Thank you for the comment, I have seen him in concert 7 times in the last 2 years, he is still going strong, you ought to check out his newer music also, it's awesome !!! Have a great day !!!
Gino, you made us feel different, in a better and unic way, your music and poetic words change a simply afternoon to a very special moment. My girlfriend and me are very thankful with you.
I think this is Gino's best song EVER!!! So incredibly mellow and romantic!! --- it brings back the best memories for me ! Please include Gino Vanelli in the title to your video. --- Thousands may miss it!
Gino was never given the recognition he so easily deserved. He is truly a maistro of the written word and composed lyric. Such a deep, reflective writer - full of passion, angst, emotion and love. I was lucky enough to see him perform in Dallas at McFarland Auditorium many years ago. I sat on the first row - I could have reached out and touched him. He was magnificent - a true artist, singer, composer, and gift to us all.
Gino clearly is connected to a much higher source on the spiritual realm as evidenced in display in his music. Most of us are thankful that he even bothered to share his music so openly in the first place. It is my understanding that because Gino is a master poet, this brings about the reason for how his songs seem to effect us all so profoundly. Thank you Gino as you have forever changed our lives through your music and lyrics.
@tj90292 You have made the most beautiful comments about Gino and his music...Your words say exactly the way we Gino fans feel......Thank you so much...
@tj90292 - couldn't have put it better myself! This album also started me off on the journey following Gino and, being a singer and musician myself, has influenced me enormously!
OMG!!!! Its been 17 years since i first heard this selection.I remember spending over 8 months trying to learn how to play the orchestral phrasing and match the keyboard chords played on this tune. No doubt that my interest was sparked by Vannelli's unbelievable and sophisticated song arrangement.
I saw Gino in concert on 87 in Barcelona. I will never forget this concert. I love his voice, brilliant singer. I look at me !!! almost fall on the floor...........xd
Always Gino!!! but where are you??? somebody knows???????
my girlfriend and I used to listen to this endlessly while I lived in Rwanda-Africa and she lived in Switzerland back in the mid seventies... she is now my wife for 33 years ever since then..thanks Gino, it worked ...

Thanks for postin Mary!! I remember my older brothers bringing this album home from the record shop in the 70s!! They couldn't remember the album this single came from so thanks again!
Are Gino and Joe Vannelli still working today. I never hear anything about them anymore. Gino was so cool on stage and in all his interviews. Too bad people of today don't know good music like this!
Oh boy, you are just like the rest of us "Gino Fans"....LOL...His music brings tears to my eyes very often. Have you been a long time fan? I am glad you enjoyed the video and the music...Have a great day .....
Oh yes, I do the same with this song, and have since 1975..."Storm At Sunup" is so very special to me. It was my first "Vannelli Heaven" experience, a place only a true Vannelli fan can understand. I am so glad you like the video !!! Yes, I will be in "Vannelli Heaven" again next Saturday in NY, at the Seneca Casino...It is a blessing in my life to be able to see him 2 times within 2 weeks..Thank you God !!
Isn't it great that Vannellians of our age have this singular experience in common, the unforgettable STORM AT SUN UP as our marvelous starting point in our passion for IL Maestro Vannelli's superb and indisputably innovative genius in Music and performance?
Please, dear Mary, bring forth and share with the sistas', back here, some of such Elysium to taste and relish in fruition!!! Thank you!!!
