Do long/fake nails interfere with throwing? I personally find it uncomfortable to throw backhands with long nails.

You are right, but you will either get used to it, or find another way of throwing the disc to achieve the same spin. F.e. the helicopter throw. Use google to find out more about the "Helicopter Throw". Todd Brodeur has a whole lot of helpfull instruction videos online for any level freestyler (at ehowDOTcom)

Silicon spray is only making the surface of the disc smoother. Your 1 sec delay may last another few seconds longer with spray. So for the time being: keep delaying, with or without spray (or water).

MAIN THING: is the amount of spin on the disc. The faster it spins the longer the disc stays stable.

2 more TIPS:

- Start by keeping the DISC ABOVE YOUR HEAD while delaying, so you can SEE if your finger is in the CENTER!

- Disc stops instantly when it touches skin (too much friction)

@SheikhAltijdGezeikhh Dat ding op mijn vinger is op zich gewoon een stuk stevig plastic (acryl). Staar je echter niet blind op die plastic nagels. Bijna alle trucs die je ziet kunnen ook zonder kunststof nagels.

MINIMALE WRIJVING IS BELANGRIJKER!

1. Wij schuren onze schijven met schuurpapier (korrel 800 en dan 1200).

2. Als ie nat is blijft ie nog langer draaien. Wil je echt 'pro' gaan, dan spray je voor het spelen siliconenspray (=fietssmeermiddel) op je disc.

The only 'fix' in this video would be slow motion, but i assure you all tricks are performed for real.

Teeth spin is actually not so very hard to do, but a lot of freestylers prefer not to do it because it can do harm to the teeth (When a grain of sand is embedded in the plastic)

Also there are a lot of instructional clips on youtube made by Todd Brodeur.

OK so if you took your best moves and had only three seconds to make a throw to an opponent seperated from you by a min of eight feet and had to make that person miss the disc could you do it? Could you make a catch from a guts player targeting your head, pass to a teammate and then set for defense?

Well then you would really enjoy the extreme disc sport TheSport 4X4. An International Open is scheduled for May 2011 and U R invited.

175 discs do the job, but we are prefering a 160 gram skystyler (by Discraft although Wham-o makes good freestyle discs as well)

hey im new at this anybody got any advice as to what lubricant i should buy ive thought bout krylon/sprayon silicone spray but i can only find it online not at a store

Krylon is top, but most other silicon sprays (or even water, f.e. at the beach) will do the work. The only goal for the use of lubricants is to make the surface of the disc as smooth as possible. Real freaks like me treat scratched discs with sandpaper (first grain 800 than 1200) before silicon is sprayed on;)

I really don't know the song other than that it was in the audioswap section of youtube. Youtube deleted the original song i had 'put on top' of the clip before because of copyrights > the original (/my copy) didn't have sound and was broadcasted in busses, subwaystations and shopping malls. Keep watching the clip since i remember that sometimes (but not while i'm watching it now) there is an advertisement with a link to buy this song (as long as i do not change it to another one;)
