  • This is great. In the past week, I've been creating a list of the theme songs of TV and some movies. I forgot Bananza - Sorry Little Joe.

  • when we as kids would watch these old westerns they all had some type of morality message and we had parents that taught us right and wrong and these shows helped. Now you can't have a show without good looking women tits and to see how many swear words you can put in one sentence. when these westerns went so did decency and morality and just plain manners. i feel sorry for todays kids they are the product of the dumbing of america. with what we spend on education why are our kids still stupid

  • Born 1957 Chicago. Dad was A hillbilly From Ohio Damn Right I watch westerns! Bullshit Sitcoms today can't scratch the surface of a Mules ass,I can't stand those bullshit CSI and other weak Crime shows how many csi shows can one watch. And as if everyone can see all the old shows are coming back. Baby Boomers Rule!We made an Atom bomb,

  • Guys. You are missing an exciting interview. We have the most rare, and exclusive Ponderosa video tour on the planet. If there is another video more rare, we will pay $50,000.00 to the holder.

  • I second the Wild, Wild West request.

  • Is wild wild west on here?

  • Fall, 1959: 27 prime time westerns on three networks! now at last i can catch up on all the ones I missed!

  • Thanks for compiling a bunch of TV history, those were the days=nothing like the good ole days of the cowboy shows.

  • @JimmyCarol100 i agree. So we ave started to post our Bonanza archives for free.

  • @eLasVegas Are you going to start from the beginning or just jump around? Also exactly what channel will I need to subscribe to so I'll be notified when you upload another episode. Thanx for doing what ur doing. Peace2Ya

  • Virginia City enjoying the silver load, there is so much silver, the banks of San Francisco are stacking silver bars in the bank windows; so much silver a new special rail line has been built to the mines: Bonanza, witnessed by Lorne Greene.

  • Have Gun Will Travel: Wire Paladin, San Francisco. A good western.

  • Those old American Westerns of the 1950s were something else. The writers out of the 1920s education and new Hollywood studio lots. Some of Hollywood was there around 1910, but in the 1920s is when we see it bloom with the big studio buildings, the original studio lots would look like frontier towns. Those people of the turn of the century taught, educated, and funded the 1950s westerns: Good American stuff.

  • You know your over the Hill when you can remember all these westerns and i do.

  • @wgr88 so do i, my friend, so you're not alone. and i STILL love watching them and singing the themes to them as well. take care.

  • SUPER!

  • Mistyped meant Bat Masterton

  • As far as I remember we didn’t get Paladin in England. Must buy the DVDs. Gene Roddenberry wrote some of the episodes. We also missed out on Bat Basterton (played by Gene Barry).

  • Sugarfoot, Sugarfoot, easy lopin' sadde ropin' Sugarfoot.......... okay, that's all the words I remember. Thanks for posting.

  • I totally love the TV series " Cheyenne". It is soo good. I love it! Plus "Who knew that Clint Walker could sing?" I sure didn't know that. He sure can sing really great!

  • It's funny what sticks in the mind. I remember an episode of Wagon Train with guest star Jock ( The Range Rider) Mahoney as a boxer with "the fastest fist in the west". Great stuff!

  • I love this, Paladin takes me back oh, how our country was something so much better then before the hateful left seized power!

  • tv today is indeed a wasteland-no wonder kids are so dumb now--america and entertainment has indeed dumbed down--pathetic greedy idiots concerned only with profits and not quality- are running the airwaves-they won't listen to us ordinary folk

  • A treat. Thanks hbwilling

  • I wish someone would post the Sugarfoot theme. It's one of my favorites. But great video anyway. First time I've ever heard the entire Paladin theme. Thanks kindly.

  • to Bearstar1: i was raised on all the 50s tv westerns--and i also wish they would bring them back--put them on TVland or something-I HATE ANDY GRIFFITH-and-i am sick of gay ass tv nowadays--who the hell wants to see gay ass guys swishing around their asses on American idol--and kids today are indeed wussies and BRAIN DEAD--give me PALADIN and CHEYNNE ANYDAY!

  • WHERE was the longest running western of all time? In fact the longest running drama of all time....GUNSMOKE?

  • Thank heaven for DVD players. All this stuff is coming out on DVD.

  • Watched and loved every one of these as a kid. Many of them still look good today, like Rawhide, The Rifleman and Have Gun will Travel. Now all we have are fools humiliating themselves on dumbass reality shows.

