  • same happened to me. and I managed to stop the car in control. I owe my life to have my both hands on the steering wheel. I always did. and I always will.

  • i guess stuff like this catches you off guard. scary.

  • This happened to me a few years ago, except when my tire blew - I couldn't get out of traffic in time, and I got sideswiped by a Dodge Ram and hit in the side by a young woman in a Jaguar who had her kids the car with her! Luckily they were okay though. It's damn scary when cars are coming at you and you can't do anything about it - glad you and the other guy were alright. <3

  • Dude! I love your taste in music!

    "Do you wanna dance...?"

    Glad nobody was seriously hurt.

  • Well done on controlling that - you've won the brown trousers award.

  • glad your okay and that your car was thinking hey missed exit lets blew up a tire so we make it

wouldn't make thiss joke if it was worse

glad you survived and a good and save 2012 to you

  • I love this video, it gives me a sense of community and 'everyone is friends' feel when people pull over to help!

  • First video i have seen where people actually stop to help

  • 0:04 far too close the back of that truck for comfort ... I think this was combination of skill and luck that you managed to only hit 1 vehicle. I'd say luck mainly since you can't really prepare for these sort of things. If it was about a second later you'd have definatly been entering the road death statistics book.

  • New underpants needed !

  • god you was close to that crash barrier

  • Why I love Britain, no good person would drive on from a scene like that.

  • wow people actuly stopped to help :O

  • How was the van driver? Did it roll or just skid onto the verge?

  • damn you were lucky not to hit the barrier! that woulda fucked you up!

  • Glad your okay! Good job getting to the shoulder quickly and it was glad to see all those people stop and help

  • Sir,hav handle the situation very well, something like dis hapen 2me in Austria whilst on euro trip with my girl+my car, goin roun a bend (light rain)at 70-80mph car sudenly steped out from left rear, imediately my girl screamed as the car got 2 about 45 degree i stayed calm & counter steer'ed it & this time it step'ed out 2 the right & left again(aquaplaned) manage 2 control it & pulled in2 car park off the motorway, looked at the rear tires & rotation was wrong way round from tire shop Croatia.

  • Hey good video capture. I wouldn't have believed that a tyre blowout would have caused that. Well controlled too. What caused the van to roll? It doesn't seem to have made any contact with you. Also can I ask why you have a dashcam? I hope you and the occupants of the van were ok

  • Well done at getting youself out of the carriageway and onto the hard shoulder - so many would have abandoned it in lane one...

  • Just this morning, a woman spun her car out and headed oncoming straight towards me, but I have to say she controlled it, like the guy in the video, very well to avoid me and a row of trees.

  • reassuring to see how many people stopped to help

  • Nice bit of controlling. Probably that and a hint of luck, as well.

How did the van go over? probably though was going to collide and lost control.

  • Excellent Save!! A++++!

  • VERY well-controlled, I can't believe the ferocity that it went with- as said elsewhere you ARE lucky you didn't hit the reservation, I have to commend the quick thinking to get yourself into the hard shoulder in reverse as well!

What caused the van to overturn??

  • Wow that was very well controlled, and how you managed to smoothly park on the hard shoulder so quickly :O I bet your life flashed before your eyes when the tyre blew

  • woooah shit you were VERY LUCKY not to hit the central reservation

  • well done mate, you saved lives

  • @pretendaccount1 i know, what a prize tw@ eh? never mind, thats what i get

  • 10 / 10 for you, good sir.

  • The spooky thing for me is, this could have ended so differently (glad it did not), but the music, it kept playing. Thats really strange to think about. No matter the outcome the music would just keep playing. I find that rather surreal and terrifying. Genuinely glad you are OK bud.

  • van crashing at 0:07 right side...

  • Why do you keep spelling tire improperly?

  • @DRN0524 - This is the British way of spelling Tyre. We don't use the incorrect American way here in the UK.

  • @darrenmparr Ahh yes! Thank you for proving my point which you were too daft to discern. The faux superiority of the British disposition to Americans is astounding. Don't blame yourselves though, its not your faults that your monarchy controls - a very anti-American - British media; I too would hate Americans if I'd grown up in such cultural desolateness. Cheers!

  • @DRN0524 Get over yourself

  • @DRN0524 The monarchy doesn't control anything, they have no real power. Their only purpose is in a ceremonial/ambassadorial capacity. No it's business men in suits (like Rupert Murdoch) who control our media and regularly abuse this control. Look up the News of the World phone hacking scandal in which people including royals and murder victims had their phones hacked to get the scoop on stories etc.

  • @DRN0524 You are a dickhead! Is that spelling improper?

