  • Hey i wasnt high. I seriously believe AC/DC suck. Ok?

  • @lordvespatron People like you deserve to die.

  • Back when rap used to rock. Unlike todays sellout black guys out to a reagan lifestyle crap. And this is better than the ac/dc shitty original, all the way. Yes!

  • @lordvespatron how the hell is the AC/DC version shitty are you high next time don't get on youtube when your high as hell

  • Way back in the day 1979, Fatback Band made a record using rhyme. In the same year come The Sugerhill Gang with the Pow Pow Boogie and the Big Bang BANG! R&B, Disco, Pop, Country, Jazz all thought HIP HOP was just a lickle fad. But here come Grandmaster Flash none stop. After that RUN DMC & The Beastie Boys drop. Now they have to pay attention to the scale. Where other music bails. HIP HOP PREVAILS. See RAP music has gone platinum from the start. So now 2--- we gettin present as an ART...

  • Yeah, I remember this track. They played it on the radio for a month or so but I never could find the single, thanks to AC/DC & their label being all like "durrr derrrrr....what's this rap stuff? It's just a fad hurrrrdddy durrr".

At least the Beasties got in a good shot at that bullshit with the first song on Lic 2 Ill, "Rhymin' & Stealin'". Get it? As they were "rhyming" they were also "stealing". Only on that track they sampled two OTHER metal songs and pretty much were like FU AC/DC

  • ITS NOT OK TO MAK EART OR MUSIC IN GENRAL SINCE GOD MADE FIRST SO ITS ALL SAMPLING AND IN GOD EYES AND THE GOV ITS WRONG SINCE WE DID NOT MAKE IT FRIST

  • I look at people whining about sampling and I think that it sounds like a photographer criticizing a collage artist for not taking the pictures himself. And as many people have no idea about sampling/DJing/hip hop production, they're even less qualified to make snide remarks. This is primitive compared to todays production techniques, but it all came from somewhere. It started with 2 channel mixing on turntables and live mixing and then double dee and steinski (and others) upped the game.

  • @deejayalemus True...let's see these spoiled ass cats comin up, power THEIR sound system with pedal power lmao! Most lazy suckers ain't bled for an art form these days, so don't have enough respect for it ;D

  • @johnjnukemsheridan Wholeheartedly agree. One of the things I loved about early hip hop was that it taught me so much about classic funk and soul music, and the beats were just amazing... todays generic FL studio and Casio beats are just weak... plus nothing sounds quite like an 808 ^_^. I too got to see the rise of hip hop as an artform, people were telling me back in the 80s that rap was a fad and that I shouldn't listen to "black" music cause I was white (hello, hendrix?) lolz.

  • @deejayalemus Me too! Hear hear! And oh yes, the 808 is KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING lol ;D

  • My Favourite early beasities track. They took AC/DCs best bit and improved on it MASSIVELY!!

  • You show /name an artist /artists that has not sampled from others. Malcolm mclaren and the Clash were doing it in the 70s/80s. I do believe Hip Hop originated from this style. But has the Beasties ever moaned about their stuff being used in other peoples music? This i do not know or care about. What does make me laugh, is people getting the arse about it and thinking they are the music industry. Just enjoy the sound and let 'them' get on with it, it's all corrupt anyway.

  • If you like Daft Punk, but hate sampling...

    You're fucking stupid.

  • @albinolucario LMAO! ;D Daft Punk are unbelieeeeeevably over rated imho. I love Rock n Roll/Various House Genres/HIP HOP, all kinds of music...but never really liked Daft Punk all that much. Their work on the Tron Legacy soundtrack is their best work by far, so far as I'm concerned. Pulser, Guy Mearns, Skakta, Fluke, Cold Storage - just a few off the top of my head, are waaaay better than Daft Punk. Leagues ahead! Some people xD

  • @johnjnukemsheridan just notice my misstype lol...sorry, that should have said "Shakta" :o0

  • First beastie song i heard was intergalactic, has to be one of, if not my favourite music videos in the world :)

  • I have this on an album, juct can't remember the name of it. Love the guitar and rap mix

  • I've got 2 copies of 'Back in black' just so I can cut up this break - I never listen to any more of the lp because it sound cheesy imo.. If you don't dig sampling then you don't understand hiphop...so, what are you doing here?

  • Think of it this way. ACDC did a piss poor job. These guys didn't.

