That's great. I stopped trying to sound like Insert Disc a long time ago. All his music is comprised of a maj7 chord progression and arps with unfitting percussion-lines.

When I was new to the genre his music was amazing. That was way before I learned anything about music theory/could truly appreciate music.

American Thanksgiving analogy: his music is like straight sugar, and nintendocore is like a cuisine of dishes. Sure, other dishes (projects) are influenced by it, but at the same time sugar is just sugar and you can't really ingest it straight. To make a really good meal you need variety. Sugar doesn't have that. It's just a simple saccharine.

yes, Q!HTSK uses FL Studio, and so do I (Rawesome). As for nintendo sounds, it's just various 8bit synthesizers we download/load onto FL Studio.