  • You hit the nail on the head there mate...bring back all the oldies .....

  • You got that right.

However, is it necessary for the poster below to make sexist comments? I mean would he call a man "fat"?

  • William Conrad was pretty fat, too. That's why we remember James Arness as Matt Dillon. Conrad played Marshal Dillon on the radio, but he was too fat for a TV western. At least William Conrad had a pleasant voice and manner, unlike Roseanne's nasal, "I'm always right" hollering all the time.

  • Oh, quite contraire ! Now it's that Fat disgusting Roseann Barr 24/7 !!! They ought to just rename the damn channel to Roseann TV. I can't stand that irritating fat ugly bitch ! God, I HATE HER AND THAT STUPID PATHETIC SHOW !!!

  • People gather round and witness the Highway Man, check out my video!:D

  • Does anyone have the theme of the Western series The Outlaws??

  • Be careful: "STUPID IDIOTIC BRAINLESS NO SENSE SITCOMS " my mother thought the same thing of the Beverly Hillbillies  But, now in my mid-fifties I can see why she said that. However, the westerns were more serious. I did find some of Sugarfoot episodes funny, though.

  • Like others my age I grew up with these shows.

And like others I wouldn't give a nickel for what's on TV today.

    Don't even watch it anymore.

    Thanks for the vid.

  • Thanks for some great memories!

  • I to was raised on these westerns, great signature tunes and we played cowboys as kids, but we didnt go killing people then try to blame TV!! the film The Christmas Story reminds me of my childhood i wanted a rifle for christmas, look at the film if you get chance

  • Sure, us Baby Boomers of the 50's,60's,& 70's had to endure with Black & White TV,most of the shows, BUT I feel that we had a better quality of programming to watch those days gone by that what the kids nowdays have to watch, i.e. All of those STUPID IDIOTIC BRAINLESS NO SENSE SITCOMS that are nothing but spinoffs and copycats of each other. Give me the Westerns of the 50's,60's,&70's ANYDAY OVER THE SHIT THAT IS ON NETWORK TV THESE DAYS !!!! NO WONDER THE KIDS NOWDAYS ARE ALL BRAINDEAD !!!!!!!

  • I agree with Bear. I'll take the westerns any time. That was TV at its finest. I thought when they put the series Magnificent Seven on TV, it would start a new era of westerns. Not !!! I loved the show, especially Michael Biehn. *sigh* Thanks to all who put those western themes on here. You Rock

  • @BearStar1

You're shows were brainless too, you can't count the mistakes made on television in those days. At least our shows attempt at making us use our intellect.

  • @tommynotchelsea NO THEY WERE NOT, when compared to the Stupid Idiotic lame CopyCat SitComs that YOU KIDS watch nowsday! They, the Shows of the 50's,60's.70's, & 80's at least had storylines that made sense and there is NOTHING " intellect " about the Stupid pathetic lame SitComs that they air nowdays! If YOU think so, THEN YOU ARE A BRAINDEAD IDIOT, and probably one of those Stupid " Gamers "

  • @BearStar1 couldnt agree more,,perfect description of modern tv,look how well us 50s kids turned out? after watching the 50s and 60s cowboy shows, its just a shame we have to look to youtube to get our fix,,all the classic westerns from 57 to 1975 should be put out on tv stations around the world,,,it may just enlighten the modern kids and show them what they have missed,,,bit like the music hey;?

  • Add RawHide, and the Virginia to my previous list !

  • You are right about that. I'm so sick and tired of TV Land channel airing the same old shows 24/7, 365 days a year. Sure wish like hell that THEY would air some of the old western series, like Cheyenne,Bronco,Colt 45, The Rebel,Texas John Slaughter,The Lawman,The Dakotas,Laramie,Wagon Train,High Chaparel,The Big Valley,The Rifleman,Sundance, Have Gun Will Travel, ect;ect;ect; THESE were the Westerns That I was Raised On and LOVED ! Bring Them Back TV Land !!!

  • These shows were my brother's & I's favorite childhood TV Westerns that WE grew up watching and play acting out in the back pastures as kids ! Thanks for the Memories !

Wish the TV Land Channel would air all of these great westerns !

  • Your right. Tv land is such a waste of time. They could put these shows on. But that would cut into andy griffith that is on 24 hours a day...

  • bring them back

  • Good collection - thanks!

  • One of the greatest tv westerns

  • THANKS SO MUCH!!!
