I also think that Kh3 will be like this. Basically what I think will happen is that Sora and Riku will team up after completing their Mark of Mastery exam to search for Aqua, and then together, along with Mickey, will start to look for Terra and Ven, then after they are found, Sora and Riku will fight Master Xehanort alone, and from their, the game could go anywhere with the ending.
I want the other games the explain more about organization XIII and how the rest of the members became nobodies and stuff. They explained a good half in Birth By Sleep but the half...no one knows about. (I want to learn more about Demyx :3)
If there is going to be a BBS Vol. 2, then I think it will be for the new PlayStation Vita. I don't think KH III is coming anytime soon, but personally, I don't mind.
This annoys me so much. I love kingdom hearts and am dying to play number 3 but all these filler games frustrate me. I shouldn't complain because that means more kh to play but with this and dream drop distance it will be at least 4 to 5 years before number 3 is given a release date.
in the secret endeing for KH Re:Coded Yen Sid said that since Sora defeated Xeanhorts heartless (Ansem) and his Nobody (Xemnis) that Xeanhort will come back. in my oppion freeing Terra.
For KH3 i think some how everyone will come to a final battle against Xeanhort considering that, thats how the KH games seem to be working...
If volume II does become an actual game then this game should center around Mickey making him a playable character. They could start out with his adventures in BBS and go all the way through to KH II. The main plot could be his first departure from the castle to see Ansem the Wise along the way battling heartless. The twist in the story could be Xehanort's and Xigbar betrayal to Ansem and their gathering of all of Ansem's apprentices explaining the events that took place before those men became

@cobra0528 actually Roxas has Ven's heart. Ven's heart went with Sora's body when Sora became a Heartless in KH1. This also explains how Roxas was able to experience real emotion in 358/2.

According to the BBS novels Vanitas had no physical appearance before Ven's and Sora's hearts touched, he just looked like a humanoid Unversed. After Ven's Awakening Vanitas took on Sora's appearance, developing as Sora would. Roxas is obvious, so I don't think I have to explain that.

I think they'll pull some random shit like Aqua has to time travel in BbSv2 because the events of the Mark of Mastery exam in DDD weren't performed by Sora and Riku, and that was data Sora and Riku (hence the KH1 clothing.) And then in KH3 they finally perform the Mark of Mastery and save everyone.
Time traveling doesn't seem to fit with the "style" of the Kingdom Hearts series, but I do like the idea of the Sora & Riku in the 3D trailers being their data versions.
Well, it's possible. And I do like time travel, so if that turns out to be true, it'd be cool. However, Xigbar and Luxord both mess around with time, and as far as I know they don't actually time travel, they just kind of warp it for battle purposes; at this point it's hard for me to see KH going in the time travel direction.
The theories I've been coming up with for BBS2 have made me _so excited_ for it.... Even if I'm totally wrong, there's still so much material they can cover.

Kingdom hearts 3 is gonna be the end of the xehanort saga of the series. Xehanorts heartless and nobody were destroyed so they somehow reunited in the darkness and hes back yet again. And its going to take all of the keyblade masters left to stop him. 3d is about sora and riku becoming masters. Birth by sleep volume two could either be about aqua and mickey in the realm of darkness OR they could twist it to making it about sora saving ven and aqua.
Probbably as far as aqua being the main character mayb she has something related with kirai as maybe she united with her as ven did with sora and zeanork with terra

vanitas is ven's dark form the baldy xehanort removed to make the x blade (pronunced kye/kee-blade) when ventus defeated vanitas and repaired the darkness in side of him. he went into a deep coma. his heart was born into roxas but before that his heart was in sora so when sora lost his heart that was when roxas was born

Vanitas looks like Sora because he was born from a heart that had been merged with Sora's at one point. Nomura said that if Ven had merged with Riku instead, Vanitas would look like Riku.

Ok. I am still skeptical of there being an actual game "Volume Two". I feel that it may be another form of media. Say, manga or light novel. I've recently been reading Japanese to English light novels, so I'd be really satisfied with something like that. But if it does turn out to be real and a game, then I think it's more likely to hint to KH3, or a game after 3D. Or maybe even a hint of what's to come in 3D. I say this with the meaning of "Birth by Sleep" in mind, explained in the game.
Because, though the game is titled "Birth by Sleep", it doesn't directly relate to their Birth by Sleep. Only leads up to it and what it is. Perhaps Volume Two refers to the actual even of their Birth by Sleep. I feel this is much more logical than a game following Aqua in the Realm of Darkness or following Mickey and his path to becoming a Keyblade Master. While both of those could have interesting plot points to tell, neither really agree with the title Birth by Sleep.
It may not even be called Volume Two. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. If they were ever planning on telling a part of the story through another medium, I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't have made 358/2 Days.

