@bluzercic Bird beat Jordan 14x times in a row. Bird beat dynasty level talent whereas Jordan did not. Bird came into the league and transformed a 29 win team into a 60 win team and champion in 2 years. Jordan came into the league and had 3 losing seasons. Bird was a better shooter, passer and rebounder. And for all the talk of Jordan's defense, Bird even had a higher defensive rating and Bird was a better system defender. Like I said, it's not even close.

Stat stuffing (37 ppg 1 year while only shooting 48 %), doubled attendance, and greater tv ratings, endorsement deals and 3 losing seasons. Don't peddle your crap to an educated fan. @FavreianVengeance There is no comparison between the Bulls & the Celtics front office/ TEAMS during Birds era...Giving Bird all the credit while at the same time, giving Jordan all the blame for Boston dominating the Bulls in the 80s is extremely irrational...It shows that u cleary do not think before u type, & im disappointed with myself for engaging in a debate with a person of your sports knowledge & mental capacity...Sometimes I just cant help myself smh

My point is that if you are the greatest ever, you're not going to lose 14 times in a row to anybody. As great as the Celts were, they were very beatable (in one game) like all teams.

They had more difficulty in tune up games against against a USA Select Team that had collegiate players They could play next day after an orgy and pot session and still dominate the competition. That's how it really was.
