I can't help but think this film could have been better if Martin had stuck with the idea of using two English actors for the role of Ray and Ken. Don't get me wrong I still love this film with two Irish actors it makes me love the Irish. In fact I believe Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson made it funnier than it should have been. However they probably should have used two brilliant English actors that would be able to pull of a funny performance.

I think piracy actually helps the music/film industry

I first watched this at a friends house, then pirated it and watched it at home, now I have the dvd.

Also, if I were a filmmaker/musician, I would rather 100,000 people watched my movie or listened to my music, and 10% of them went on to buy it, than nobody watching it and only 5000 people buying it.

Maybe people watching it on here can't buy the dvd for one reason or another, or maybe they just wouldnt have bought it anyway

Bruges is not a shithole - it's a nice town, it's very very small at it's centre. Narrow cobbled streets, stone buildings, lots of Frites stores and touristy chocolate shops everywhere. Nice old churches and cute buildings... canals and small bridges everywhere.

Nice place for a small amount of time.

Bruges is like the worst "touristic" town in belgium. every corner you have a church and some water. i don't get why foreigners go to bruges. if you're planning on going to belgium, go visit antwerp or brussels. never go to bruges, except if your interested in middle age buildings.

i've met a lot of australians who have never seen such old buildings, then it's an interesting town. otherwise visit holland or something:p