  • @DRN0524 tire means to be fatigued, to run out of steam

tyre on the other hand is a rubber thing you wrap round a wheel

there is no faux superiority, its all well justifed

and incedentally, the word you were looking for was incorrectly not improperly

but then you would know best with that amazing education system of yours

  • @utrapzab tyre and tire are the US and USA spellin, just sayin.

  • @bigerch85 you mean the UK and the US

  • @bigerch85 What's the difference between the United States and the United States of America?

  • Also, you did an excellent job of handling the car as it span out, very well done!

  • Holy shit that was nasty. This is one of the reasons why you should never over inflate your tyres and you must always physically inspect them every now and then to spot excessive wear, forming bulges and any other damage. This should be done least every time you check their pressures. Very lucky escape there, I hope you, yours and everyone else is okay.

  • Did you crash? because i waw something rolling at 0:06

  • ''Capital''',,,, screech

  • nicely done, that could have been a lot worse, good driving, glad pretty much everyone ok, was the van driver ok? did you hit him or he just panic and decide to flip?

  • your very very lucky that off ramp was there or would have been a nasty story you hit the light barrier still doing about 60mph if that was the arm-co barrier could have been devastating glad your ok very good driving ...... off topic what do you use to record dash cam ?

  • 0:25

Gang Gets out of the car with baseball bats

  • Man you are so lucky you didn't hit that dividing barrier would have been curtains.

  • it's nice to see people stopping to help.

  • this is why you should always check before driving, i learnt that lesson quickly

  • Well controlled and glad you were ok. Just out of interest, what did you do in terms of steering (i.e. left/right) and did you brake hard/lightly/not at all when you had the tyre blowout?

  • @wannabemedic It all happened very quickly and its hard to remember what I done in the short few seconds it all took place in.

But I do remember trying to counter steer just after the trye blew, couldnt catch it in time though, The Stig makes it look so easy. The main thing that was going through my mind was to try and avoid as many objects as I could OH and to get out the bloody way of the on comming cars!!! would have been more fun on private land, just glad to be alive :-)

  • @857804 i dont think even the stig could control a tyre blow out, so unpredictable, glad it ended up with no serious injury's

  • @wannabemedic

as if he gona rememba that u fart knocker are u a complete turd brain?

  • Did you want to dance?

  • Look at the british - Everyone stops to help

  • @MrCoolstuff4you well seems as there's a car on its side, you would

  • How did you manage to not crash?

  • windscreen wipers going too! RETIREMENT from the race

  • You can hear the cars tyre blow out, stop saying he was taking the exit late. dude you're very lucky :)

  • wow this is the first time ive seen a crash where people actually stop to help.. i saw this one video where a truck crashes into a bridge which collapses and people just drive on through the rubble

  • @EliteMatt3289 its the law that if you witness an accident you have to stop/leave details......and if you are in any medical/emergency profession then the unwritten law is that you stop and assist. I am an EMT and will always stop and assist.

  • @pyro999maniac i have never seen this many people stop though.. i mean this bridge video was appauling.. people literally drove through the rubble like nothing ahppend

  • @EliteMatt3289 if it's the yellow truck that crashes into the glass bridge you are referring to then i have seen it and i have to agree that it was shameful that people were not stopping!

  • @pyro999maniac

It's not the case that having witnessed an accident you should provide your details.

The law states that you must provide your insurance details, name and address, if you are involved in an accident to any other parties involved and 'anyone who has a reasonable interest' for example, a landowner if you demolish a wall. That's the case in the UK. Other jurisdictions may vary.

  • @davelowe1977 i meant involved.....but tbh it is best if peope who witness it just stop and provide details to assist in insurance purposes and police investigations purposes.

  • @857804 what camera do u use

  • @ASHLambretta It was a normal bullet camera from maplin I think, 500tvl sony CCD, was recording onto a 12v VCR in the boot. Now Im using a 4ch USB DVR stick powered from a PC that runs the AV setup.

now running front and rear cameras :-)

  • @857804 so have u got a laptop always on in your car then

i use a pov 1.5 on the bikes thou i want one for my car see

  • How was the van driver? any serious injuries? He obviously went evasive to avoid you and in doing so ended up on his side on the bank. His quick reactions probably saved your life.

  • What kind of car is this?

  • @computerstuff4ever a knackered one :)

  • @computerstuff4ever It was a Vauxhall Astra mk3 1.7 diesel.

  • What the hell happend, was your tires over inflated or underinflated, were they not legal, did you pick up a nail?

  • @markhorneyuk The tyre was only about a month old! think I picked up a nail or something like that.

  • I did not realise how dangerous a blow out is!

  • What is that "dush" at 0:01 ?

  • @RingMotorsport He probably blew a tire, if I had to guess.

