  • AAAW. His voice is so perfect! Why does he think he can't sing?!

  • Can I just say.... Holy shit. I too call bullshit out on him. "Oh, no. I can't sing" my ass.

  • why have i never heard of this before its awesome! jimmy page is talented in everything musically he does! :)

  • check out jimmy's website on Feb 23 2012, jimmy played all the instruments and sang (except drums; Bobby Graham did that).

  • @rahulrata sorry he played *most of the instruments

  • Mmmm love it!!

  • Oh Jimmy <3

  • Is it really Jimmy singing? :O

  • @LizyPage Oh, sure! :)

  • @ElyGasp Then it just became one of my favorite songs ever... :) Thank you!

  • @LizyPage Oh Yes! I have the 45rpm I bought in 1965..still like new ..it is definitely Jimmy singing.. and playing all the instruments, except the drums. Genius!

  • Omg I expected this to be shitty because he always talks about how he can't sing but jesus alsjdhbdkallaksjsla this is amazing

  • Thanx for posting this video &song! Jimmy = God

  • i am dead omg askldjasldlçkfrj23590ngs x sdlvnsrgn

  • amazing voice!!

  • i love this

  • Things were different then. Before the Yardbirds, Page worked as a sessions musician, for the Kinks as well as many other bands, which meant he got a paycheck but very little credit for his work, so I'm sure he helped to write the song. Also, from what I understand, people were "borrowing" eachothers' work right and left back then and nobody gave it a second thought; we're far more anal retentive about it now.

  • Is that his voice? I can't beleive it.

  • YES, this rocks!

  • With a better producer (and maybe manager) Jimmy Page could've made it as a solo artist with this effort. Not bad at all and better than anything Herman's Hermits did.

  • OH LAWD I love this! Jimmy is so awesome. And he's so humble lol in a 1974 interview with Creem Magazine he said, "There's nothing to be said for that record except it was very tongue-in-cheek at the time. I played all the instruments on it except for the drums and sang on it too, which is quite, uh...unique. 'She Just Satisfies,' that's what it was called. It's better forgotten."

  • @shmadsta Thank you so much for sharing this.. I'm so glad you did.. cause many people don't believe it's Jimmy singing. If you have a link to that interview, please please would you give it to me.... I would love to read it.. thanks.. Jimmy's fans are the coolest!!

  • I can't even tell if this song is good or not. To be honest, I listen to it just because Jimmy's voice is ... so... and he hardly ever speaks or sings. Shame on me, I guess...

  • I'm just satisfies. <3

  • daily bread

  • Does anyone realize that Jimmy ripped off The Kinks' "Revenge" for this song? He didn't write this song...he stole it.

  • @Markinks1 Yeh, his the master of stealing songs.

  • @Markinks1 He added the lyrics.

  • @Markinks1 He stole a lot of songs. Whole Lotta Love was just a rip off of Muddy Water's "You Need Love" and Black Mountain Side is a rip off of Bert Jansch's Black Water Side. The 1st Zeppelin album only has 3 originals which are Good Times Bad Times, Your Time Is Gonna Come, and Communication Breakdown. He gets a lot of shit for it but he's not the only artist to "borrow" music from other artists, he just the only one to claim he wrote it himself. lol But he's still a rock ledgend.

  • @ChrisLmusic96 It's a tradition dating back to the troubadors!

  • @Markinks1 Exactly! But Jimmy just gets way to much shit then he deserves for it. It's like when Lennon said the Beatles were bigger than Jesus which was a HUGE misinterpretation.

  • @Markinks1 Check the composer credit on "Revenge"....

  • @moogyboy6 The "Page" in "Davies-Page" is Larry Page, The Kinks' manager. It wasn't Jimmy Page.

  • @Markinks1 No kidding? Wow, and all these years I thought...I stand corrected. *sheepish*

  • @moogyboy6 Back then, managers and producers loved to get included in the credits because it meant even more money for them. In Larry Page's case, he may have actually helped write the song because, unlike a lot of managers, he was a minor pop star before he became a manager, so he had some experience with music. The stars were cheated out of so much money until the '70s and '80s...their managers and publishers got most of the money!

  • God, I would've never expected a singing voice like that from him! He speaks so softly.

