Zander is one of the greatest rock singers ever and is eternally underrated. I'm gonna see the Trick on the 27th in Clive. Can't wait, but I'm bummed that Bun E. isn't going to be there. RRHOF is as worthless as radio. Look at how long it took them to get McCartney in there. That should tell you everything.

It's HILARIOUS ! The evil look Robyn Zander gives Jon Brant (Tom Petersson Wannabee) when he sounds like crap on backing vocals. I was and still am SO glad when Petersson rejoined the Cheap Trick Line Up. Sadly, Bun Carlos no longer tours with them as his side project is in full bloom. Yay !

Hollywood and NY and now even Nashville wouldn't recognize a great talent unless it came to them wrapped in millions of one hundred dollar bills.

i saw them in like 1978- they were the loudest band ever i'd ever seen (and totally fukkin killer). i couldnt hear for days! only surpassed by Dinosaur Jr. at the Sun Club in Tempe or My Bloody Valentine at Slim's in SF- which was undoubtably the loudest show i've been at

@inputmodule Yeah, I saw them in '85 at the Cental Washington Fair, and I could feel my hearing permanently shift...(weird feeling man!)...they were jet engine loud...of course I was up front..The ONLY other bands that compared to Trick's loudness was when I saw HUSKER DUE in '87 and SOUNDGARDEN in '94....

"Jet Engine Loud" - hilarious! It's true though; you wouldn't think it, but CT is a loud band. I saw them in Little Rock in 1979 when I was a kid and I remember reading a review in the paper the next day, and the reviewer said the concert was so loud that catfish were jumping out of the Buffalo River. That was my first concert and I'll never forget it. LOVE Cheap Trick.
