  • MILLIONS of silly Americans automatically dislike and love making fun of the French and other Europeans.........when these Americans themselves have never lived/worked in those countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!...you can understand any country's people so intimately well without even hvg stepped into that country.

That's a very clear sign of SILLY AMERICAN IGNORANCE.

  • A very popular mentality amongst the low-class segment of Americans is:

    We kick-ass in everything.

This mentality is another STUPIDLY UNIQUE aspect of ignorant Americans.

Since birth, this 'we kick ass" thingy has been slowly and continuously drilled into every American.

BUT...if you hv lived in other high-quality countries, you'll realise what a DUMP the US is.....

hahahaha.....45 MILLION living on foodstamps and MILLIONS losing their homes

    Typical 3rd world.

    Your ass was kicked.

  • @Highlyskeptical

There is only so much that Americans can learn from school.

Genuine high-quality kids come from QUALITY PARENTS.....parents who're well-educated, intellectual, rational and matured.

In the US, you get MILLIONS of parents who inculcate the wrong things into their kids' minds.....such as ENCOURAGING them to join the military. HAHAHAAAAAA............

In this aspect, Americans are STUPIDLY UNIQUE.

Low-quality parents = low quality kids = low quality population.

  • @VibrantConceptz

Mexicans are willing to do those jobs that silly whites, Asians and Niggers are NOT willing to do.Mexicans are willing to toil and sweat, and to be adaptable and flexible.

Non-Mex BLINDLY expect and clamor for high wages, short hours, great benefits, and increased leisure time. Look at yourselves. What kind of prestigious qualifications do you hv? special competencies ? NO.....and you hv the balls to be lazy, lackadaisical and expect everything.

    Learn from the Mexicans

  • If you've lived in New York all your life, and have never stepped out from NY, can I say that you're IGNORANT ??? Of course!!!!!!!!!!!!

Similarly, the majority of Americans have never flew further than Mexico and Canada.

They hv never lived and worked in other countries.

But funny though....they can talk and debate for HOURS on China, Middle East etc...and make fun of those countries.

Watching TV, surfing the Net and knowing it ALL about the world.

    THAT'S IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY.

  • It doesn't matter 1/3 or 2/3 or whatever.

When 70% of ANY country's population has never owned a valid PASSPORT..........you instantly know how IGNORANT and DEPRIVED they are.

Reminds me of the Truman Show.

You THINK you're hvg a great time and know everything.

But what you know is actually very little, and have been FED to you since your childhood by your own kind of ignorant friends and highly manipulative Govt.

  • lol @ when he says: "And they aren't all republicans" lmfao

  • Think of all the people that voted for Oblamer....

  • well i the UK a WMD expert by the name of Dr David Kelly informed Tony Blair UK PM at the time that there was no WMD in Iraq and they didnt have the technology capable of WMD 1 week after that he was found dead in a ditch (obviously why) then few weeks later war was declared for Saddam's head basically but realistically for oil now imho it was Saddam who supposedly killing his people was really keeping the likes of the taliban and al qaeda under control

  • ana should get naked

  • The thing about Saddam and 9/11.

From what I understand Iraq weren't involved in the attack, but it's not like the Young Turks have any in depth understanding of the whole affair either.

I don't really understand the whole thing. I just know little bits I've picked up.

Most people are too naive to even KNOW how little they understand. Most people are dumb enough to think they know a lot.

Everyone's a fucking expert these days.

    This goes for liberals too.

  • @DrunkenPoetic your spot on

  • @clwgirl510

Only a silly American without a passport would say Turks are ignorant.

    Go live in Turkey.

Ask the people there 'Hi, do you have a passport"?....and they'll think you're just ANOTHER STUPID American.

I've been based there for 9mths, and I can confirm that more than 90% of them have PASSPORTS......vs only 30% of silly Americans who have passports.

hahaha...developed country? Nahhh.....US is merely a developing country with a DEVELOPED military.

    No big deal.

  • @bigrigJim

    You're wrong.

    Wyoming is a fantastic place.

Probably the best place in the world to live.

Ask any silly American who's stuck in Wyoming with no passport, and with their useless sons (with no future) who're HIDING in the US military due to poor educaton and low-quality upbringing........they will tell you how grand Wyoming is.