  • This sounds like the kinks :P

Is this the only song Jimmy Page sung?

  • Hell, I may do a remake as a tribute to Jimmy...I like the song, and I think I could modernize it a bit and do it the justice it should have gotten when he originally wrote and performed the song.

    BigBobHev

  • Shy my arse...anyone whom can get in front of thousands of people and perform (any instrument or vocals) is definitely NOT SHY; and, he has sung back-ups on many Zeppelin tunes. What would be the difference when you talk about shyness?

    BigBobHev

  • I do not know why Jimmy did not have more confidence in his own voice, and while I understand WHY Led Zeppelin felt they couldn't continue after Bonzo's Demise, Jimmy should have done some solo work, words, lyrics, and all, insyead of trying to re-create Zeppelin with White Snake. Hell, I am a VERY good guitarist,(I have been playing 30 years) and would be proud to play with someone whom sounded as good as Jimmy even if he were completely unknown.

    BigBobHev

  • this song is so great aw

  • THE VOICE OF GOD!!!!

  • Good is good and good this is. I think Jimmy lifted some of the talent that the rest of us were supposed to get.

  • Thats riff is SO 60’s!!!

  • Sweet baby, nice voice...

  • He can sing and play the harmonica too. DAMN!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT.

I ALWAYS SAID HE COULD NEVER SING.

    I was proven wrong

  • it might get loud quote from jimmy: "Oh no, I can't sing"

    I CALL BULLSHIT JIMMY!

  • Awwww. Shy boy can sing. <3

  • I love this song. I can't believe this is Jimmy. I don't know why he didn't sing more in Zeppelin.Although he did sing some background vocals in the group.

  • Rhythm guitar sounds like a Gretsch.

  • This is Jimmy singing?!?

  • I know this is him. Just doesn't sound like Jimmy at all!

  • I think I'm in love! <3

  • This makes me love Pagey more!

  • is this really jimmy page singing?! :D

  • Wow, he can actually sing. I always thought he was a soft-spoken guy who couldn't sing, but this is pleasant surprise. He could have easily fronted a band himself (although we're all glad that he met Robert).

  • this is a cool tune, but I for one am glad he stuck with the guitar and met robert plant

  • His voice is amazing... *girl sigh* :D

  • wait is it really jimmy singing???

  • @cheezbeenzriz yeah!

  • cant buy this anywhere to difficult shame

  • I am now a billion times more in love with Jimmy :). This just adds to the obsession...

  • Love his voice, fucking amazing, why, why, why Jimmy did you not sing more?????Please???

  • similar rif to White Stripes 'girl , you have no faith in medicine "

  • I absolutely LOVE this.

  • JIMMY such a good voice......i LOVE all that is JIMMY PAGE...

  • just raping the replay button, this song fucking rocks

  • Now u know who played the solo on the Kink's U really Got Me and All of the Day and All of the Nite

  • JP made this by putting his own vocals on an unreleased Kinks instrumental called "Revenge," on which he'd sessioned.

  • @WhiteCamry Hardly unreleased. "Revenge" is on the Kinks Size album.

  • @yourtubesteak ,

    My mistake. Thanks!

  • @WhiteCamry Such a cool guitar riff.

  • That is some godly shit right there. He must have had the pick of destiny for quite some time indeed.

  • @ElyGasp Where did you get this?

  • holy crap, this rocks.

  • this makes me incredibly happy you dont even know. his voice is beautiful. ugh, it makes me sad that he wasnt comfortable singing more.

  • I want this to be on itunes!

To bad it isn't I love this so much!!!

  • OMG! Where did you get the picture at 0:17? That's good camera shot right there.

  • God I love his voice! It's amazing! I don't think he sang much though because he's shy.

  • sounds a lot like The Kinks... good tune though.

  • Can someone transcribe the lyrics? I'm spanish and I have problems with some parts. I can hear this, but I think it's no well at all. "And every evening ¿when I go well? she's at the door she makes me feel so good the way she loves me so, so good... So don't you better ¿stay with for away? she's my babe, he'd better ¿hear? what I say Good good loving, she ¿keeps?/¿gives? me ¿close?/¿'cause? to know, oh oh i'm gonna take her every ¿? I go." Thank you
