@harmonicaman54 Mazzy Star covered two of MM's songs, "I'm Sailin' " & "Bake My Biscuit". Aside from their psychedelic-tinged stuff, & melancholy "dream pop", Mazzy did a bunch of great "rootsy" songs,including fine ones of their own, with guitarist David Roback playing slide acoustic, & the incomparable Hope Sandoval singing. One of my faves among such Mazzy's performances is a song simply called "Blues".