Acute symptom of DEPRIVATION and IGNORANCE.

  • There's a country where "the no.of Ferraris per sq mile" is much more than in the US, anywhere in Europe and Middle East.

This country is so packed with rich fellas, and especially rich billionaire Americans (eg Jim Rogers) that Ferrari Spa has labelled it 'the most important market in 2011".

Actually, many super-rich AND SUPER SMART Americans (who know how to choose countries) have already FLED there to start a new life, and as a Texan, this place is also my new home.

  • We Americans are ALSO ignorant about what's inside our country.

There's an 8-star American resort that's claimed by US journos to be virtually identical to Bali. H.Clinton's fav place. Those below 18 not allowed entry. More than US$1500 per nite.

What's the name of this place, or AT LEAST, where the hell is it ???

Oh yes...talking about Bali.....only 30% of us Americans with passports have the oppoprtunity to fly there. Very expensive though, fellow Americans.

  • Guaranteed to CURE IGNORANCE.......a proper REAL job that can prevent you from being TRAPPED within any country.

Once you start experiencing REAL life in other countries, then you won't be ignorant anymore.

Ignorance is attempting to learn everything via the Media and internet, and trying to act as a know-all.

  • Hmmm that's disturbing news ! But why don't we ask the young turks about the Armenian genocide. How many of them would have heard about that?

  • Because they get all thier information from Fox News.

  • I don't think The Young Turks should be preaching on ignorance. It's irony at it's best.

  • "Ignorance" This can be said for all of the world.

  • WOW THERE' S ALOT OF HATRED ON THIS PAGE !

ITS NOT THEIR FAULT THEIR JUST A MISSLEAD PEOPLE.

THE U.S GOVERNMENT CONTROLS AND MISSLEADS THE PEOPEL WITH PROPAGANDA, BIT LIKE CHINA AND NORTH KOREA.

  • @goodall1bay I'm sorry but its your fault if you can't learn your stuff right.

  • There's a country where 41 MILLION depends on food stamps.

hahahaha..........WOW!!!!!!! a country packed with useless, lazy, lackadaisical numbnuts who're just not educated enough and not qualified enough to get great jobs.

......and stupid enough to keep blaming China for stealing away jobs from the US.

    Americans......LUDICROUSLY STUPID and UNBELIEVEABLY IGNORANT.

  • @menzerna1234 This stereotype saddens me. :( It's like being a German in Nazi Germany circa-1941 and you don't support Hitler; but all Germans are being painted with a broad brush. :l Stereotyping is funny; but it's never an overwhelming majority.

  • @menzerna1234 your the one whos ignorant bcuz no1 in america blames china for stealing jobs we blame the dam MEXICANS!

  • There's a country where ONLY 30% of its people possess valid passports.

THAT, by itself, confirms what a stupid country it is.....packed with poorly-travelled people and people who've never flown, lived and worked in other regions of the world.

    IGNORANT AMERICANS.....who're loudmouthed smartasses.

  • @menzerna1234 If a United States citizen doesn't have a valid passport it only proves that they are perfectly happy staying within the borders of the greatest country in the world, and they see no reason to leave it .

  • @bigrigJim

When you're trapped in Wyoming for too long, naturally, you'll feel that Wyoming is the BEST place for you.

It's like that poor frog that's too comfortable trapped under that same 'ol flowerpot.

  • @menzerna1234 I've been to Wyoming , it totally sucks. If your going to spend time there you might as well just head out to another country.

  • @bigrigJim or it might prove that they dont have the means or opportunity to go other places.

and yeah you can still be perfectly happy anywhere... i'm perfectly happy living where i am now. but for the chance to travel to other places... see great things...

take a week anywhere simply to experience something else than normal... in my eyes.. those who think they're so happy to be somewhere that they would never leave even for a while... they're very ignorant

  • An IGNORANT nation who're poorly-travelled is a great thing to have.

So easy to SLOWLY manipulate and deceive.

These silly numbnuts will readily believe whatever the MEDIA/GOVT tells them.

Tell a lie everyday for a year, and even the most hardcore non-believer will soon start believing.

