual sotry behind it.

  • @DeathSithe92 wikipedia is your friend.

  • @DeathSithe92 Look at the official website, there's a timeline.

  • couldnt he have just used a typewriter to type out that exact text? lol

  • @1nashtyfan ha cause they'd have to go to the MCP to prove it

  • thats not an alternative ending, thats just cutting out basically the whole movie

  • call me money as a joke an i have done more the pay you , some for get whom rent the use of bussiness names an the skill owner of whom they took use of some places an persons an science , i like my ending better it never rest an that town proven rules of power control , still with out the flim crew can be fun still tanks made of wood an water no can be touched , as for the air craft most you never given me time to ready my self 3 mouths work on 5 mouths ready as were the work next

  • I don't understand?

  • Rather a short version...

  • 1:02 since when does a helicopter fly like that

  • @zzzzJAGJEETzzzz Since at least 1982, since that was a real helicopter.

  • @zzzzJAGJEETzzzz

A helicopter can fly in any direction and fly just like that...That was a real helicopter...not a CGI one

  • 2 minutes of my life I'll never get back

  • Big Fail. he Combined the Beginning with the End.

  • very clever!

  • the music has a strange feel

  • Tron 2 is just an excuse for me to see Bruce B act in movies... he should be in more.

  • Wait so how does Jeff Bridges end back in the game?

  • If you watch the new trailer, you'll see a laser in his secret room. The same laser that will send his son in.

  • @ehcmier People gotta watch that laser this includes :

    Flynn

    Sora

    Donald

    Goofy

    And flynns son.

  • it's just shortened... thats it

  • ...such a animal, the helicopter pilot...:D

  • That was the regular ending. I did not see anything different.

  • Reply to dankohner1: I agree. This is the theatrical ending. The only difference between this and the alternate ending is the music. Nothing more.

I used to spend hours on the arcade game as a kid, and I have the 25th anniversary DVD pack.

  • @dankohner1 me neither

  • Hey I know how to mimic the master cintrol voice use AUDACITY record your voice Have one nomal track and another with reduced pitch at -3 and maybe (if you want) make another track +3 on the pitch!

  • OMG THANK YOU! Ive been looking for a way to do that voice! If youre a Tron Fan, Check out my Channel. I only have two videos so far, but I'll have more soon. If you like it, than please suscribe!

  • In the real life world this is how it would have looked like (I mean if someone was standing near him), since all the time spend inside the computer was probably a few seconds tops....think relativity.

  • A few seconds...

You didn't own a computer back in 1982, did you?

Just kidding. I love 'Tron', it was one of my favourite movies when I was a kid. Still holds up today. Now, this new version... I'm curious, but the bikes...? The old ones were better.

  • I agree, can see in thisnew one they'regoing for a video game tie in,kids today couldn't handle the break neck right angle turns of old skooltron lol.Let'shope they don't kill the new movie with obvious "made for playstation/xbox" tie ins

  • They already did the game with Tron 2.0, didn't they? Pretty sure that starred a 'son of Flynn' in the main role, as well... I never did finish that game, though.

  • @paladinstorm He was the son of Allen actually.

  • @eagle219406 Yeah, you are right. Figured somebody would correct me eventually. Still kinda applies, I imagine. Would be neat if they introduced Allen's son in the new movie, though, and tied the stories together.

  • @adnelortiz yea that would have been quite a hit, and even to argue it on your level, he at least played deadly disc and light cycles not to mention other comparable scenarios that would have put him in there several minutes minimum boobus

  • @adnelortiz In that case, it probably would have happened a few seconds longer. We probably may have seen him digitized (like the orange...since that did happen in the movie's real life world) and then we would've seen him rematerialize.

  • @adnelortiz Hm. In TRON:LEGACY, he spends nearly 10 years in the world of Tron. Geez. No wonder when his son tells him "Dad? Long time." He replies "You have no idea."

  • @magog1138 Yeah I read that from Kevin's point of view... it was like... a thousand years or something LOL. You'd go crazy!

  • Comment removed

  • @adnelortiz They'll probably think ''that's the last time I'm smoking any of that shit!''

  • @adnelortiz And processing speed. :D

  • @adnelortiz

The wierd thing is that in Tron:Legacy Flynn gets trapped in the digital world for about 20 years and ages the same rate as his son who is in the normal world. But you're probebly right about the fact that time slows down...at least in the first movie.

  • so you just cut out most of the movie then?

  • I love this ending, beautiful music with city lights at night.

  • Lame.

  • Call me crazy, but where's the "Alternative" to the regular ending?

  • Perhaps,but still good thou.

  • @9thregen he never enter tron
