Good intentions, BUT will it help in the long run? I'd rather aim higher: Their government. We can't send real help to them, because of their government. Can Jesus change the African governments? xD
I thought like this when I was a kid. First they took my tonsils out. because a preacher told my parents I was touched by evil and removing them would make me stop talking like that. Then they took me to a priest.he beat me and my parents beat me. Until I did not have those thoughts anymore. Ahhh ! Different times. The 50s what a time to grow up. Compassion was beat out of us. wonder was stolen from us. Imagination was outlawed. NO time to be a kid back then. had to grow up and go to war.

hey good job little girl bless you for helping people and changing this world thanks very much god bless you you will have a great life for heping people
Its a tragedy that the empathy of a little girl who genuinely cares about people she has never met is being shamelessly reinterpreted for the purposes of pushing a religious agenda.
God bless her heart;i pray she'll grow up to be a wonderful woman of God, and God should bless her with a wonderful husband and beautiful childen just like she is.
with all the money Americans give to people around the world you'd think they'd be living good or at least ok by now, in my best Ricky Racardo voice: "Ohhh lucyyy, somethings not rite here."
No offense taken, and thank you, very much. And I assure you there are nice nonbelievers, though the Internet might not be the easiest place to find them. :)
It's uplifting that you didn't stick me into the stereotype. I'm still impressed with this little girl. That's all I want to see people as. Happy and kind.
This is a double-edge sword. Sure, it's wonderful that the little girl is already compassionate of others, and that they are helping people in Africa. But it should be done simply BECAUSE IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO, WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED. No sneaking in of an ADVERTISEMENT trying to brainwash people about MYSTICISM.
And the good that is being done here is counterbalanced by the HARM done by inducing people to believe in religious nonsense, or to reinforce it already there.
@tncdel ...the Word of God is indeed a two-edged sword...for Hebrews 4:12 says - "The Word of God is a two-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; and it is a discerner of the thoughts and motives of the heart."
It is amazing that this little girl gets it, that they need Jesus, and you do not.
@GaryLyons, yes, when I was 4 years old too, I also believed in God and Santa Claus. But when I grew up I shed my childhood beliefs. And I have enough sense now to realize that I had been brainwashed against my will when I was too young to know better. Some people never learn the truth even when they grow up, others do.
P.S. Many people who aren't into mysticism have good hearts. In fact, one who does good for its own sake, and not because they expect "an eternal reward" or "fear hell" is operating on a higher moral plain than those who do it for those reasons.
@tncdel - just because it is your belief that there is no god does not mean you have the right to ridicule or judge those who believe. Especially in the context of something so positive and uplifting. People are celebrating this little girl's faith and spirit, and you want to spread a negative message? Take a good look at yourself, buddy.. (I am an atheist, by the way)
@thebarnz1983, mysticism is a "belief." Someone who doesn't believe in it doesn't have a belief. So it is not my "belief" that there is no God. And I actually don't consider myself an "atheist." For that intrinsically implies an acknowledgment of God's existence. And the point I made is that children are VICTIMIZED by mystics, who brainwash them before they are old enough to know better and choose for themselves voluntarily. That's wrong. For it burdens the kid with emotional baggage.
@MasterAdam100 ....water alone will not help these people, only Jesus Christ will truly help these people....this little girl knows this, is it ashame you do not.
apparantly all the work that kid did was attributed to jesus. surely even a 4 year old cant take credit in this day and age for doing something on their own. We need jesus to also help.
i used to be generous to the poor people... but i don't see anything that gets back to me... so i stopped helping for some time... a long time maybe.... is this bad for me?
God believes in you. He loves you so much that He was willing to die in your place to forgive you of your sins. It is NOT about some 'religion' but a personal relationship with the creator. If you seek Him you will find Him. God bless you and yours.
i mean this in no offense at all....i believe you are the nicest person that doesnt believe in God ive ever seen in my life, if i could shake your hand right now i would!
@Skidonti Yes a kind heart and a future leader who hopefully will not give up until she makes this world a better one. BTW by reading your comment I think you are a nice person too and respectfully I think there is more of God inside you than you think. Have a nice day!