  • "They have talent as do other rap artists who sample"

    Sampling isn't talent.

  • @955472 making one sample work with another and so on could be considered a talent of the ear. The beasties second album contains shit loads of samples all put together to create completely different sounding works. that was produced by the dust bros. who have a nice track record of mixing the old with the new, familiar with obscure. finding the right whatnot to go with the right whodat takes a keen ear in itself. it is kinda hard to do - i've tried it and given up

  • @Crispysmith123 I can see it now... "No Professor, plagiarism doesn't mean I cheated. Think of how I put together different copied passages from other people's research research and made it come out so smooth. I should get credit for that. Its hard."

  • @955472

If you honestly equate the very act of sampling to a lazy high school student copying and pasting chunks of other peoples text for a paper, then there's really no helping you. Yes, this track is pretty basic as far as sampling goes, not much creativity. But if you can listen to works like DJ Shadow's Endtroducing, the early Public Enemy albums, Deltron 3030 and more and just write that all off with a, "Nope. Talentless plagiarism," then there's absolutely no getting through to you.

  • @TheTinker19 They needed to copy other people's creativity. Case closed.

  • @955472 you may have a stick up your ass about sampling and thats fine, but if your suggesting that beastie boy aren't talented or creative, you obviously have never listened to any of their albums.

  • @955472

Yeah, yeah. The case is closed, just like your mind. Go and listen to your KISS records, gramps.

  • @TheTinker19 Go listen to your crime adoring scum son.

  • FRIGGIN AWSOME. AC/DC THE BEST ROCK BAND EVER, AND BEASTIE BOYS THE BEST RAP GROUP EVER...MERGED

  • Comment removed

  • Monophonic

  • Shut the fu.. up y'all - This is how Hip Hop started (doin' it upon instrumental tracks) - and y'all liked it makin' it a billion dollar industriy

  • I dont care what you guys say this song kicks ass

  • y dont they have this on itunes?

  • fk u by compying back in black

  • Screw you guys for hating the B-Boys. Okay they sampled back in black without permission so what?

  • @wimpman94 nothing negative, other than making a song, and plagiarizing are two separate things.

  • I think this is used much better then the original song. Great guitar riff but acdc can only do good riffs but can complete song. They just slab a few chords around with bad singing

  • this is a proper tune.

i love both beastie boys and AC/DC so i have no problem with this sample

  • leave the beastie boys alone this was there first single in 1984

  • BEASTIE BOYS=NO CREATIVITY=SAMPLING=THEFT

  • Yer fuck off beastie boys.

  • leave AC/DC alone!!!!

  • TOO GOOD!

  • This is SHITE. Search AC/DC Back in Black to listen to the REAL version, Because this is total SHITE.

  • @MysteriousRandomer ac/dc are fucking awful man.the beastie boys are a landmark band,ac/dc are a joke.

  • @DiscoStorm Thats complete and utter SHITE. Like this video.

  • Thanks for posting this. I'm reading "Def Jam Inc" and the first few chapters mention this song and "Its Yours" by T-La Rock, landmark recordings produced by some guy named Rick Rubin. The Beasties still sound fresh despite this record being over 20 years old. Thanks again.

  • Unlike most shade wearing suckers of today (whether they call themselves "Hip Hop" "RAP" or R n B); "Not fake, not false, not counterfeit"!

Also, shades ARE cool...and these uncool muthaz of today, always wearin them in every goddamn picture, really pisses me off!! Jerks lol

  • why did they use ac/dc song again?

  • pessima in confronto all'originale..

  • not even bonham was as hard as oberheim. over your head mullet boys!

  • erm

    ......(O

  • Verkrachting van back in black!

  • this song is illegal by the copyright of AC/DC

  • @hrcrules19 only if the Beastie Boys used the original sound recording of AC/DC's Back in Black . . . if they created a cover version and rapped over that then, generally speaking, there would be no copyright infringement

  • AC/DC is a great band, one of my favourites. Who cares they used Back in Black in a song they didn't even release? I love it anyway.

  • @cacaegato I'd like to why know why your comment isn't ignorant.

  • @cacaegato Why did u listen to it then ? (*&^ !

  • I don't normally post replies to comments older than a month or two but to all of those who think Beastie Boys are trash how else do you explain these white Jewish boys making a stay in a black dominated industry? They have talent as do other rap artists who sample other recordings whether it was originally another rap OR rock song. Lil Jon covered Ozzy and Run DMC has covered Steve Miller and Aerosmith (of course). AC/DC rocks but I still like the Beastie Boys too.

