• You folks need to back away from the Kool-aid stand. If you want to see how the Kucinich plan works in real life take a look at just about any on the third world countries. No oil, nukes, or coal lol. Your a bunch of hypocrites how many of you are willing to get off the grid for good. Remember you cant build a fire too cook or sterilize your water, remember smoke bad. Hatti most African nations compare with some developed countries USA France Canada UK who use these forms of energy.

  • typical neocon talk tough but we all know you're just a big pussy

  • I just wrote a political song about peace for Kucinich to raise awareness...the video is on my page...it's called, "Strength Through Peace". Please tell me what you think. :) ~Alex

  • Way to talk about the Sustainable GREEN energy and not Coal. I wish you would talk more about how you plan to do this though! Kucinich, if you can't be a front runner, you should still try an attract a large support base for your ideas and maybe if the sleazy politicians see how voting people rally around your policies they'll adopt some of your policies and enact real changes that would help us, the common people and the next generation, instead of the wallets of the higher ups!

  • Yay for Kucinich!

  • Kucinich - so incredibly electable! He's got my vote. We need a president who will restore dignity and respect for America in the world.

  • WGA? Windows Genuine Advantage?? *hiss!*

But in all seriousnes, "Bravo!" Good luck. I agree with your sentiment and I would like to think that I can look forward to seeing you execute this if you get elected.

  • Hahaha.

  • Dennis Kucinich has got to be one of the last honest politicians left in this country. It doesn't seem very likely that he would actually win, he doesn't have the funds or the support, but it would be a great thing for this country if he did.

  • Move away from nuclear? Nuclear power is cheap and safe. "Green" energy would hurt our economy and unjustly regulate private industry.

  • Nucleat energy is safe? Where do you get your facts?

  • thats what they try to have us think. also I rather have no job the no planet full of nuclear waste or green house gas. but I don't think it will be bad for the economy because instead of put money in to what I call waste energy, the money will be going towards something else a put job in other places.

  • Boo fucking hoo for private industry. I like the idea of an eco system that hasn't degenerated into nothing, but maybe thats because I'm not a capitalist jackass.

  • i hope you win.

  • finally, a human being is running for president.

  • awesome! honestly i hope kucinich wins!

  • Yes, yes and triple yes. Around my house we have lowered the cost of electricity by using the terrapass in which my house hold (that houses over 4 people) only pay about $60 which calculates to releasing less CO2 emissions than the average south Floridians. Going green in the long run is actually cheaper than wasting.

  • mother nature is showing her wrath by global warming. hello wake up use s/e. have a dept dedicated to making all autos adaptable to solar energy.we have little calulators we spend more time on long ago s/b autos. i think what dennis is thinking about is good but there is always a price to pay. the countries would retaliate that we depend on for oil. there goes our freedom, but mother nature is more important and the generations to come

  • classic14rider. Nuclear energy is the biggest waste of time and energy ever. It has never put a single extra kilowatt online. It is wasteful upfront and on the back end and dangerous at every step in between. Just how the energy people want it. Go Green all the way.

  • The reason the US nuclear plants produced waste is because we seperate nuclear energy from other applications that require nuclear material and we don't reprocess nuclear fuel. The French have a strong reprocessing program and have minimized the waste that is left over. We should do the same.

  • Ending subsidies for the petrolium industry is a good idea, but opposing nuclear energy is not such a good idea. It is the only way we can meet our energy needs, reduce energy costs, and reduce CO2s in the atmosphere.

  • to say that nuclear energy is the only way to meet our energy needs is naive and damning. no matter how well we conserve, reprocess, and use nuclear energy, it will always be harmful. nuclear waste (no matter how minute) is inevitable and nuclear power is dangerous. advancement towards completely clean and renewable energy is is the best route for our country and the environment.

  • WGA is a great idea, would really create long-term benefits for the entire country!

    Go Dennis Go!

  • Bulk purchases by the government can lower the cost rather quickly.

  • I agree Dennis! I have been trying to get solar power for my house, but it is still so costly! ($25,000+!!) I am hoping that the prices will come down soon as I do get sunshine on an average of 340 per year! :-)

    Kucinich '08!!

  • Have you tried the terrapass?

It's no solar power but it still lowers the CO2 emissions by a whole lot.

Go to terrapass (dot) com for information.
