i've been looking for this series i used to watch, but i cant seem to find it anywhere.

it was about a guy who would hang from the ceiling in a green slimy cocoon like thingy and he fought in a mech on a glider against these green alien guys in space..

if anyone of you guys know what series i'm talking about and knows the name please post it here!!
