if you want some of the best hog/coon dogs cross a blue tick to a bloodhound. If you want the best bear/ mountain lion huntin dog cross a pure bred wolf to any kind of hound. I have 12 blue tick/bloodhound mixes i use 6 to hunt coons and 6 for hogs, i have 15 wolf/ hound mixes i use 8 for bear and 7 for mountain lion. I have a 4 cyote/fiest mixes (idk if thats how you spell it) to hunt squirel and bobcat. All are good hunting dogs. Wouldnt trade any of them for any purebred hound.
