  • I'm hungry :S

  • Really interesting vid, the kind of butchery for game/grassfed we know is Native American style, where it's fat from lean, minus blood damage, bone from lean meat. Sort of your way but inside out. If that makes sense? Anyway, lots of good fillets and fresh minces for curing come from this, pay attention, people!

  • I am very suprised that u have ten fingers :D

  • the meat looks very lean great job on the cutting.

  • brilliant to see the job done right well done mate

  • If i was to purchase a knife like that, what type of knife type do i need to ask for?

  • @9fishin2 Thats a victorinox knife, they have various bonins, skinning, filleting knives available.

  • Hey doesn't waste a thing!

  • great video thanks

  • I did it ????, not as good as you and it took me ages!, no more whole leg in the oven, still cannot sharpen my knife like yours.

    A1

    thanks

  • @womblehunters

I didnt see him sharpen his knife...

I DID see him align the edge of his knife.

You need to sharpen it with a stone or something first, and then once the edge folds over with use...use the steel to align the edge again.

  • @alasdairmclachlain If your edge is rolling its because you have the wrong grind angle and its too thin for the job.

  • 2 years ago i sent this to a friend and now he sends it to me as new news funny how much you send folks that they ignored

  • Great vids i am a butcher myself but never done any game deer there bloody lean things! got asked to do one a few years ago and said yeah but guy never got back to me , your very skilled not wearing a glove!.

  • pro butcher ftw

  • I hear these top Butchers make good money ? this guy is great !!! and quick !!!

  • Nice Vids, If you are struggling to find anything to do with those intercostal muscles (in between ribs) they do make delicious biltong/jerky!

  • no waste Ilove IT

  • try to speak a little bit slower so we can understand what you are saying

  • Great video, out of curiosity, how is hunting in the UK? Im from the US and you don't here a lot about hunting on your side of the pond.

  • Hunting is pretty damm good over here, but very few people do it though. Gun laws V tight but bolt actions are still legal but the govis trying to squeeze us out slowly, now of intro a test, squee out gun clubs, anti-all-gun press and public, fuckin right wet public, ammo v expensive to buy and re-load ($60 for 20 rnds), anti-countryside gov (esp at the mo).

  • But, there is more deer here then there has been for at least 12k years and 6 ssp to stalk, plenty of fox shooting, some boar shooting, driven phesant shooting, you more and more have to pay tho!

  • @srb04f see bith comments!

  • thanks mate i got one right now I was about to spend 150 on processing ill call my processor right now and tell him never mind thanks again

  • Learned a lot guys! Been hunting for over 40 years! Learned some things that I'm gonna try this season! Thanks!

  • my dear ol dad was a good butcher you give him any carcass he'd have all the cuts u cud think of

  • very interesting. never seen how it wos really done in my life.

  • Looks good.. i wana eat it!

  • idk y i watch this

  • Great Vid thanks for sharing

  • Best vidio I've ever seen. Many thanks

  • Cleaned the meat off that animal like a Piranha.

  • you even cut out the blood shot part of the ribs??

  • do you realise insted of throwing the rib cage out you culd have split inbetween the ribs cut off the top ribs and had the lolliwe pop things.

  • can anyone tell me how much time i would have if i did this outdoors/ in the forest before the meat turns bad?

of course i would not take up so much time or be so precise , i would do all that as soon as i got home.

  • You want to at least field dress the deer in the woods after the kill. Keep the hear and liver, they're good. You can carve the deer when ya get home, but def field dress in the woods. Drain the blood and other fluids.

  • wot do you think about hunting deer dogs

  • I am a countryman and have no moral objection. But the fact is it is illegal, and I would not do anything to compromise my FAC. Simple as that.

  • he makes it look so easy

  • damn, you didn't waste a bit

  • your knife is razor.

  • i like to leave a little fat on, makes it juicier.

  • Pure talent. Amazing work.

  • I prefer a chainsaw.

  • Great Video! Very Informative. He definitly knows what he is doing. Alot better than some of the video's that are out there. He is a true professional.
