  • this is a $5. movie

  • Oh YEAH! I can dig it! :-)

  • Great job!

    Love the look.

Was this shot in Cineframe 30?

    -Nick

    Sony HVR-Z1U

  • @Nickvideoguy Yeah it was!

  • so when will it be done?

  • @dayboyy24 It's already complete except for a few minor things that need to worked on. We're just now finishing up some paperwork.

  • the word DETERMINISM actually means something like free will that real men have. Free will is what women have. Determinism is what men have. But they are both equally random and predetermined.

  • no, that's not what determinism means, it has nothing to do with gender. determinism is the opposite of free will, it means every action is causal and that the concept of free will is an illusion. look it up.

  • I would like to retract my previous statement. And i am aware of what YOU all think determinism means. But determinism, (cause and effect) is only part of the picture. Free will, is partially random and partially predetermined. Your own unique randomness your own unique equation determines who you really are.

  • Determination has a few meanings. One relates to the philosophical position opposed to libertarianism (free-will), and one is used to signify an act being carried out following deliberation, e.g. "This man was determined to commit his crime."

However, the form "determin-ism" is almost universally used to mean the philosophical position.

Looks like a thought-provoking film. A good read: Crime Its Cause and Treatment by Clarence Darrow (Famous civil liberties attorney - Scopes Trials)

  • @ICANGO247 check out the paper "Unconscious determinants of free decisions in the human brain" published in Nature Neuroscience from researchers John Dylan-Haynes et. al.

You can see a lecture video on this too at lecturevideos net

Also, look up Ben Libet, and good reading on this is "Neurophilosophy of Free-Will" by Henrik Walter. If you don't dig the whole scient-'ism' thing, check out Friedrich Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Kant, and the like. You'll get a better idea of how this debate goes.

  • @Rybot9000 Or if you can get your hands on the Teaching Company's lecture series hosted by Shaun Nichols it will take you through pretty much the entire history of the debate.

  • using magic bullet ?

  • No we used the Cineform color corrector.

  • Looks great !

  • some beautiful shots & editing.

  • this looks amazing

  • Great trailer, congrats!

  • Nicely cut. Some performance issues, but all in all, great work.

  • what was this color corrected with?

  • wow guys this really look good

and this is independient right? i mean without budget?

where do you premiere the movie?

    btw awesome job!

  • the trailer looks great.. very beautifully cut.. hope the movie is equally good.. btw, wat camera was this shot on?...

  • The camera was a Sony HDR-FX1

  • Slow down the frame rate of your movie - it'll look more professional.

  • I said the same thing. 24fps should do wonders for the feel of the film. The color palatte is already superb.

  • i must see i hope i get to see it

  • good luck with it

  • make me a music video...please...

  • damn this trailer is mad well done .. especially if it really is NO budget

  • This looks sick, when is it coming out!

  • Good trailer....you got me all started here....i must see this film.....great job....all the best.

  • Looks fabulous and gritty. I like it!

  • I (RELL) 100% support this. I would def help promote this. Its official. Drama, suspense, action and a lesson. Thats would be a hottt!!! Fire movie.

  • Looks great!!!

  • Sweet! Fresh! Slick! I'd take 30 seconds out of it though.

  • is the movie out?

  • Nicely Done! :-)

  • Double WOW! VERY nicely done! I'm an aspiring filmmaker so I have done my fair share of research and seen a few indie films and this one definitely stands out. Great trailer editing by the way. Left me wanting more which is exactly what it's supposed to do. Too many indie filmmakers give away the film in the trailer because they are so proud of their coolest shot, but you did a great job. Keep up the good work.

  • Nicely done!

  • Wow
