@vutr15 As for your phone analogy, in theory phones aren't creations. You take existing materials (plastic, steel etc.), mix some of them to create the result known as a phone. These materials can be tracked down to basic chemical elements which form everything we know. So no, a phone is not a creation, it's a transformation.

Science does not make assumptions facts, religion does. Religion makes an entire book a fact with no experiments, evidence, NOTHING. Science makes sure something is true before claiming it is true.

For some reason people insist on quoting him and stretching the meaning of each quote to mean something that he isn't saying, like this video is doing. His concept of God is very different than this video suggests.

I think Buddha's point is that holding onto beliefs is what keeps one inside, where an unconscious assault of wavelength can take place. These unseen wavelengths tend to make one believe one is suffering. Stepping outside belief is relative freedom from this suffering. That step takes place only with understanding.
Understandng is seeing things as they are. One sees what is around one. So, simply, to accept all without judgement is the path, if one chooses to play the understanding game.

I never understood why a God who created us and either rewards or punishes us has to pay our consequences? It's analog to a judge going to jail instead of the accused.

I can't take God in a physical form and show you that He exists but love is the ultimate effect because the bible say God is love. These materials can be tracked down to basic chemical elements which form everything we know. So no, a phone is not a creation, it's a transformation.

@MrAnooxy There are only 2 options with Jesus: deny what he has claimed or believe it. I rather believe you know why? Not only he claimed he's from heaven but God confirmed it. Not only he raised the dead but he himself was raised. Not only one person witnessed this but more than 500 people did. If Jesus was not from God, he would have no resurrection and his words would be false. I strongly believe you also have faith, you believe in things that you have not seen before. Am i wrong?

@MrAnooxy The phone analogy, I'm making a point. The reason why a phone has came into being or transformed in your term is because we as human has purpose for it. True? Let's make it extreme. Why were robots and machines created or transformed? Because someone did it. It did not happen by itself. Your existence is the same way. Not only God created you but your parents were involved in that. In order to say you just came into being out of no where is the foolish thing you can say.

@MrAnooxy According to logic, everything and everyone has a beginning and an ending. It gotta start somewhere and I believe it started with God. Does God have a beginning? He IS the beginning. Is there any other thing or person that you know have no beginning? You choose to believe in atoms, elements, cells, life begins randomly rather than a life giver. God can give life because he IS life. Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."

@vutr15 Stop giving me verse from the Bible because they are not fact, but fiction. Science is fact.Logic doesn't dictate there is a beginning because there is no evidence, just theories. For the record, science doesn't explain the real beginning, but only our universe beginning. It's impossible to know what was there before.
So based on logic, you can safely say energy always existed, it only transformed to become what it is today.
How do you know God has no beginning? Please, no Bible here.

Studies shown atheists have more knowledge about religion than believers, because to become an atheist you must be an expert and understand religions as well. I've read both the Bible and Quran and I'll start reading about other religions.
It's my good understanding of religion that leads me to the conclusion that it's a fairytale, however I value the morals and virtues.

@MrAnooxy He is not evil, he is GOOD. I know it sounds crazy but b/c God died for us, he took our sins and put them upon himself, the ultimate act of suffering (have you seen how Jesus die?) Therefore he knows our weakness and what we have to go through. In this darkness world, there are things such as sins and sins always lead to death and eternal damnation. That's why we were created, that's why we exist. I don't say it b/c I know everything but simply speaking God's word and trust in it. It's God who is going to judge not you and me. @MrAnooxy brother, if you say the heart controls the mind then I ask "how come sometimes we do things that we know it's wrong but we still do it anyways?" But if you say the mind controls the heart then I ask "If in your heart, stealing is okay, then doesn't your mind automatically act according to your heart, even though there might be a bit of conscience?" Our mind and heart work together in a unique way so unless your heart really changed, your mind will not behave differently.

@vutr15 Wrong. Everything you said happens in our brain. If you had any science background you'd even know where exactly those thoughts are processed. Like I said, our heart is just for pumping blood, it has no thinking capability and it can't control our bodies, it only serves us to life.
We do thing we know that are wrong by law, but our desire to do those things is bigger and overcomes that. That's how your brain works. Same goes for the other things you mentioned.

@MrAnooxy If you want to treat your heart as a blood pumping tool, and it is nothing more than that, then may it be. What part of the bible has been proving wrong besides science and psychology is pushing everything away from God? Imagine speaking to your kid, "Child, I love you." Do you say it with your heart or just your mind? I don't know a lot of things about science, but I believe our heart & mind are more than what you're describing through science.

@vutr15 I'm simply stating what's the purpose of our heart. The Bible is full of inaccuracies, but to simply put it I'll refer to the verses where it says the earth is circle, flat and has pillars. That has been proven wrong.
When I'll tell my child that I love him, it doesn't matter where it comes from, but scientifically we know it's our brain that handles that. You seem to think that saying it comes from the brain makes it less powerful. It doesn't make any difference.

@5tonyvvvv lol There are other theories you for example that life started with something much simpler and then that evolved into a more complex form.Maybe the aliens started simpler.
The other thing is that even though we still do not have answers for many things that does not make excepting magic wich is basicly god as the couse of everything.