That's the power of dis-information...........there's a Division in CIA that specialises in Dis-information for the domestic environment.

    SILLY AMERICANS.

  • @goodall1bay I agree so much. I'm an American and let me tell ya. The education here makes you the most ignorant person in the universe.

  • @BobDawg173

The education system, and the what the US media propagates.......are the MAIN TOOLS to keep Americans ignorant.

IF Americans were intelligent, highly educated, came from rich high-quality families, reasonably rich, knew how to use logic, matured and knew how to plan a fruitful future..........America's military would be so desperately short of new recruits.

  • @BobDawg173 WELL THIS ACCENT WAS HERE FIRST' FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, WHATS YOUR EXCUSE? YOUR FOREFATHERS WOULD HAVE HAD THIS ACCENT' WHAT WENT WRONG........ LOUSY EDUCATION ? LOL

  • @goodall1bay lol lets just say 2 years later Im not ignorant anymore. I've seen the truth now. Never mind that last comment

  • The subtitle guy should get fired.

  • Yanks are intellectually inferior, fat, DUMB, Plastic European, identity crises suffering dumb shits.

They get more and more fucked up with each and ever generation, fatter and fatter, DUMBER and DUMBER.

Dumb Yankee Doodle Dandy Doo Yank Cunts.

  • I was sure it was a joke when my friend told me that Hussein had become the US president.

    Truth is stranger than fiction.

  • What the crap, Translate Caption at 0.52 in a rack ... iraq

  • I think ppl just watch too much Faux news!

  • Because we have dumbasses like THE YOUNG TURKS

  • Is this guy still out there pretending to be a pundit?

  • People like ignorant americans are why we have to live in a world where using atomic bombs and random killing civilians in whatever country is the next "threat" is all good as long as you do it in the name of "the good guys".

  • The same number are convinced Israel is an American Ally.

  • Comment removed

  • @winterstellar Teachers grade on intellegance not behavior idiot. and besides if USA is full of ignorant people then why do foreigners try to escape to our country and come to study here? and besides just because a FEW people cant remember the states doesnt mean EVERY american student doesnt remember the states

  • @CutieAngelGirl3

And you're hardly an example of excellence or intelligence (lurn2spell lol & grammar pl0x).

  • @Rurne at least i have GOOD schools to teach me these things while you have okay schools

  • @CutieAngelGirl3 And you can say OK that's enough.

  • @Rurne my spelling is GREAT idiot!! YOU have the spelling problem

  • @Rurne This is youtube not a schoraly review, his spelling and grammar might be off track but that doesnt make him an idiot.

  • @CutieAngelGirl3 What countries are you talking about, third-world under-developed dumps as usual? There are lots and lots of countries in the world where people wouldn't even concider going to the USA to live. For short holidays maybe, sure..but to live there?? No way! : )

  • @winterstellar So you one of them.

  • @CutieAngelGirl3 But of course, one reason to go there is exactly the ignorance over there. It's easy to sell crap to anyone there, and the low levels at most colleges make it tempting to go and get great grades too.. (I'm not talking about Ivy League colleges here, they're great of course. : )

  • @winterstellar how could americans get into ivy league schools if they are idiots? and just because america isnt the smartest country out there does mean that they are stupid. there are TONS of countries that are WAY stupid than america

  • @CutieAngelGirl3 I'd question that one.

  • @ScottMcK9 trust me there are. an american child gets sent to school when they are just toddlers and some kids from other countries never even go to school

  • @CutieAngelGirl3 I don't think that's true, I think in most countries including Britain, kids get sent to school from an early age, although you're very much right if defending that there are more educated Americans out there. There are drop outs and kids who don't even go to school in the US as well. Either way, I still believe there are smarter people over there, simply because I've spoken with a number. I blame the media however, for a lack of knowledge in certain areas, including history.

  • I work my ass off in School and I get good grades and pass. But some ignorant kids which are dicks and douchebags do nothing and they receive a ton of chances. If you're doing good then suddenly you go downhill, you're going to fail the year. But if you're doing bad since the start, you just do a little bit of work and pass.