Wouldn't surprise me; but I was referring to Volume Two manga. As in, what the secret ending was hinting to would be a manga installment, not an actual game. I was mainly ranting off possibilities. =P
I don't think there's any way they'd put in a trailer like that simply for a book (and anyway, there's tons of KH books out already) - but I personally am trying not to hope for an Advent Children style movie, because that would be too good to be true. :D
yah ventus and roxas DO have the same charecter models...i've got them on my computer. as for Vanitus and Sora...I've got sora's model but not Vantius yet..but it's pretty much just the same though.
I hope they show the Destruction of Radiant Garden. That would be cool. I also think that when KH 3 comes out. They should release a trilogy pack. With a remake of KH and KH 2 for the PS3. With none stop action. Like when KH 2 starts, your status should start were it left off in the end of KH.
heres my theory on the ven vanitas sora roxas thing, ven and vanitas are two parts of the same person, if you combine them together, they look like an older version of sora ( or the sora from kh1) so i think that they are brothers. And ven looks like roxas because his heart went into sora's etc etc.
I'm pretty sure we all know why Roxas looks like Ven. At least, I really hope so or else everyone is going to remain very confused about "WHY DO THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME!!?!??!" That explanation doesn't help explain why Vanitas has Sora's hair.

That was the most confusing sounding 'sense-making' I have ever heard... But again, it made sense... I agree though. I didn't like that they used Sora's face for Vanitus, although I though Sora with Black hair was cool. Roxas kinda makes more sense now since it was Ventus's part of Sora. In KH3 when Ven awakes I wonder if he is going to look cool as a grown adult. I would love to see how the future games are going to turn out.
I've wondered the same thing about Ven. Also, is Aqua going to show signs of aging? Does the realm of darkness suspend aging? We know that Terra's body aged. If you've played KH2 FM, you know that Terra also maintained control of his armor, but you aren't told how or why.

Well okay his armor is twice Sora's height but thats still really tall... I would not be surprised if they made Ven stay the same age so that he and Sora could be friends as soon as he wakes (if he wakes lol). On the other hand, I really think Aqua should age although in the secret ending 10 years had already passed...
It's kind of hard to tell when their hearts connected. I don't mean when they fused. That was at the end. I'm talking about the connection they had at the beginning.
I think you've quite possibly become my favorite person on youtube with that last statement about KH. I love it, and always will love it! One think I would say about if they made a volume 2, it could potentially be about Aqua, but what about an entire game with Mickey going through the trial of learning to use the Keyblade. As of now, there have only been short video clips of Mickey learning, and some of his questing, but if there was an entire game to him from when he first started learning up

Yeah, I read that last week. I'm not sure if I like the sound of that though. It means that it won't relate to the other games as well. Also, I feel a lot of the rumored worlds will come across as odd.
well.. iv'e seen the secret ending of RE:coded and the secret ending to BBS...
(i dont own a PSP or a DS....so i watch walkthroughs of games starting from part 1)
And if anyone... remembers the ending in KH2 where Sora and Riku got the messgae in a bottle from King Mickey..... and add in the secret endings to BBS and RE:coded.. we get KH 3D DREM DROP DISTANCE.. take all the secret endings (including the one we get from 3D...) and more than likley KH 3 will come to end the Xehanort series.....
what if they procrastinate so much to do other games that KH3 ends up being crappy because they put too much time and money into all the other things? The world itself might quite possibly end because of all the crazed KH fans.

Kingdom hearts 3 is gonna be the end of the xehanort saga of the series. Xehanorts heartless and nobody were destroyed so they somehow reunited in the darkness and hes back yet again. And its going to take all of the keyblade masters left to stop him. 3d is about sora and riku becoming masters. Birth by sleep volume two could either be about aqua and mickey in the realm of darkness OR they could twist it to making it about sora saving ven and aqua.

vanitas is ven's dark form the baldy xehanort removed to make the x blade (pronunced kye/kee-blade) when ventus defeated vanitas and repaired the darkness in side of him. he went into a deep coma. his heart was born into roxas but before that his heart was in sora so when sora lost his heart that was when roxas was born

@FinalSwordX What's wrong with the KH games they've been releasing? Yeah, we're all waiting for KH3 but at least we can play some of the other KH games that have been coming out.
Also, if you don't play them, please don't say they're "side-games" because I hate when ppl consider them that -.- If a game fits into the overall storyline, then it's not a "side-game". With the exception of Coded, that game was pretty much just filler.