Jesus is a sham. god damn these kids, they dont even have there own mind anymore. I feel sorry for her , poor girl. deluded by christianity, the religion that is forced upon everything, goddamn you christians destroying cultures!!!!!
@MoroccanSword God will Judge Rightfully, for his Judgement is Righteous!
"whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea" (Mt 18:6; cf. Mk 9:42; Lk 17:2). Matthew's Gospel also tells us, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven" (18:10).
@MoroccanSword, I did not come here to trouble you, but to help you understand about the law. I am aware of the troubles in the USA as well as the whole world. This is all due to the result of Sin. Sin, Death were all bought about since the first disobedient against God by Adam and Eve. Jesus Christ the reedemer and Savior of this sin has come to die for yours, mines, and to all who accepts him. He only ask to accept this free gift, and love one another. Sorry if this troubles you again.
the law is for the lawless, I am under grace and mercy of the lord. Believe in the one who he has sent, the lord Jesus Christ, his begotton Son. Obey his commandments that he have ask of us to follow, for those who don't obey them, are still under the law.
1 Timothy 1:9 We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,
I am 100 percent pro-life, anti-abortion. And have written letters to my government about this issue. I have never had an abortion, and I tell others not to have an abortion. Obviously you have not watched any of my videos. God bless, I wish you the best. I will not respond to you again.
No, I never said anything about getting rid of police officers. They are absolutely needed. You are misunderstanding me. What I am saying is that BOTH are necessary. The people who will not change their hearts still need to be policed, but the law alone will not change their hearts. Obviously this conversation is not going to accomplish much. Our backgrounds and foundational beliefs are too different. I wish you the best.
Then you have not listened to many Christian pastors.
One reason though that you may not be seeing what you want to in Christians, is because we are focused on changing people's hearts towards God and one another, not on changing the law. A change of law will not stop the evil that lives in the heart.
Christian pastors are not silent. They are in the media, in churches, in communities, on websites such as youtube, constantly the message is going out. But like a radio station constantly sending out a signal, only those who are tuned into that frequency hear it clearly.
Priests are Catholic, not Christian. There is a difference. Catholicism is based on a system of sacrement and ritual that one has to go through in order to be acceptable to God. Christians believe that there is nothing we can do to make ourselves acceptable to God. We must repent of our sin and trust in Jesus Christ. It is His righteousness, His sacrifice, that makes us acceptable to God. Not our own.
Christians are deeply saddened by what happens to children these days.
Please do not think that just because something happens in a western country means that it is Christian, or that Christians condone it. We live in a democracy, the majority rules, and the majority of Canadians are NOT Christians. I don't condone that at all, I do not watch or participate in anything like that.
No. They CLAIM to be Christian, but are not. Read the book of 1 John in the Bible. Anyone who claims to be a Christian, but does such things, is a liar. Continuing to live in sin is NOT allowed.
Wow- how wonderful. Such an amazing little girl! I tell you what, Jesus did tell his disciples not to turn away the children "for such is the kingdom of God". That is where I find that meaning here.

I always thought would I be a muslim if I have different parents, or wouldnot my religion be shaky if I had chance to choose it. May be we wouldnot be that bias about our religion and be more open to talk and grow.
I always feel sorry for the children born into a family or society where they're trained to believe or think a certain way. Partly how the Christian religion stays alive, eh? If the parents didn't push the Bible onto their children from young ages on, then there would be less Christians today, which can actually be accounted towards most any religion actually.
what a precious child, she is only four and doing wonderful things, I cannot wait to see what she is capable of when she gets older. Proud of you baby girl!!!!!

If the parents didn't push the Bible onto their children from young ages on, then there would be less Christians today, which can actually be accounted towards most any religion actually.

Is this what Christ meant when he said, "let the little children come unto Me and forbid them not for such is the Kingdom of God"?
