not a dent in the hood its where they didnt over lap the base coat.....and i never in all my life ever do a wet on wet session and take the car outside so shit can stick to the base regardless of tack clothing it especially on BLACK THAT SHOWS EVERYTHING. but givin it was done in a garage not bad.

okay so im 16 and looking into a career for automotive painting.. I job shadowed an automotive painter at a car dealer shop and to dry it, they had to bake it at a certain heat degree. did you bake this paint after applying it to the car? if not how did it dry.. ps. the base coat looks amazing!! nice work

The car looks great guys, but I'll tell you this, that body kit wont last a month if that is going to be driven daily. The front and back bumpers are too low, and they'll get ripped off by driveway ramps, and speed bumps. But good luck guys, you look like you worked really hard on that car. props

@stretchedlife Yeah I was a little worried about that, but it's been a year now and I've only scratched the bottom of the front bumper a couple times, but they were minor. And yeah it's my daily driver.

I was wondering what type of body kit did you guys put on that? It looks amazing.

@aznfab213 Well the front and rear bumpers are from URAS. They weren't the cheapest, but it was well worth the added expense as they fit perfectly. We literally were able to just drill the mounting holes and put them on. The fenders were from Raceonusa and I wouldn't recommend buying from them. The rear overlays were fine, but the front fenders required extensive modification in order to fit. I can't remember what the side skirts were.

I realize it's not the most conservative style, but hey I'm not looking to please anyone but myself. That's what it's all about though right? We all work on our cars the way we want, and that's the beauty of customizing :)

used a conventional gun. We couldnt get an HVLP Gun. We were on a budget. havent color sanded at all either.