  • @jmarcum72 for example: kanye west(and many other people) sampled off of daft punk.

he used one part of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" in his song "Stronger"

  • @albinolucario dude rappers have sampled from the begining. and will never stop....how else would they of gotten beats? they didnt have fancy drum machines back then as they do today anyways. and i think its sorta cool some rappers still do it today just because that will tell you that they arent just about one type of music.

  • @jmarcum72

Reinforcing what you said, and I'm coming across this comment for the first time (noting the age) so I hope you don't mind, they had the first hip hop album to reach #1 on the Billboard 200. Yes. White people.

  • @TheIncredibleMisterZ Sorry, Jewish peeps.

  • ACDC> Beastie Boys

  • This is when they were just kids i mean 17 or 18 years old.

  • amazing ass song. anybody saying that they can't make there own shit obviously hasn't heard anything else by them.

  • error no longer avaliable

  • I can listen to this all day. I used to back when it was out back in the day....waaaay back in the day. Any chance I can get this on MP3? I sure would appreciate it!

  • @ChrisinEC Check out DVDVideosoft for a free Youtube to mp3 converter. Otherwise you will search far and wide for a copy of this. It was quickly taken down because of a lack of permission to use AC/DC to begin with.

  • youtube Comedian White Shoes! da illest of the Jews!

  • beastie boys >ac/dc

  • Yeah this was on an album cal Def Jam classics vol2

  • Back In Black + Beastie Boy's = FUCKING LOVE

  • beastie boys made this cool!!!!!

  • @jbevan96 Shut up.

  • is it possible to obtain this song legally?

  • They're the Beastie Boys and they got real rock shit!

  • ACDC: 'Nothing against you guys, but we just don't endorse sampling.'" Beastie Boys: "we don't endorse people playing guitars."

  • @KRS1LEGEND LOL

  • @KRS1LEGEND poor guys. dont know what real talent is.

  • @KRS1LEGEND well the beastie boys are musicians just the same. how you think they became rappers?

  • @KRS1LEGEND

You do realize the Beastie Boys started as a punk band right?

They can play guitar and drums etc...

  • @brwnstown That's what Ad-Rock told Malcom Young when they were trying to get the sample to be legalised though. Beastie Boys play their own music on their songs today too.

  • Comment removed

  • old school ;]

  • back in black %99 but, nice

  • WTF BACK IN BLACK ?

  • Beastie Boys 1st song on Def Jam!

  • Now this is good rap, beastie boys = good rap :)

    AC/DC better though, but i'm aussie :)

  • i prefer beastie boys but i like the fact unlike either people uve not said "BEEEEAAAAASTIEEE BOYS = BAAAASTARD!"

  • Wow..This takes me back. KROQ played this song to death.

  • Yea they did but this is fucking badass

  • awesome.. just badass

  • Fucking ACE!!!!

  • this is awesome my two favourite bands pity they stole the sample i presume this is why it wasnt released

  • It was released, as a 12-inch EP, in '84

  • Originally yeah, but once they had musical standing they sought permission for a proper release, but were turned down because AC/DC "doesn't endorse sampling". Adrock responded by saying he "doesn't endorse people playing guitars". Beasties are awesome.

  • lmao

  • \,,/

  • shit

  • thanks to the uploader for the mp3 link.

  • they sampled Back In Black without permission they couldave been sued

  • sampling didnt become illegal til 1990 which is why they could make an album like pauls boutique in '89 and couldnt after

  • This song is fucking electric!!!!!

  • back in black

  • i've wanted to hear this song since I heard a few seconds of it on this 2hr Beastie documentary I taped off MTV when the Hello Nasty album dropped. It showed them performing it on stage opening on the Madonna Like A Virgin tour and people booing but they still did their thing!

  • i love the beastie boys. but i love AC/DC more. so this is my new favorite song :)

  • just brought this on 12" cant wait for it to arrive.

  • Thanks so much for the link for downloading this song....i think this is one of their best songs ever

  • When I saw Ice Cube at Lollapalooza '92 he sampled Back in Black for his intro. I wonder if he knew the story of this record being withdrawn for its illegal sample. Cool shit!

  • awesome beastie boyz

  • YOU suck!

