What I did was go to the tavern in Bowerstone, play the Card Pairs game to get enough gold to buy all the emeralds they have in Oakvale, then I bought them and waited until the next delivery. I bought more, then sold them all and kept repeating. I didn't need any leveling up or attractiveness or anything. I only made about 10,000 each time, but once my fame went up and I had more emeralds, I was making 58,000 each time I did it. And I have 9,999,999 because of this, which is as high as it goes.

lvl your shopkeeping/trading skill with the yellow skill points

beat arena to get some gold

buy EVERYTHING in the general store in oakevale, then go to sleep in the tavern 4 days (so 8x using bed)

buy EVERTHING from the general store again and sleep 4 days (8x useing bed)

buy EVERYTHING from the shopkeeper, now you have 3x his normal stock, sell back everything, you get a small profit on a item like parfum its one of the highest profits, trading skill and beeing goods helps hiigher profit

what I do is buy all of the apples in the game, sell them and buy a few dozen times, go play shove ha' penny in hook coast with a betting of 1k each round, then repeat, lol.

note: all of the armor in the original fable is worth about 200k in total, and its especially fun to get random people drunk.

it should work, you cant go over 200 diamonds that will just make you lose money. for 200 diamonds you will make 100k gold and when you buy back the gold you will only use up 10k

the fast way i make money early one is after the wasp menece quest, run all the way to oakvale.

the guy always has dimonds for sale, with a gile of 2 i make up to 50,000 coins in a few minutes.

u gota look at quantity...ok there is a easier way to make money a good way that will for sure make u money..ok i recommend starting with at least 50-100k..buy all the potions can from every where!! (note: u need 3 + guile)..then go to bowerstone south and right beside entrance (where u come in..from lookout point) ther will be a guy on left or right of the door ...buy all his potions and sell all of your potions..keep buying and selling from him all potions.u will have 500-1mill in like 10min.

this works but you have to buy enough so when you do buy them the price is low if you buy all the price will go up at the shop and then you sell them for a higher price then you bough and therefore you make money. its really easy i make over 1-mil every-time i sell stuff because i have saved my dimonds and i now have over 1k of them Xd happy fabling!!

On xbox it doesn't seem to work but what you should do is by the house in Oakvale and improve it to its best then put your best two trofies in it and then rent it out and stay at the house across the street by going in and eesing yes to go to sleep but then running out the door before you fall asleep and then you wont get charged by the guards

I can get even more money.

Step 1 Buy up ALL the potions you can. If you have to choose, take only the Will.

Step 2 When you come across a trader with potions on the road, buy ALL, I repeat ALL, the potions he has.

Step 3 Immediately sell ALL your potions back to him.

Step 4 Repeat as nessesary. Be rich.

EASY. And you only have to wait until you have over 100 will potions, not ALL the way until Bowerstone north. That, and the house renting trick, are both SO stupid.

You can make hundreds of thousands of dollars using this method in only a few minutes. This message is for the guys saying that it doesn't work. He showed you that it makes 300 something profit every time you sell a diamond. If you buy all the diamonds, lets say, 100 diamonds, you make about 30,000 gold in a second. Now do this ten times. Takes under a minute. This guy has a great idea going.

It works if you have at least level 5. Level 4... well, i really dont know if it works at level 4, but learn Guile level 5 or 6 (it is not too hard to reach) to gain more money each time.

And an advice: You'll get a lot of money doing this same with health and magic potions in South Bowerstone, the merchant next to the cullis portal. With guile at level 6, you can obtain a profit about 50 gold coins for each potion (now i have about 300 potions in my inventary, so 300x50=15000 gold :D)
