Yeah I had to go to 3 stores in Shibuya to get a pair of shoes last time I was there. Japanese people have small feet...yep : )

Haha, this drives me nuts too. No socks, hardly any shoes, and no long sleeved shirts or jackets in Japan. That's why I take an empty suitcase when I go overseas - to stock up. Even in Korea they have normal sizes, and there are plenty of Japanese people (especially young people) as big as me, so why retailers still only stock clothes in WWII era body sizes is mystifying.

lol thats why i see alot of young men running around in hip hop clothes, big enough to wear without looking silly. actually i knew a guy who was Japanese but slim American-ish build, his work suit was SOO tiny it was sad. but he said that was he biggest he could get and he has to wear a suit to work. so i say ganbatte ne.

(its messed up for american girls too, feet size 8us is considered gigantic. and dont get me started on undergarnments)

That's why when I go to Japan (or if I guess, but I'm being optimistic) I will buy socks and shoes and pants before I go lol. I'm 5'10.5" girl so I doubt I'll find anything that will fit me, unfortunately.
