  • clown moore thinks bush was behind 911,jury nullifcation is what moore would hope for,one or 2 liberals that would find him innocent.nazi soldiers under orders were ones used as examples, they did not make up amything on josenazi were trialed by world court dumbass

  • Anyone who talkover people when they make a valid point should be ignored.

  • the guy on this video is a cunt.

  • And Obama in the next few days is going to release a document justifying assassinations including that of American citizens, which is illegal and unconstitutional. The Democrats should know better.

The US has to come back from what then VP Dick Cheney called the "dark side" of politics. I really fear for the sustainability of the West. We seem to be getting as morally and ethically broke as we are physically.

  • All these years and still not a shred of evidence of Bin Laden's involvement in the attack of 9/11.

No arrests, no charges, no prosecutions, no nothing. Americans are living in a fantasy land.

  • Hasseldouche thinks it's better that the president can just kill anyone he wants.

  • I agree with Michael Moore and TYT is a way, I think it would show our boldness if we brought him to the seen of the crime. But you have the think about the American peoples reaction to this. A riot would break out, so we can say that we're afraid but the reaction of the American people on this one.

  • Elisabeth Hasselbeck is woefully ignorant about the Constitution. It applies to ALL people, and NOT just to American citizens. What a maroon.

  • @sweetcurmudgeon EXACTLY!

  • @000deadcalm000 EVERYONE deserve a trial. Osama, Saddam, McVeigh, Manson, etc.

That's why we have courts, We don't just take people behind a shed and shoot them. We listen to their side of the story, and that's what makes us better than the rest of the world in the judicial system. We don't just act like savages and kill people on the spot.

But that's just my opinion. Do not spam me if you disagree

  • CIA created osama bin laden..

  • There is now evidence at all that Bin Ladin was behind 911, if that was the case he would be on FBI's most wnated list. He was on that list, but that was about the embassy bomb in Nairoby etc etc.

  • Leave it to the dumb blonde...

  • We're American man ahaha

  • Wonder why to this day, Osama Bin Ladens criminal records still don´t have so much as a mention of 911... After 911, there was no evidence to show his involvement in it, and I don´t believe there still is. And he kept denying his guilt as long as he could, but then all of a sudden videos started popping up where he looked suspiciously different each time, and claimed the hit as his achievment.Which he certainly would have done right after the hit, if he would have planned it.

  • @TheHelo10 Not a real argument. Hitler didn't have the Holocaust on his criminal record. Al Capone didn't have bootlegging on his criminal record. You're reaching, and coming up with nothing.

  • I think the sad thing is that the Casey Anthony case she sites is a perfect example of the American ideal 'innocent until proven guilty.' I hate people like this who would rather live in a world where guilt is assumed.

  • "were in NY city" YES the scene of the crime, while it was directed at America it targeted primary new york city. Its fitting that he be tried by the courts in NYC. Its not like he could get off on a technicality. Moore is right the difference between the thugs that we are fighting against and the west is that we hold people accountable and not just execute them. The religious right wants to turn us into the christian Taliban, we are better then that, aren't we?

  • This fat fuck needs to kill himself. Michael Moore is an idiot!

  • Wouldn't it have been nice to see him tried in international court? Wouldn't it have been nice to see all the new facts that would have come out? One of the main purposes to prosecuting criminals is to keep government transparent. When we do not utilize the court, people will speculate and argue more. For example, now we have conspiracy theories about the death in question. Trying criminals is for your benefit; not just theirs. When you take it away, you take away your own rights as well.

  • If Bin Laden had been arrested and put on trial, no doubt would the Taliban take hostages in demand for him to be handed back.

  • @MrEnlighteneddespot Your point being?

  • @monokhem killing Bin Laden potentially saved the lives of many others. The Taliban are a remnant of what they were under him.

  • @MrEnlighteneddespot The Taliban was never under Bin Ladin. If you want to know what the point of something is try following the conversation.

  • Of course there was no trial. Because the whole thing was a fairy tale

  • Just goes to show how far looks can get you in life. If she had buck teeth, wonky eyes and acne, no one would even consider giving air time to her vacuous, reactionary, badly researched horse shit. But she's a blonde cutie, so she gets to sit in that chair spouting crap all day and she gets applauded for it. What a world...

