    awesome work,

of course not everything sounds good as the original but Im sure thats how good a man possible can push it!

I just bought a g-harp to play along heart of gold with my guitar. :) 1/100 of your skill would be eanough to play this I guess :)

of these instruments is yet to be discovered.

  • Thanks alot. To think I'd be able to inspire

you or anyone else is a great feeling. Hope you can learn further. For sure these

  • WOW Dude im trying to learn this and your video just helped me. Thanks Man

  • Thanks for that. Hope you're successful

    with it.

    Dave

  • amazing! i just bought a harmonica about four days ago.

  • Thanks alot. Good luck with that new

    harmonica.

    Dave

  • o and i was wondering how do you play just one note for me its hard is there a technique?

  • Some use the pucker technique. Like a

whistle blow. I always play with the tongue

block method. put the tongue directly on

the holes. You block a couple of holes

allowing one hole to the right side to sound. Takes practice to do it, but is the

best method to produce a good clean note.

    Bye, Dave

  • you have an amazing memory man!

    what brand harp?

  • Thanks. Wish my memory was that good

in other areas. I'm playing a Suzuki SC56.

Love the quality and sound of this harmonica.

    Cheers,

    Dave

  • Great Harpin' 5 stars for this one... Keep emcoming !

  • Hi. Great hearing from you again. Thanks for

the positive comment. I will focus on putting

more stuff out there. Been slacking off I guess.

    Bye now, Dave

  • Que c'est beau à entendre...

  • Thanks alot for your encouraging words. Glad

    you enjoyed this music

  • Hi Dave, I really liked this one. Looks and sounds technically hard to play. I liked that little vibrato at 1:46 I am trying to get that vibrato sound happening and thats why I noticed it. Thanks for sharing this momment and thanks also for your comment on my playing on Hallelujah.

I also appreciated Danny boy. I also have been playing this song and using the Eric Clapton version as backing. The Eric Clapton version can be be found on YouTube.

    Cheers Warren.

  • Hi. So glad you were able to check out my song. I'm very happy you liked it. Yes it was

tricky in many respects. The vibrato has taken

practice over time but I'm getting there. When

you play with hand vibrato for so long takes

a little re-adjusting. Keep working at it. I

thought your vibrato attempts in your song

Hallelujah were very good. Was great to hear

    your first posting.

    Take care, Dave

  • That was amazing! One of my favorite songs, I am very impressed with how it turned out.

  • Hi there. Thanks. I really couldn't ask for

any better reaction than what you've just

given me. Great to hear given how difficult it

was to work this song out. Makes me think that

maybe my efforts were worth it in the long run.

    Thanks again for such encouragement,

    Dave

  • Very nice playing of something that looks so difficult. It must be easy to miss notes especially because of the many moves between low and high holes. Congratulations with that training most other songs will seem easy to you! :-)

  • Hi. I do appreciate your comments. You're so

right about the movement between notes. Very

difficult. Between that and the timing it's

amazing I have any hair left. I might have to

borrow some of your head wear. Well it's all

worth it when you can put it together in the

    end.

    Take care, Dave

  • Take a bow; that was perfect! Amazing cover of the duet around 3:26.

  • I'm very inspired by such a comment. Nice to feel there is a positive impact to the songs I try to play. I noticed that you have quite a number of songs out on diatonic yourself. Many of them the same type of music I like myself. I have to ask if you've ever been to Yellow Pine Idaho's harmonica festival. Just that I was there this summer and thought you looked familiar. I met so many people and I could be wrong. Thanks again for listening, Dave
  • No, t'wasn't me.

  • Hí Dave

You don´t take the easys´t songs on Your music pulpet? I wunder how I chould manage with this song on one of my horns?

Shure is glad to hear Your videos, want more also, so don´t stop recording.

Thank´s for this great harmonica performance!

    See You!

    Johnny

  • Hello, Dave. I didn't know this beautiful music (forgive me), but I think you played it with great feeling and very very well. Your SOUND is great. I really enjoyed your graves on the first octave. Nice Rhapsody touched by you. Thank you for sharing it. It was an honor for me.

    MEMORIES OF BRAZIL!!!

    LEMBRANÇAS DO BRASIL!!!

  • DAVE Hello, congratulations for this difficult music to play and to remember, you always play with the same facilité.Une question, do you play in the ears, where you play music on a partition?

Congratulations again and good day .. Mick

  • Your comments are much appreciated. Very glad

you liked it. I play by the written music on

most songs. Of course, I try to memorize what

I play. The music I really like on CD or youtube I will just play along with by ear. I

think it's very helpful to be able to do both.

    Thanks, enjoy the weekend,

    Dave

  • ok thanks man. do u think you can tell me the notes to the intro before the lyrics

  • Thanks for the encouraging comments. Very

pleased that you liked my effort on the song.

I'll try putting more songs out there. Since

I was practicing so much during late spring

and summer for a harmonica festival, I neglected to post anything on youtube. Now,

maybe the dry spell is over.

Take care and many thanks for listening,

    Dave

  • Hi Dave,

Mayka and I just listened to your wonderful song and amazing playing again. CONGRATULATIONS.

We think you are a magician on Harmonica,

because you play all that variations in your song magnificent, and we are sure this song is very difficult to play as you told me before.

    Your timing is perfect.

We wish you a lot of success at making your harmonica music in the future.

We look forward to your next song and wish you all the best.

Have a nice Sunday, just relax now!

    Chris.

  • Dear friend Dave,

    GREAT GREAT GREAT !!

It's so good to see and especially to hear your wonderful rock opera of Queen.

Thanks very much for your amazing playing of this long musical piece.

You have to play a lot of variations, and you played them magnificent!!

Your back-ground music fits very good with your playing too.

5 stars for all your efforts ofcourse.

I hope it will not take such a long time before you will play another beautiful song for us this time.

    Greetings chris and Mayka.
