I met Katy Manning back in 1996 at a Quantum Leap convention in London. Lovely lady. She said she was honoured to squeeze her signature into my autograph book that was filled with various actors I'd met over the years from QL. :-)

The funniest moment was Jedren Black's comment about the lady walking past - when you could smell sewage. I really laughed out loud at that one!

I went to see Katy in Edinburgh in August this year when she did an afternoon session with the Edinburgh Doctor Who Group (she was also performing at the festival). She is a wonderful woman and so much fun. Plus she's got so many stories to tell!