  • @TolpuddleMartyr well said

  • @TolpuddleMartyr And there are so many who can't find a job to save their lives... *sigh*

  • Isn't this the land of the free and the home of the BRAVE ?? since Elizabeth is so afraid then she can't be an american so off with her head

  • Moore is right!

  • noone feels bad for towers being hit to a country that nuked 2 cities, has been raping and killing innocents since vietnam to iraq/afghanistan has demolitioned the code of honor in war since they hid like cowards and faught the british dishonorably without showing themself on the battle field no america disserves much worse than 9/11 that is only the start of what can happen

  • Don't they get it? DEVGRU couldn't capture Osama Bin Laden without putting the SEALS that captured him at extreme risk. The nazis were captured after they surrendered. This is a dumb argument that is taking attention away from real issues.

  • Elisabeth Hasselbeck's view sometimes suck, but my god is she hotttt with more T's than I wanna put

  • our fucking lame ass 9-11 and i am sorry for those that died but for fuck sake its the muslims and afganis and iraqis 9-11 everyday this is not fucking justifiable you loser. millions of lives displaced, mamed, killed in the name of 3000 americans i will not fucking support nor will i have it done in the name of my fucked up country.

  • Osama Bin Laden is not an American, he does not have the right to a fair trial and it wouldnt have mattered if he did have a trial, he would have been executed either way.....a trial would have been delaying the inevitable no matter what message that gives. People need to get off Elisabeth's back, just because she isnt some free loving liberal democrat (which seems to be the majority of people that watch this show) doesnt make her opinions wrong or her a bad person.

  • i would pay big bucks to see Cenk on the view and spar with EH.

  • Dumb ass cunt from hell.....

  • The only thing Elizabeth should be doing is sucking on a banana during each show ...

  • these people are a bunch of idiots! Giving rights to terrorists, wow... you yung turds

  • @mvan367 Did you not listen to anything in the video? Idiot.

  • What makes me think is why they didnt show a picture of bin laden's dead body but they realsed the footage of gadaffi body moments before and after his death, why is his fine and bin ladens not. There ascuse was, well no body wants to see that. But its ok for gadaffis body to be shown, whats the difference?

  • He needed to be judged for his actions,t hat gives justice for the victims, and a little closure for the friends & families of the victims. still living.

  • It's a conspiracy osama bin laden ain't dead an actor was "killed" and the cia whiles away to a top secret facility to get infomation out of him.

  • they need to put elizabeth's mic much much lower.

  • Hasselbeck needs to shut the fuck up and let her guest speak a bit too!

  • nah i don't agree with that. bin ladin did not deserve a trial. it was handled the right way.

  • @jad1079 Pakistan is not a war zone, FYI. It's a sovereign state America went into for the express purpose of killing Osama.

  • In a war zone, the military are allowed to kill people without first putting them on trial. You can't compare it to WWII. With the Nazis, WWII was over and Germany had surrendered. bin Laden hadn't surrendered. From what we know of the situation, bin Laden was going for his gun when he was shot.

  • damn that girl is annoying. just her voice.

  • If I were a Jihadi, and Bin Laden was on trial anywhere in America, wherever that place was, a big fuckin' red X would mark that spot in my Rand McNally, and I'd make it my biz to blow that joint off the fuckin' map, during the 5 o'clock news.

Dumbshit Michael Moore ain't smart enough to see that potential propaganda victory for the bad guys, and would stupidly endanger the residents of whatever community the trial were held in, just to provide himself with an opportunity to spew more blather.

  • Osama was killed because he was a threat to a seal team member and so was shot.

  • @LerdoBurgerPimp nope. president admitted to ordering the hit in press conference.

  • We ??? WE put them on trial ? thats what sets us apart ? ??? umm what ? - anyone ever heard of the nuremberg trials..... TWO words: ALLIED forces. grrr. people wonder why the world gets sick of the america is the centre of the universe stuff - just b'cause they moved the US school maps around!

  • @luckyStrike89ru Who the fuck is talking about liberals or conservatives you moron. That's such a typical douchebag rhetoric about "liberal shows". Stop labeling everything. This isn't about Liberals, it's about this little bitch who constantly defends the "status quo" perspective disregarding the facts and inserting her opinion as fact. You need to take her pussy out of your mouth.

  • @aleonado Why? She's hot.

  • Thank You TYT Network... for saying this....

