There are about 30,000 Hungarian-speaking gipsyes in Satu Mare county and the North-Western part of Bihor county. It makes you wonder why.. Those parts were a generous gift for Romania, some localities did not have a Romanian name.. Check Livada (Sárköz) for instance.. It was called Şarchiuz by the Romanians, which has no meaning as a word. Sárköz has.
