  • I saw some of the film that Yuri Gagarin took on his first spaceflight and there's no stars in that, so that must be 'fake' too! The entire space program must be an illusion? Come to think of it, I was in the shopping centre last night and couldn't see any stars there so even my local mall must be 'faked'!

  • @astrophonix

    :-)

Yeah. I was in Hollywood some years ago. And guess what; I did not see any stars. I guess the whole place was fake, too.

  • @Rob260259 this is one of the tomfooleries hoaxers employ thinking they'll get away with ''intelligent'' accusations, claiming victory over us truth believers. it's pathetic they can't understand 10th grade physics. i'd come across users pt1gard, hunchbacked, and another i don't recall, that vehemently stated overexposing films in leo don't cause white-washes!!! they even showed star fotos in overexposed films in leo night side and claimed their moon love-story! pathetic!

  • Photographs of the stars were taken in ultra violet light by the Apollo 16 crew. Their positions in the pictures, mean that they could only have been taken from the Apollo 16 landing site, on the dates and times shown in the mission log.

    See watch?v=-wdiQ8IvO68 for more.

  • Oh NOES! NASA forgot to add the stars in thier faked film but released it to the public ANYWAY! What a colossal blunder by such a carefully trained bunch of hoaxters! I mean they were able to fake moon rocks and bribe foriegn officials to be in on the hoax, but then they go and forget to add stars to thier film??? Wow... just, wow. Do moon hoaxtards even LISTEN to themselves?

  • @Deke101

Oh yeh and don't forget how NASA managed to get the Soviet Communist government to be part of the conspiracy and have since been able to threaten the Indians and Japanese into taking futher staged shots from their lunar orbiters, in order to perpetuate the hoax, 40+ years on rofl ;-)

  • @GlowWorm1962 Not to mention briefing every new employee and contractor that comes to NASA so they will not spill the beans.

  • @Deke101

The longer I think about all consequences and measures that would be involved in this ridiculous hoax idea, the more convinced I am that hoaxheads not only are ignorant, but plain stupid as well.

  • @Rob260259 After years of arguing with these morons, my take on the subject is that it would have been easier to go to the moon with our limited technology than it would have been to pull off a hoax of this magnitude with no smoking guns or deathbed confessions. Astronomical.

  • @Deke101

Damn right. Only a true conspiritard has his own ideas about cover ups, men in black, area51 and murdered astronauts and technicians.

  • @Rob260259 Oh, not only are the astronauts and technicians murdered, but they are murderers and liars as well. THAT claim is what really pisses me off.

  • @Deke101

Apollo hoaxheads actually do more than just insult NASA. They claim everyone who worked on Apollo was a liar, participating in the biggest fraud in human history. Now maybe these hoax clowns don't know what it's like to have any credibility, reputation or achievements worth defending, but those who worked on Apollo certainly do. And I don't blame them one bit for being upset about it.

  • The 'no stars' thing really makes me laugh ( or cry ) People see a black sky and automatically associate it with night. It is of course, daytime and compared to the brightness of the lunar surface the stars are way too feint to be seen.

The russians and chinese have taken photographs in space too, and guess what, their photos have no stars either.

  • @EricWilsonWildlife

Well, I'm not surprised by the fantasy of some YTnoobs anymore. Some weeks ago some hoaxhead told me NASA uses a secret black basin in Area51 to simulate the darkness of space. I'm getting a little pessimistic sometimes... ...

  • @0:15 look at shadow. Module shadow pointing one way astro shadow pointing different way. Two light source spotlight

  • @LLnuLLy

Go watch non-parallel shadow: watch?v=-4T0q5skcUg. And learn about the basics of photography kid.

  • @LLnuLLy

    More answers for you:

    watch?v=u4Ay3tUi68E&feature=related

    (multiple suns probably, LOL)

  • @LLnuLLy

    It is called 'linear perspective'.

  • The stars are all in Hollywood of course! :p

  • @40390576

You clearly don't understand my original comment to make the reply you just did. I refer to crystal clear images of foreground and background in many of the images due to the fact the light has not scatterd. It shows they were taken in a place in absolute vacuum, something the hoaxers do not understand... or fail to register or acknowledge.

  • Hmm, I thought I commented on this video a couple of weeks ago. Oh well.

