The song is lovely and you play it beautifully. Thanks for all your videos! By the way, I am so jealous at how you can have such beautiful nails while playing. I have to keep mine cut extremely short or they drive me crazy!
Thanks Barb, There is a trick about the nails! It is a secret, but I will whisper it to you.... I paint half the tips white and cover with a skin tone sheer. French nail color kits... Mine are extremely short too!!! They just look way prettier now! Try it it makes you feel double glamorous...Harp....and nice finger nails.
Thank you so much Catherine for playing this for me. I feel much more confident now about how it should sound. Gotta love the slow pieces. That was such a great example of how to make a piece longer without having to learn more of the music. I am memorizing much more than I ever though possible, and I find that it makes the pieces flow so much better. Donna
I am glad to help if I can. You are very right about memorizing. Once a piece is memorized you can concentrate on the actual art of your playing and the style or feelings you can give it. It takes a very long time to learn to do playing like that while sight reading . Tracking is a bit different. You learn the piece so well that your eyes track the notes and then they act as speach cheater cards at htat point.
Thanks Sara, It is nice to share. One day I may be more pleased when listening to my own playing. My goal is to play almost anything at a lower advanced level that is put in front of me and play many things by memory. Yes, I aspire High. Long way to go.
Hi Mary, Thanks. I did this for special request from Donna. I hope she likes it. I added playing and repeating the whole first page, then play and repeat the whole second page, then back to page 1 with a second ending at the bottom. I know I took liberties.
Thanks Christine, I wish I could play out some of those pauses. All in time though. Harping well is a long process and takes so much patience. It helps me have patience in all aspects of my life as well though. Love it. Life lessons through harping.
Never mind. I only see your lovely bird on the background. Is it a parrot? I love animals. The last time I've had a mess too in my house, but this week my spouse and I take a few days off to clear a lot of mess. We trown15 refuse pockets away. It's takes a couple of day's, but I enjoy my clearred housse!
We have lots of fur and feather babies, scale and shell babies too.. I added some text to the song to tell how I made it longer than Joanna's two pages just by repeating. A way to play more but play the same thing!!! I like that kind of cheating... Sh that is a secret. He he.
Good Idea about the refuse bin! I need to try that. I would have so much more room!