I think those who dont want to study should be expelled. Why waste money on them >.>

  • please educate yourself america, for the sake of the rest of the world

    - a human

  • beyond ignorant. People concern themselves first with their own country. To not even understand why YOUR government is taking YOUR money to pay for war is outrageous. It's inhuman. Grow the fuck up. At least understand why your own country is killing others. That's the least a human can ask.

  • Answer

More consequences for students that don't learn how to think in school.

More focus by schools on critical thinking over rote facts.

You create a firm foundation for citizens, so they don't fall prey to baloney and superstition, they don't fall prey to the crap that every human being carries around inside them (figuratively and literally I suppose).

You create a creature of nature that has the cognitive skills to govern itself in a way that promotes the best within each of us.

  • @Highlyskeptical That's the most beautiful future i have ever thought about.

  • how many people was in there poll,

and wich people is answer for this questions (bronx or what ???)

  • very stupid people ...

  • its all propaganda to fuel hate so that the armed forces can keep profiteering from war

  • Gotta love statistics. They can make anyone look like an idiot.

Did you know that a million Americans can't read or write?

Did you know that a million Americans are aged 2?

    Just one example...

  • I would have to agree... on the point that biased, and commercially controlled media leads to some of the largest ranges of information/misinformation. I mean really, they spent something like 3 weeks airing the same b/s about that playmate or w/e dying from an o.d. .... during a war.... shows me where their priorities fall. Also showed me how much my being in the service at the time really meant something, unless a famous person died.

  • Americans are stupid as hell. Didn't even know who Osama Bin Laden was until the towers got hit.

  • Typical TYT bullshit.

  • What? Saddam Hussein? What's next, Ronald Mcdonald in cahoots with Hitler?

  • word!

  • George W. knew it, he knew how easy it would be to fool the public.

  • Bin Laden didn't do it either, it was Bush and his folks, wake up and smell the thermite peolple!!!

  • This is an old video but I do hope that these "intelligent" folks from young turks have figured out that "ignorance" has been a birthright in the US since the mid 60s.....

  • that also includes cenk lmao

  • 1/3 americans are ignorant cause they watch this bullshit

  • @DRDFOX Just look at the Olympics Logo .. Why do you think there are 5 rings ? .. Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Oceania.. Stfu

  • Remember: 2/3 of Americans are smart, but embarassed because the dumb dumbs seem to always gain the attention.

  • @pillowbugg But why do stupid people gain attention there? Here they just live in small, quiet, unambitious worlds. Thinking about it some stupid people are nice and respectful, they aren't all bad.

  • @Nashy119 Here, smart people live quiet successful lives preoccupied living their lives and conducting thier business. This allows the idiots , who have all the time in the world, to garner the attention they seek. Just my theory....

  • @pillowbugg LOL good point, still 1/3 of over 300million people is alot, honestly this statistic makes me frightened for america, i know this video is old but its just the fact that so many people decide to stick their middle finger up to the facts and logic and believe such nonsence instead

  • @pillowbugg I wouldn't go that far. 1/3 of Americans getting a simple fact completely wrong doesn't mean the other 2/3 are smart. It's more like 15% imo.

  • Speaking as someone who has travelled extensively, and has lived in NY for 3 years, I can say that lgnorance exists everywhere, what fucks america up is that there's no cultural push to become enlightened, just a push to become rich/famous. The almost institutional ignorance is also a product of biased media,self-obsessed education and the belief in "american exceptionalism". It wouldn't be so bad if this ignorance wasn't coupled with the frankly retarded belief that they have all the answers.

  • @JoseGalvez08 Rude ? That is the reality..

  • only 1/3 ????

  • People in the United States call themselves Americans. It seems they don´t know that America is not a country, it´s a continent... That is just one of many examples of why US people are so stupid, beside obese, arrogant and ignorant

  • @diegomanya17 The United States ARE a country, Canada and Mexico aren't possessed by them, I hope your trolling

  • @Bobisawesome100 The Americas are North America (Mexico, US and Canada) and South America (From Colombia to the tip of south Argentina) ... If you combine those 2 (North and South) you have a continent that is called America, which goes from Alaska to the south of Argentina.. In Europe and South America they teach us the real thing, not some fantasy geography that they teach you in the US that says you are America.. You guys think you are the center of the world lmfao.. Go learn some geography

  • @diegomanya17 Firstly I am a Canadian, not an Americunt you ass. Secondly, I thought you were talking about the USA, America, which confused me. Normally people say, "The America's" not just "America".

