As a teenager growing up in Liverpool in the sixties I was surrounded by the merseysound, regardless Dusty in my view was the most talented singer of them all. She had the most beautiful voice, she is gone now and the world will never know another like her.

My Granddaughter is learning this tune on her clarinet at school! knew it as soon as I heard it, and I saw The Springfields at a concert in the 60's but think Dusty had left by then.

saw them perform this at the Bradford Alhambra in about 62/63 i was just seven and was taken by my parents , i loved this song for years after that
