AY did anyone notice that at the end of the credits & everything there is a Little 2Bit Arcade game of Crank? I didn't understand it's purpose other then that Chev dies in it. His heart Like grows & shrink rapidly then you see him fall. I thuoght that at the end of the film he survives but in the game he dies. Any one get that?

The entire movie takes place in a video game, but Statham's character doesn't realize this. A clue is that one of the bad guys "flickers" near the end of the movie.

The movie opens like a first person shooter and jumps right into the action (just like a game). Then towards the end, the bad guys begin acting strange, like they're not human. Finally after the credits roll, we get that 8 bit game animation. That is the final clue.