  • @Bobisawesome100 That is what people say in the US... I´ve travelled all over AMERICA (North and South) and people in South America say that America is 1 continent, which you can divide in 2... But people in North America think that America is a country.. That is like saying that Australia is a continent..

  • @diegomanya17 you just completely avoided my response.

  • @diegomanya17

The United States, Canada and Mexico are counties in North America. It is referred to as the northern continent of the Americas.

  • @diegomanya17

The terms Oceania or Australasia are sometimes substituted for Australia to denote a continent encompassing the Australian mainland and various islands of the Pacific Ocean not part of other continents. For example, the Atlas of Canada names Oceania,[14] as does the model taught in Italy, Greece[20] and in Latin America and Iberia.

  • @diegomanya17

There are seven continents, and you were correct about the Americas, but a continent called America...wrong!

  • @leedy04 No my friend.. There are 6 continents... 1 - Europe, 2 - Africa, 3 - Asia, 4 - Oceania, 5 - America, 6 - Antarctic.. Why do you think the olympic logo has 5 rings ? Because all continents participate except the Antarctic (obviously) ..

  • @diegomanya17 I think Australasia is also a continent.

  • @tasneefm Nop, Oceania is

  • @tasneefm

You shd save up for a few more years, and start flying far and wide.

Much better compared to studying the world from the TV and Internet.

  • @diegomanya17

A continent is one of several large landmasses on Earth. They are generally identified by convention rather than any strict criteria, with seven regions commonly regarded as continents—they are (from largest in size to smallest): Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

  • @diegomanya17

The seven-continent map is usually taught in China and most English-speaking countries.

The six-continent combined-America map is sometimes taught in Latin America and parts of Europe including Spain, (equivalent 5 inhabited continents map( excluding Antarctica), Portugal and Greece. In the early 1900's, the Olympics used only inhabited continents (excluding Antarctica) and so five-continents are depicted in the Olympic logo.

We are all taught from a different perspective.

  • @leedy04 Wrong, there are 6 continents because your leaving out Central America..

  • @diegomanya17 Is that a joke?...

  • @1234gnrslash No.. 6 continents : Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, Antartic

  • @diegomanya17 Oh, I thought you were trying to say Central America was a continent never mind

  • ....People who think that kind of stuff are theories and mst likely anarcist (however you spell it lmao dont judge) If they believe something dfferent doesnt mean they are "stupid."

  • Captain america should change his name

  • I really hate politics, and I may not know the name of the Prime Minister of Canada, but I can at least guess that he's an old white guy.

  • When you stop believing in nationalism, multinational corporations win.

  • This man has only three brain cells himself - the reason why America is so stupid is simple - it's called Emersonion philosophy - wherein complex problems are reduced to pithy sound bites as in Confucianism. Example : No Pain - No Gain etc. Americans are trained to want all life's problems reduced to black and white and they have no tolerance for grey shades or time for details. It's not their fault they are stupid they are victims of a national de-education programme

  • @CompactJam I think it's sad how people bash Americans like this. Some of the world's greatest inventions came FROM AMERICA. (telephone, airplane ect.) People who stereotype on a kind of people are the ignorant one's. Just as you guys talk garbage about us with a bunch of facts you looked up on googe doesnt make you any better. Just as you guys talk garbage about us we can about you. So think about what your saying...geez (im just saying) ^^

  • @theXJMeffect No we honestly don't. We feel cornered and threatened by America's combo of stupidity, hatrred and greed which is never a winning combo and your govt kills tens of thousands needlessly and tries to keep you all as stupid as possible in order to pay you the lowest wages possible. Americans always pay the highest price for Americanism ~ What is sad is how many Americans have died abroad killing innocent civilians ~ Love and Peace XXX

  • @theXJMeffect It's a neverending cycle.

