When Sesshomaru was Born like you said he was loved because his mother and his father got together for one reason to make a powerful offspring.. then when he was older he bacame a powerful lord as they knew, Then his Father went off and met Izaoui (cant spell her name) and the day they had the child Inuyasha(SPOILER IF YOU ENT GOT TO THE 3RD MOVIE DONT READ)and that day Inutaisho (there father was killed protecting Inuyasha and his mother) so thats why Sess hates Him

Sesshomaru has a lot of reasons on hating Inuyasha, but the most one he hates the most in which he actually expresses is the death of his father. His father died saving a mere women and a half demon, his father was a great demon and the only one Sesshomaru looked up to, so he dreamed that he would defeat his father one day, but it ended when his dad died saving inuyasha, thats the major reason, aside from inuyasha having tessaiga and him being half demon.