Nice video. Maybe Jarrah will show you his enhanced "star" in the Gemini 8 photo. Apparently he believes that one example out of thousands of pictures and hours of video in earth orbit which show no stars at all proves his (Kaysing's) case that the Apollo photos should have been *ablaze* with stars.

To make matters worse, in those rare photos which do seem to have a couple of tiny dots, they are photographic errors.

  • @Astrobrant2

    Thanks.

About the photographic errors; I've seen some comments from a hoaxhead trying Celestia on those dots. Too funny...

  • @Rob260259 Um, you should have seen how long *I* spent in Stellarium and making still layovers, star comparisons, alternate orientations, etc. Sheesh.

Did you see where I found the crescent moon in that Gemini 8 photo? Jarrah said it wasn't the moon. It seemed to be a perfect match, but he may have been right. I have seen the same faint crescent shape in two other photos where it couldn't possibly have been the moon. Probably just another kind of defect.

I should be forgiven for that one.

  • @Astrobrant2

Yep, seen that. You could be right, but I'm not an expert to say the least. By the way; Jarrah? Who is Jarrah?

  • @Rob260259 Jarrah's just some breathlessly conceited Aussie hoaxer with over 300 moon hoax videos, who has committed perjury twice by submitting false DMCA take-down notices on Apollo defenders. All because he's too lazy to read the very clear legal warnings on the copyright infringement form.

Or he just ignored them because, based on his subsequent arguments, he thinks he can defeat the whole legal system with his interpretation of the law, just like he thinks he can defeat all of academia.

  • @Astrobrant2

Ah... you mean BlackJarrah. Yeah, he's a serious case.

  • One of the things that is remarkable about the Apollo photos is their clarity. I'm not suggesting they were hoaxed, but since there is no atmosphere to disperse light, the foregrounds and backgrounds appear with the same high fidelity. Good work Rob. Hoaxheads are all as dumb as a bag of spanners. I'm tired of them now...

  • No matter how many examples you show them, Moon hoax conspiracy theorists still know their truF...

That's why most of them use Press and See cameras. Point and Shoot cameras are too difficult to them. They prefer to press the button and see what they got on display.

No surprise they fall for that "no stars" idiocy.

  • lol, you serious?

get a camera, take a picture a t night of something, not directly at the sky and you will get same result, this is quite pathetic actually, stay in the cave, thats fine with me >:D

  • @TNTJahv1er

"and you will get same result"

    Uh... same like what?

  • @Rob260259 dont mean to offend you but are you serious? common sense, the same result, no stars...

think I am getting a little ticked off, I shall relax, I respect your opinion, but you need to get your facts straight, Peace.

  • @TNTJahv1er

Well sir, tell me about the facts. Why don't we see stars in all those ISS and/or EVA pictures?

  • @Rob260259 please dont tell me you are a "believer" in religion? ... all of this will make sense if that is so ... have good day man, take care :) ... avoiding your question because I am done here, just quite shocked right now to be honest with you.

  • @TNTJahv1er

    No, I'm an atheist.

  • @Rob260259 lol man, no I am serious though, get your camera at night a take a picture where you can see the night sky, then come back and tell me if you saw any stars, peace.

  • @TNTJahv1er

    ISO?

    f-stop?

    shutterspeed?

    objective?

  • @TNTJahv1er With my camera set for a daytime exposure (e.g., 1/200 sec, f/16 for ASA 200 speed) it does not capture any stars in the night sky. Does that answer your question?

  • @ApolloWasReal

It seems to me that TNTJahv1er mistook OP for a moon hoaxer.

  • @telecomengr

    I think you're right.

  • @TNTJahv1er the astronaughts are in the sun light, the light would wash out any star by a very long way.

the cameras used would have been set up for a quick picture.

to take photos from earth even at night needs a 5 minute exposure.even then you need an astrotrak and stack lots of photos.

why not just take another look at all the evidence to prove it happened then you can chill out and enjoy what you can see at night and not concern yourself with all these hoaxes

  • @Rob260259 me too.

  • I suppose that means we've never gone into space, since all the "outdoors" pictures have no stars. I pointed out to awe130 when he started his star argument that there were no stars in his LRO photo of the earth in the lunar sky and asked if that means LRO is fake. He sent back something about a rabbit hole.

  • @philwebb59

Awe130... would that be the dude asking all those 'questions' and not wanting answers?

A rabbit hole... probably in Area51.
