@tayrone2001 you do know the trilling from g to a flat Is the same as Trilling from g to g sharp? You see g sharp and a flat are what we call enharmonic equivalents , which means they sound the same but are written differently! So before you go around talking crap educate yourself!

@tayrone2001 why do u think there are 2 names then? if id would be the same u wouldnt need 2 names right? if u want to know the difference play 2 chords on the piano: notes from base to soprano= 1.) e b d g#. the highest note is a g# which tends to lead upwards (to a). play then the chord and then play a c e a.

2.) play d(b) f a(b) c(b, which u would call "b" which would be wrong it's c flat). Now repeat the note a flat, it tends to go downwards to g flat. play then g(b) b(b) d(b). u see!

You should be sitting on the edge of your seat and sitting up straight. The second thing is that trills are not for "advanced players". The first year i started to play we had to do trills. Its not that hard or complicated!

FYI you can pick up a trill chart at any good music store that shows every combination. Easy shortcuts to make your life easier.
