I've only seen one other Nostromo AMV, but i'm noticing he/she uses a ton of the same clips and a lot of the same effects ON those clips too. Which is weird consitering he/she uses so many series.
The AMV itself is pretty, though. No doubt about that. n_n
It would have helped if I went to the link before commening. I would have seen Nostromo is indeed a 'he'. xD
Oh, and thanks for uploading. The next HD is definitly nice. And it's also nice to ACTUALLY see a AMV in the widescreen, since everyone either uses Full Screen or a weird version of widescreen which doesn't fill the whole video area.
You have to take into account that a lot of his clips are self designed and edited into clips from the series. I find that the repeated clips, although not exactly the same clips, generally fit a certain theme in the video and are therefore not repetitive but reinforce the theme of the video. For example in this video he repeatedly presents a field of daisies, with a smattering of other clips of natures. You can interpret that however you like, but I took this idea of nature to be the theme.
