If this response is not removed (as are many in this venue) I have but one thing to say. Women CAN NOT receive Holy Orders. Rome has spoken on this issue and the case is closed. No more can a carrot be consecrated the Body of Christ can a female be "ordained" a priest. They are all excommunicated and their "sacraments" invalid and mortally sinful. It really is so sad that women feel so cut off from the Church's teachings. My heart goes out to them. I'm glad they want to share their faith, that is an awesome gift from God. Our faith isn't about sharing ideologies, its about sharing Christ who is a real person, married to the Church and He alone makes us one.

My hope is for unity on this issue, unity that stands in the truth - knowing that God's call is what is best for us.

I dont think this is a Romen Catholic Church! if it was they would of have a Cruxific at the altar. And I never saw anywhere in the bible were in the Old testement or New Testement a linage that there was a women priest? Jesus Chose 12 apostiles to do his work until he comes to judge the living and the dead. So this is not a Catholic Church but a Congration claiming so but not. You cannot trace your origins back to Christ if your a Women priest.