  • @RingMotorsport It says its a tyre blowout in the description

  • @RingMotorsport The tyre blowing.

  • good on you for keeping calm and even steering the car onto the shoulder.

  • That could have been a lot worse for you; I thought for sure you were going to hit that guardrail and roll over, glad you didn't. How were the people in the van?

  • Alot of people have dash cams. They come in handy

  • why did you have a camera fitted in your car ? anyways atleast it came in handy to show what happened .........

  • damn, how fast were you going? I hope everyone was ok.

  • nice to see people actually stopping to help. wher ei live people would just drive by really slow, and MAYBE one old pedestrian will help

  • @matthewrockslol22 I'd hope pedestrians wouldn't be on the M25 :D

  • @squirrels23 well i mean get out of their car to help.

  • did u just hit something on the road and made the tires wet so u lose control? or what happen hope u and the van driver were fine.

  • so, did you hit that van or was he trying to avoid you

  • I assume you check your tyres regularly|?

  • Good driver at least

  • @southboyzlondon u can tell he wasent maken off to the exit WATCH it again u will c . !!

  • was that a front tyre or rear??

  • @formidable38 I'd imagine the front tyre.

  • @puretroubleman What the Fack is a tyre?

  • @CUBEoneVX A tire (in American English and Canadian English) or tyre (in British English, New Zealand English, Australian English and others) is a ring-shaped covering that fits around a wheel rim to protect it and enable better vehicle performance by providing a flexible cushion that absorbs shock while keeping the wheel in close contact with the ground.

  • @puretroubleman Well for me, tyre sounds stupid and incorrect, but oh well, who am I to complain. Even Google Chrome spell Checker says tyre is incorrect.

  • @CUBEoneVX In the UK which is where this video is Tyre is spelled correctly. In America it is spelled Tire. Ya know, just because two countries spell a word differently, does not mean it is spelled incorrectly.

  • @CUBEoneVX That's okay. Ignorance of other cultures is allowed. Even for Google Chrome.

  • @puretroubleman

I read somewhere that in the UK we originally had both Tyre & Tire.

"Tire" was the metal band they had wrapped round wheels on carts/carriages. It seems like we had stopped using "Tyre" in the uk from 16th/17th Century but it came back in fashion quite recently.. strange...

  • in germany u MUST help other people if u see an accident otherwise u going to jail

  • I am glad to see people stop and get out to see if people are ok.

  • y ou may get the award for one of the earliest dash cams ever

  • @00:18 top bloke, first one to run across to help the man in the van. I would hate to have a situation like that mate, good catch on it though!

  • good save mate ;)

  • i never heard of a real blow out before? was it debri on the road?

  • What car were you in? Was it badly damaged?

What are the chances you were filming at the time?

  • Apart from the blown tyre (and presumably the alloy being wrecked), what was the damage to your car after this? It doesn't look like you actually hit anything...!

  • well i guess everything would NOT be cooler if it were more like nascar.

  • The reason this gets so many views is because people see "High speed" and "M25" they want proof of this impossibility. Stil an epik crash though :D

  • You were lucky that you didnt hit the divider between the exit and the freeway :)

  • do ya do ya do ya do ya wanna dance (i will after i check my legs aren't broken)

  • No such thing as a blow out, the Tyre had a penatration or other slow leak and was running soft, untill the heat build up caused sudden air loss resulting in what happend. Im nit sure about car control, me thinks you were in for the ride.

  • ok whats the story here did the guy hit you?

  • Just want to let you know that I think you handled that vehicle brilliantly. Even as the crash was still going on, you managed to park the vehicle safely & out of everybody's way. I'm glad you're okay & I hope the people in the van are alright too. Great control & great luck missing that divider/barrier.

  • Fake

  • Beautifully controlled. Could have been so much worse...

  • hard to see this

  • 操縦技術ナイス

  • I'm glad you're alright :) Do you know how people in the van were?

  • Wow how lucky were you to walk away from that, nice control to keep the car from rolling, well done.

  • skilled driving bro....

  • when people ask, "how long does it take you to get home" i say, "well how long is a piece of string". the M25 is so unpredictable

  • Good point , there are some people stoping their cars , not like some vidéo that most of them take place in America or Asia .

  • @18kaii dam right to that...atleast the canadians and british still have some respect for other people. more than i can say about some others

  • arabian drift?

  • was this at junction 5? you were about to head onto the M26 when the blowout came and you ended up on the a21

  • It appears that the car with the dash cam had received a pit maneuver. Thankfully, the car by passed the center divider, this could have been a more serious outcome. By the way, the persons in the van, were they ok?

  • Nice to see people stop straight away :)

  • people stopped to help wow ace dont feel so bad being human for while

  • song??