  • @theXJMeffect its a true fact that you guys invented a lot of helpful things, i mean you still are, when it comes to science you guys have some incredibly smart people , but this new generation is simply dumb; They'are not saying that every single american is dumb, but the vast majority. Its not even stupidity you knw its simply ignorance! like a read book or Get to know whats happening outside the US. instead giving the whole " not every american is like that" excuse,CHANGE the school system.

  • Americans dont really have news programmes. They have 'celebrities' giving an opinion on current gossip. That's better for ratings, which is good for advertising revenue. Scarry.

  • I know this is all important and whatnot, but all i see is a huge headset.

  • You don,t need a education today, fox news is now your new school & teachers, hey must be cuz so many believe thier out right lies.

  • So they executed Saddam for what?

  • @ytxcg War crimes such as using bio weapons against his own population and for generally being a tyrant

  • @shaunyboy1000 With the support of Ronald Reagan.

  • @steelersguy74 Really? wow didnt know that where did you hear that?

  • @shaunyboy1000 Look it up. It's well-known history.

  • Canada <3<3<3<3<33<33 its amazing how that line that divides these two countries can make such a change in the people that inhabit them ;)

  • @Lisadotcom Hahaha True!!!!

  • @Lisadotcom I LOVE CANADA! I wish I could go there sometime. by the way, your right, another thumbs up for you.

  • @Lisadotcom Can I PLEASE move to your country? lol

  • @Lisadotcom

I am not agreeing to this... Yes.. The American sosiety is under attack... but this is not this generations faul... The shit hit the fan already in 1913... when the shithole W. Wilson as president got the FED bill throw.. There is many good americans... most of them are.. but sadly.. this is true... But there is hope... in the name of RON PAUL... Learn and read...

  • im feel dumb !

  • Q: Why does America, one of the greatest countries in the world, have one of the worst education systems in the world?

    BOOK OF THE CENTURY

THE SILENT CRISIS DESTROYING AMERICA'S BRIGHTEST MINDS

    Author: Sharon Rose Sugar

Publisher: Tree of Knowledge Press: We Educate Children One Child at a Time

  • ALL Americans are ignoranT!

  • 1/3? better make it 2/3 now..

  • Why are 1/3 of Americans still so ignorant? Because they watch TYT and view it as canon.

  • Sorry, not everybody can be as smart (or annoying) as you Cenk, you douchebag.

  • "1/3 Americans ignorant"??

I reckon 9/11 Americans are ignorant

They believe everything their media tells them

If they open there eyes & stop accepting mainstream media bullshit they may find the ugly truth

They have allowed their country to be hijacked & run by Corporations & Banksters

Land of the Free & Home of the Brave, if only that were true :(

  • @SeymourSkinner It's more like 3/4 are very ignorant.

  • @SeymourSkinner KILLUINATI!

  • @SeymourSkinner Didn't Scotland lay claim to "Home of the Brave" well before America did?

  • @ParanoidGallows whoo hoo Scotland GLASGOW YA BASS!

  • @ParanoidGallows Id say the scottish did, but sure these are ignorant americans were talking about

  • @ParanoidGallows What's your point? Scotland remained unconquered and free from the Romans after fighting for our land for 500 years against them. Our people remained unconquered and free having defeated the Norwegian Vikings. The reason the US has freedom to speak and freedom to vote (or had) was because of Scotland. More than half the colonial army that fought and won America's Independence were Scots...

  • @ParanoidGallows You should watch 'Born Fighting' Part 1 and 2 on my playlists. As many historians will tell you themselves, it was not an American rebellion, it was no less than and no more than a Scottish-Presbyterian rebellion. Our people were known as Scotch-Irish, they were Irish only by Geography, Scots by birth. The highland Clearances of course, started early 1700's and finished early 1900's more than half that army that won the Independence were Scottish and French...

  • @ParanoidGallows The American War of Independence was mainly based off the influence of the Deceleration of Arbroath and that's because most of them were Scots. Who were the Scots? Rednecks, Hillbillies and Crackers. They were the cowboys. Americans say "free country, I'm free to say whatever I want to say" where does that come from? John Knox, born in 1500's in Scotland. He was the one that gave people a right to speak their mind, learn what they want, and a freedom to vote.

