is that the stingray from songriver? i hate that bugger selling it... pms-ing guy...LOL
instead of the typical mamak stalls after the wee hours... you could try the bak kut teh opposite chungling open from 7 til 3 i think... the braised duck rice in air itam market area (near the famous assam laksa sold in the evening) opens at 10pm til around 4am... and a economy rice stall in jelutong that opens at 3am
24 oily dishes in 1 day. awsome feat. as a penangnite myself i feel like puking
OMGGGGG...Hats off to you guys! I'm a Penangite and I've never done, or have known anyone who's crazy enough to do something like that! Plus, it's always a great feeling to know that someone who's outside our culture enjoy our food. :-)
A big part of culture is food, and in Malaysia this is even more so. So we planned this tour to be a whirlwind of Malaysian cultural experience, designed to give people a 'taste' of Malaysia.
The amazing thing about this was that every bite was truly delicious. We split most meals between us, but we finished everything that we ordered. We also started on only about 3 hours of sleep the night before.
Future plans include different versions of the 24 hour marathon, and a 48 hour marathon.
AMAZING. I have the utmost respect for you two! You're my heroes. That made me sooooo hungry. Heather and I both cried when we saw the roti egg and cheese or whatever that was. See you guys for 24 hour food marathon #2!
You are freaking awesome!!!! This rocks!!!! I miss you dude! Good to see you working hard!!! Or at least your stomach! What was the after effect like? Burn on the way out?
Hey Well Done guys! We are sitting here with a look of astonishment mixed with disgust mixed with admiration and a tinge of jealousy!! I'll email you the link for the liver cleansing diet!!! We can't wait to feed Elise her first Roti!!
tat is so cool dude!!!