I'm not sure on the exact link between Vanitas+Sora's old face, but I still think roxas and sora look nothing alike< rocas seems to have a much thinner face (sora's got sum chubby cheeks lolz). I just read KH wiki to find out the links, they kinda explain the whole vanitas-sora thing.....and It couldn't be just aqua I think, shes stuck in *that* place.......Dream Drop Distance doesn't make any sense to me.......Reak the Wiki-IT EXPLAINS ALL!!!!!!

Vanitas looks like Sora because he was born from a heart that had been merged with Sora's at one point. Nomura said that if Ven had merged with Riku instead, Vanitas would look like Riku.

Ok. I am still skeptical of there being an actual game "Volume Two". I feel that it may be another form of media. Say, manga or light novel. I've recently been reading Japanese to English light novels, so I'd be really satisfied with something like that. But if it does turn out to be real and a game, then I think it's more likely to hint to KH3, or a game after 3D. Or maybe even a hint of what's to come in 3D. I say this with the meaning of "Birth by Sleep" in mind, explained in the game.

Because, though the game is titled "Birth by Sleep", it doesn't directly relate to their Birth by Sleep. Only leads up to it and what it is. Perhaps Volume Two refers to the actual even of their Birth by Sleep. I feel this is much more logical than a game following Aqua in the Realm of Darkness or following Mickey and his path to becoming a Keyblade Master. While both of those could have interesting plot points to tell, neither really agree with the title Birth by Sleep.

I hope they show the Destruction of Radiant Garden. That would be cool. I also think that when KH 3 comes out. They should release a trilogy pack. With a remake of KH and KH 2 for the PS3. With none stop action. Like when KH 2 starts, your status should start were it left off in the end of KH.

heres my theory on the ven vanitas sora roxas thing, ven and vanitas are two parts of the same person, if you combine them together, they look like an older version of sora ( or the sora from kh1) so i think that they are brothers. And ven looks like roxas because his heart went into sora's etc etc.

@cobra0528 well what i ment to say is that they are brothers, so they originally looked basically exactly the same, but then mx split him into the good and evil sides, the good one (ven) got soras eyes and a bit more close to his face, the bad one (vanitas) got soras hair. but its not really sora's its the original ven/vanitas's. Sora wasnt born at the time, so he doesnt know about it. but if you combine vanitas and ven it looks almost exactly like sora

That was the most confusing sounding 'sense-making' I have ever heard... But again, it made sense... I agree though. I didn't like that they used Sora's face for Vanitus, although I though Sora with Black hair was cool. Roxas kinda makes more sense now since it was Ventus's part of Sora. In KH3 when Ven awakes I wonder if he is going to look cool as a grown adult. I would love to see how the future games are going to turn out.

I've wondered the same thing about Ven. Also, is Aqua going to show signs of aging? Does the realm of darkness suspend aging? We know that Terra's body aged. If you've played KH2 FM, you know that Terra also maintained control of his armor, but you aren't told how or why.

Well okay his armor is twice Sora's height but thats still really tall... I would not be surprised if they made Ven stay the same age so that he and Sora could be friends as soon as he wakes (if he wakes lol). On the other hand, I really think Aqua should age although in the secret ending 10 years had already passed...

I think you've quite possibly become my favorite person on youtube with that last statement about KH. I love it, and always will love it! One think I would say about if they made a volume 2, it could potentially be about Aqua, but what about an entire game with Mickey going through the trial of learning to use the Keyblade. As of now, there have only been short video clips of Mickey learning, and some of his questing, but if there was an entire game to him from when he first started learning up

About their faces: (My own thoughts.)
Ventus "fused" with Sora very early and Sora got some charasterics (probably spelled wrong) from Ventus as he grew - making him look more like him. Roxas was made from the Ventus part of Soras heart and thus became a very special Nobody.
Nomura have in the other hand said that Vanitas got Soras older face because Ventus fused with Sora... Just... Because...

well.. iv'e seen the secret ending of RE:coded and the secret ending to BBS...
(i dont own a PSP or a DS....so i watch walkthroughs of games starting from part 1)
And if anyone... remembers the ending in KH2 where Sora and Riku got the messgae in a bottle from King Mickey..... and add in the secret endings to BBS and RE:coded.. we get KH 3D DREM DROP DISTANCE.. take all the secret endings (including the one we get from 3D...) and more than likley KH 3 will come to end the Xehanort series.....