  • 11 peoples cars were hit in this accident...

  • @drumpolice Nope. Only my car and the white van were involved. the rest stopped to help.

  • @857804 i was making a funny...

  • @857804 looks fucking scary...what were your thoughts?

  • @857804 he's referring to the number of people who "disliked" this video.

  • @857804 wow did you kicked him out???

  • @857804 He's talking about the dislike bar.

  • @857804 you kept controll of you car really well if i must say mate u nearly hit that ford transit pickup. was dat van driver ok ?

  • @857804 oh dear lol

  • @drumpolice One more has owned up...

  • @Blenkinsop999 NICE...

  • I experianced a tire blow out 4 years ago in my old Seat Ibiza on the M8. I ended up on the roof at the side of the motorway. NOT FUN! Good to see yours ended not to bad :D

  • You're so luck you didn't hit the start of the barrier next to the hard shoulder, looked pretty close to me.

  • i can hear the blow out!

  • 0:19 the BMW driver is thinking, "Screw him, I'm not stopping!"

  • i like this video as other driver stop and helped, seen other crashes abroad and no one stops they just drive past even if the crash happens right in front of them.

  • This Happened To Me! God Its Scary

  • This can't be the US because that many people would never stop to help!

  • @southboyzlondon Their would be no way....I would upload this video if I was trying to make that exit!

That would be evidence for dangerous or reckless driving.

  • @857804 alryt fam i got it!!

  • @857804 So what vehicle were you driving, I never knew a highway tyre blowout was that violent

  • Did you need new shorts? I blew a tire at about 120 kph once. Fun.

  • heartwarming to see some people respond immediatly to help

  • when you watch american car crash videos people are like; 'duuuhh what just happened there?', in uk ones people are like; 'shit, go help these people right now', also the camera thing works both ways; if other people fuck up you can prove this, if it was you're fuck up you can just come out and say; "look i fucked up, what can i say?", courts should be lenient on that, after all if you put that camera in you're car knowing it will record you're own mistakes.....

  • You are lucky on so many levels. Firstly, you are lucky your car didn't roll - looked dry out there. Lucky you had dashcam (an insurer would otherwise just blame your driving), and lucky an off duty officer was there to back up what happened. And also, lucky your tyre blew when it did..on an exit slip entrance, so you had more room

  • Wow, u one lucky guy! How come the dash cam? Is it company enforced? If so, will prob be next move 4 my company after the trackers and 68mph limiter recently fitted in all our vans!

  • was that by the m1 junction anti clockwise?

  • Nice music in car :D ahahhahhaha lucky boy!

  • Eh?? Tire blows out....you lose control...bump another vehicle...skid across 3 lanes and you managed to tune in your radio. Man...that's control !!

I'm just kidding. Glad you are ok.

  • Good Job, Could have been alot worse....

Was all people involved in the car accident, including your self Ok?? Was the Vauxhall Van Driver ok?

At the end of the day, roads, crash barriers and cars can be mended, but a loved persons life can't be!!

  • Man, if you did all that sliding in a controlled way, you're god damn awesome. First you miss the road split right after the blow up (no idea if just by chance or because you steered right). Hitting that might have been deadly - either stopping you instantly or sending you into a crazy multiple rollover. Then you go an inch behind that pickup van, do an 180 degree reverse turn and end up on the emergency lane... all I can say is WOW !!!

  • @SINEKT I don't think he missed the road split, he did hit it a little bit. That's what stopped the car from rolling over when he was skidding, if it wasn't for that i actually think it could've been deadly. But i have to say, that reverse parking was great!

  • It was good to see so many people rushing to the rescue unlike other accidents we've seen on here.

  • I'm sorry for you! Were you OK???

  • Beach Boys in the background FTW!

  • Hey, looks like a very lucky escape! You know what caused the blow out? Yer lucky you didnt hit anyone else! Was it back in 2004? Stay safe!

  • Why does it take 1 minute to load a 28 second video

  • @dennismlns Becasue your internet sucks balls or your computer is retarded.

  • @futboleroR10 It is only the ones that are shorter than 30 seconds.

  • @dennismlns My argument still stands because the video loaded up in about 20sec for me.

  • Comment removed

  • Lasy year on the M40 I was passing an articulated lorry just as one of it's tyres blew, it sounded like a 12 bore shotgun going off,the force of it raised my car and moved it sideways, I had initially thought i had been in contact with the lorry, but that was impossible as we were well apart, to be alongside a lorry tyre blowout is quite frightening, no harm was done and the driver apologised if it had frightened me. An accident such as yours, you did well to come out unscathed - happy days!!!!

  • You can even hear the tyre blown at 0:09 well done in trying to keep control of the car mate.

  • Holy holy shit
