  • Were do you get the parts?

  • @downing76 Some you have to get right from Argo, but others like bearings, Seals, Chains, ect can be purchased from places like BC Bearing, Auto Marine, Northern Metalic.

  • @MrMrtiki

I am just going to switch from the standard seals to the HDI brngs and seals (they will fit a Conquest). I will try that out first, before trying out another system. Will send you a PM.

  • Thanks for the vid, I've been looking at the box of bearings and new chains for my vanguard for months, and can't get motivated to tear it down. I only bought the outer bearings, are the inners usually worn? I've been thinking i'd better get them while i'm at it..

  • Getting started is the hardest part sometimes ;-)

I would suggest that your inner brngs are fine, but you should still check them. I can usually get about 3 times longer on inner brngs, than outer brngs.

  • Great information!! I didn't realize how simple the Argo was to work on. Thanks!

  • Hey Rock,

Simple to work on, when the planets are properly aligned, and if you can hold your tongue the right way ;-)

  • Nice work!!! Thanks for taking the time to make the vid.

  • Rock Doctor you make it all look so easy. That would be an all day job on my Max!
