I'm an honor roll student in middle school. Take it from me, and not some adult or psychologist. I HATE school. It is uninteresting, and not open to new things. There is a 30 page book of rules. It is a prison. We literally are a number and an address. No privacy. Just to prove myself, watch this:

i got to school everyday and there is this one teacher that just does not like me at all i do my work in that calss all the time and do what she says and she talks crap to me and kicks me out of class and now i have to go to Truancy court because i have missed more them 10 days of school or whatever, i think its crap that i get on trouble because a teacher does not like me
dude theres terachers like that everywhere change teachers or if thats not possible show the teacher ur in control ie be an ass and get good gradesat the same time theyll give up eventually DONT BACK DOWN

so true man i think they need to find other alternatives other than just getting us fucking tickets and going to court theres other reasons why we cant get to school and they need to realize its not just because we dont feel like going it escalates into other things like we cant stand to sit in a class with a teacher we hate and all the judging that goes on in school is enough to make us insane!
ya recently we got a grad student for a teacher (so he can practice or something) me and some freinds have just started doing random shit in class an telling him that we just dont want to do work and he just goes on. soon he may even go insane =D

Very interesting video. There is no reason that a child shouldn't go to school. Being a teacher myself, i always make sure that there is a justifiable reason why my student has been absent.

School does not mean knowledge. It's designed for making obedient robots rather than intelligent people. As Albert Einstein said, imagination is more important than knowledge. There's too much memorizing and little understanding.
The way it's designed, is just like prison. People are FORCED with no choice to go there for an horrible, low quality education.
Public schools do not take into account a child's possible complex psycho-social environment. If the school experience is negative, avoidance may be seen. Bullying a hurting child can be devastating. The failure to engage and teach our children is dismal at many schools, especially inner city schools. What's the point of having a gate student at a ghetto school that is failing to teach him properly? The educational dollar should be attached to the child, not a socialized educational system.