  • yes "begekim" is a tosser

  • Every two seconds Chuck norris punches a baby in the face, but every two seconds Ac dc punches twohundred babies in the face

  • what?

  • Ac Dc is a great band.....actually, Beastieboys and ac.dc are my 2 favorite bands ever.

  • To everyone below who thinks AC/DC hated the song, AD Rock said: "The Young brothers wouldn't allow us to release it. They said "Nothing against you guys, we just don't endorse sampling". So there you go, idiots.

  • King Ad-Rock replied: "Well we don't endorse people playing guitars."

  • that makes no sense, the guys themselves all play instruments, the King Ad-Rock is a bassist himself

  • That's not the point, Einstein.

The point is that sampling is an art form, same as playing guitar and other instruments.

And FYI, Ad-Rock plays guitar, MCA plays bass guitar and Mike Diamond plays the drums.

  • exactly.

  • "That's not the point, Einstein."...

    that made me laugh!

  • False Ad rock plays the guitar and MCA plays bass

  • Ad-Rock is a guitarist, not bassist.

  • wow!! this song rocks ass!! ít was released two years before their first album! i gotta download it right now... =)

  • shut up

  • ok then so im assuming that your against rock bands doing covers of other rock bands..since covering is even less original than sampling

  • @Regset Beatie boys are basically just alternative rap. Not rock. They were punk for 1 album, for like half a year. That dosen't make them a rock band cause they have a guitar in their music. So does little wayne, but hes nowhere close to rock.

  • @AlternativeYouthTv I never called beastie boys a rockband. I was talking about any other rock bands that do covers.

  • @Regset Then don't be so vaugue. You could of plain as well used them as a example intended or not. :). And you were typing. You can't talk online.

  • @AlternativeYouthTv Well I did say 'rock bands' and therefor that meant I wasn't referring to the beastie boys. Also typing/talking you get the idea just like when you typed the 'beatie boys' instead of the beastie boys but I didn't care to comment on it til now when you made the talking/typing remark.

  • @Regset Like i care? Lol. I don't give a fuck how bad i mispell something. You can't talk online. You may only type. You dirty Austrian Transexual troll.

  • @AlternativeYouthTv and I don't care if I was vague so fuck off.

  • @Regset Oh you are hardcore. Sending scary messages through a computer.

  • @AlternativeYouthTv You're the one who replied to my post. So I was only replying to what you posted to me. You started it. Get a life.

  • @Regset I have one, As does every single person on earth. They live it daily throughtout their life. Oh and you really put me in my place.

    P.S

    Umad bro?

  • @AlternativeYouthTv Of course you would think I meant it literally. Anyways im not mad, you're the one who seemed to get upset when I called you out on your typo. Calling me an "Austrian Transexual troll". lol come on how old are you, 12?

  • @Regset Why u mad though?

  • @Regset sampling completely copies the song. you dont have to know how to play any instruments. just take it from a disc. a cover you have to learn on an actual instrument. and you can add your own style to it. so thats not true.

  • @switchheelfront360 Oh please that's a bunch of bull. You obviously know nothing about hip hop. Theres many instances where sampling has differentiated far from the original to create new music.

  • @Regset i know enough about hip hop to know that it doesnt take any talent only what your doing on a computer.

  • @switchheelfront360 Then no you know nothing about that if you're that ignorant about how hip hop music is made.

  • @Regset your right i guess i dont. im not too good with making music on a laptop and talking into a microphone. and i dont have autotune either.

  • The answer to the afformentioned question is: AC/DC. Malcolm Young did not allow it. Everything AC/DC was against, "Re-mixing" crap. "Play your own music, losers".

All hail the greatest band that ever lived.......AC/DC. True to the end. And by the way, I actually likes this......But i don't blame AC/DC for not allowing it, AT ALL!

  • I agree. AC/DC the greatest rock band.

  • thanks for the link!

  • from ac/dc or the bastards at the record company?

  • it was on a def jam sampler entitled "kick it"..maybe try searching for that? hope you get it. i want it too for that matter. only got it on the original tape ,which got chewed up somewhere along the line... :(

(and i dont have a tape player no more!)

  • yeah you cant download this because it used the back in black sample illegally back in 1982 and now they cant get premission from AC/DC to re-realease it.

  • AC/DC suck then.

  • how can you just say that because they felt bands should be making original songs, still, this song rules

  • Songs so fucking awesome. I can't find it anywhere to download though.
