Agreed, that both parties need more specifics 100%
I would point out; he is a war hero, not just for being a POW, rather his refusal to leave. He suffered for 3 years that he could have avoided but he felt that others should be released first, and his release would be used for propaganda.
america is about to make another terrible mistake. this was more like a war cry than a convention speech. can u ever picture sarah standing up to mccain on any tough issue? america wake up. if anything she ll be nothing more than his secretary. At least with obama ,
joe biden could challenge him on any complicated issue. mccain could declare war on any country or do anything drastic and not be challenged by sarah. is this what we want for america? people think outside the box for once PLEASE!

On taxes...what about gov't actually DOING LESS!? Has it ever crossd anyone's mind that we don't need government doing everything in the world 4 us? I posit that right now as we speak, 50% of government is illegitimate AT LEAST! And Obama wants it 2 do MORE! That's where taxes come in. You say how is gov't going 2 do all the things it needs 2 do? They shouldn't b doing 1/2 of what they do now. Why not cut out some of the BS and take that money and use it 4 the legitimate purposes of govt
The money that we are spending to study the sex lives of tree frogs in oregon state for example. let's start with that money. yes we are in debt but i went into debt to buy a house. no i didn't actually pay the money for the house but i am sitting here in it right now and am able to enjoy it. all the things the gov't does represent real money either money that is actually being spent or money that will have to be paid back in debt, it's all real money. so if we did less in one area, we could
save that money, whether it be cash paid or indebtedness occured, and use it elsewhere. i agree to square the books. i agree i agree i agree, but how? take more money from people who are already overtaxed?! 44% of america's collective income goes to gov't! $23K/per citizen man woman and child. that means that in my case with me and my son they allocated $46K to us as a justification for taxing us like they did. Do you think for one minute my family got $46K worth of services from the gov't?
No way! no way on God's green earth did we get that much value from gov't. the way to square the books is to CUT GOV'T NEEDLESS SPENDING TO THE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE LEGITIMATE FUNCTIONS OF GOV'T. Not to tax people more. I think 44% is more than enough in fact, i think it's egregious. Raise taxes?! gimme a break. Only someone that has never worked for a living would think this is a good idea. We're always told how obama gave up a career to pursue public service. maybe he should
have just gone to work like 5 years or 2 years first before giving it up, instead of giving it up all together then he wouldn't come up with some of the stupid ideas he does.
Oh and just in case you are worried that I love the other side, look through some of my vids bashing mccain and conservatives. i just happen to be on obama at the moment.
First video of yours I've watched in a while and it makes sense since this is the first overtly political video u've made in a while that it would grab my attention so. Not a fan of McCain, but I, like you, want to be fair to all the candidates. I believe the Hanoi experience is relevant to McCain's candidacy b/c it is what he has said made him want to serve in other capacities beyond his military service...i.e. the reason he went in2government.
If by 'relevant' you mean 'reason for him running', then fine.
But it isn't relevant to the voters except as an attempt to say "I'm a POW, vote for me." At least that is how it appears since he continually goes back to it.
Well I think the reason someone is running is very relevant to their whole candidacy. I mean what motivates a person to make the decisions they have made. A guy sits in front of a supervisor in an interview, he wants 2 know 'Why do u want this job? What made u choose our company? Do u want this simply as a pay raise or do u want 2 contribute 2 our company's success?' So, yes, I think 'reason for him running' means all-around relevance. I think it's more that 'I'm a POW. Vote for me.'

What money? We're in debt, remember. I think we at least need to square the books before just saying "the hell with it", don't you?