    I'm just wondering

  • @ParanoidGallows ... Just wondering, since I came across this video randomly on YouTube, why had you mentioned Scotland? And why were there '10' likes besides this? Do people realise the impact Scotland had on America? Sadly most don't.

Anyway, there are a lot of great people in America, not all Americans are stupid or pig ignorant, there are a lot of wonderful people in the country, it's just sad they're over looked by arseholes.

  • @ScottMcK9

Because Americans keep saying that America is "the land of the free and home of the brave". You of all people know that Scotland laid claim to be the home of the brave well before America did. I mean, there's even a song about it which surely you must know of. The problem is their faltering education system. I know that there are good and smart americans. I've been there to see both sides of the same coin. It's just a shame that the smart ones are in the minority.

  • @ParanoidGallows I think you've picked them up wrong mate, and besides, who won their Independence bud? Scotland. Any true American that knows their history has great respect for Scotland. I see where you're coming from though bud. I think there are a lot of smart ones, they're just over shadowed by the pompous ones. And yeah the education is a problem, I blame that on their corrupt government.

  • @ScottMcK9 I really don't understand why you seem so defensive about Scotland when I'm not disrespecting Scotland in any way. Yes, I know about how Scotland won its independence and how it was a Scottish king who made the union of the crowns. Unfortunately, these "true americans" you speak of are rare. I have been to the USA and I have friends there. I've seen with my own eyes what americans are like. Most of them are nice, polite people but most can't point to Afghanistan on a map.

  • @ParanoidGallows Am not really that defensive to be pretty honest with you, but like I say, I understand what you mean about the whole thing. I've came across a fair few, especially ones who are ignorant towards my own country

  • @ParanoidGallows Yes they did, but typical Yank ignorance and stupidity is the kind of disease that is affecting large populations of the Human species, Yanks are not the sort of people you would want to trust with any level of intelligence.

  • @SeymourSkinner so come here and help, there are still some sane people here

  • Sometimes Americans have some really peculiar ideas, like "President Obama is a Muslim", and even if he was, so what? On the other hand, I'm sure there are as many stupid people in other countries, but it seems like Americans are disproportionately represented in the media.

  • I think that there are many americans who celebrate their ignorance. It will be interesting over the next five years to see what happens to a nation like USA as peak oil hits. lets hope they dont vote in a nutter, Most have been oil/arms puppets, otherwise there will be more wars to secure oil supplies as they diminish.

  • It wil be interesting to see what happens in America over next few years as cheap oil comes to an end. I see very many Americans as dangerously ignorant.

  • @mcwolfus We're moving away from oil anyway.

  • and those 1/3 americans live in the south...

  • Ignorant, and proud of it. I get so upset when I see how people are abused by the government - but then I realize that they are getting what they deserve.

  • damn I hate f*ck'n sheeple

  • People believe saddam was responsible for 9/11, because of the mainstream news/entertainment networks. They're in entertainment and ratings now. Not news. Pretty sad. I get my news on the internet now. Not from idiots like O'reilly, etc., etc., etc.................

  • I'm Canadian.

I know more about America then the morons who live there.

    And I'm 15, god damnit.

  • @TheRimDoctor me too, but I'm 16... god damn it.

  • @TheRimDoctor That's what a clueless, ignorant 15 year old child would think.

  • @jethrodassam

Along with the 19 others who agreed with me?

  • @TheRimDoctor Oh yeah, there are plenty of immature imbeciles like you. You're not special.

  • @jethrodassam

*Looks at free healthcare, Parliament system, high quality of public education, an economy that strongly survived the American recession and low crime rates*

Yep. We Canadians are all morons. Nous n'avons aucune idée.

  • @TheRimDoctor There's no such thing as free health care. What's great about your Parliament system? Quality of education? 7 of 10 of the world's best universities are in the U.S. Our crime rate has steadily been going down. Not all Canadians are morons, but you certainly are.

  • @jethrodassam

Let me re-iterate. Free as in, the citizenry does not pay directly for health care. Yes, we pay for it through taxes and whatnot, but be don't have to fork over $20,000 to have a heart transplant. The best thing about our parliament system is that if our prime minister