  • stupid bitch. nuff said

  • Every president after Roland Reagen make bad choices and really suck at being president CAN WE GET ON GOOD PRESIDENT?

  • The Declaration of Independence claims that all men have the same rights. What is the difference between a non-citizen and a citizen? They were born in a different place. Seems like a valid reason to treat people differently and give them different rights... Hmmm?

  • Brainwashed Bitch

  • Fact: The Taliban in Oct 2001 repeately offered to hand over Bin Laden to a neutral country & GW Bush turned it down. Instead Bush began a long war that resulted in the death of tens of thousands of Afghan civilians including many children. Taliban asked for evidence against Bin Laden from the US, which they failed to provide. Bin Laden is NOT on the FBI's wanted list for 9/11 specifically, (they do not have evidence to indict him) This is a fact. Bush caused many more innocent deaths than 9/11.

  • @Rose999123 were did you get that, fact Taliban and Al-Quieda were allies since the Russians invaded in the 80's. I know that the country of Niger caught Bin Laden in the 90's and asked Clinton several times, each time Clinton said no. If they did it was too late why because of all the terrorist attacks in the 90's that Clinton administration ignored.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rose999123 and we all know that Nov 2001 video is fake. u can see that it is

  • @Rose999123 OH. You have got to be FUCKING KIDDING ME!

  • Elisabeth Hasselbeck could have made the argument that it was impractical to bring Osama Bin Laden back to the United States She could have argued that in the absence of proper justice—a “dead or alive” military option was appropriate given the circumstances.

BUT Hasselbeck COMPLETELY fails to appreciate Michael Moore’s valid observation that true justice involves bringing a criminal to court and finding them guilty through a legal process. It is the difference between justice and revenge.

  • I am pretty sure if the US army had the chance they would have treated Hitler the same way they treated Bin Laden.

  • Oh Elisabeth, you are so friggin' hot and so fucking stoopid. How did her pea brain bring up w/Casey Anthony? Walters was lame to hire that good for nothing, rich kid who has the credibility of a strung out pole dancer.

  • the point of Laws and Principles is that you follow them.

If you want exceptions, you change laws, you don't break them.

  • It would have been the trial of the century--bigger than oj. Picture it... it would've been grand.

  • This stupid dumb broad get into porn

  • This just goes to show that they killed him on purpose. I dont think they ever planned to take him alive. if they had, people would either be pissed he got a trial, which I think is really odd. Or upset that in america we sentence someone without trial. I think the best thing for the admin to do was what they did, eventhough it was a bit shady.

  • We couldn't ever prove he did it. Plus, whomever was in that house was not him.

  • Whether or not bil laden deserved a trial is irrelevant. This is who we are, this is the values we have as a people. We are SUPPOSED to be better than them. And THEN let the people of NY string him up.

  • Im sorry but eventually idealism crumbles when confronted with reality.

I feel like im going to puke because Elisabeth Hasselbeck's side makes more sense. You simply cannot take the leader of an extremist organization and parade him through court like he deserves human decency. Didnt anyone read "Patriot Games"? Putting bin laden in court only offers an opportunity for attack. BTW the nazi leaders? many were put to trial YEARS after their power base crumbled; its not feasible.

  • i think not only bin laden deserved a trial, but people deserved him to be in court. i am never happy when someone gets killed, specially by a government. i would've been happy if they captured him and let him speak. as this is what a government that is "civilized" should do

  • americans are a wierd people.

  • Comparing a bin ladin trial to the nuremburg trials is like comparing apples and oranges. Different contexts. the nazis tried at nuremburg werent seen as martyrs because they didnt have an ideological extreme religious following. Trying bin ladin only would have fueled AQs resolve, anybody actually in the fight against AQ and not just reads about it knows this. Instead, since bin ladins death, AQs core faction is permenatly crippled and on the run. Fuck bin ladins "right to trial".

  • BILL CLINTON ADMITS THERE IS A SECRET GOVERNMENT INSIDE THE GOVERNMENT.

  • Imagine the security Bin Laden would of needed if he was trialled.

  • Wait a minute, republicans blame clinton for failing to "get bin laden" in the 90's, but now that Obama has accomplished this national security victory, these far-left armchair quarterbacks are saying he should have recieved a trial? No wonder MSNBC booted this clown, Al Sharpton as a weak replacement is a better alternative to th

  • She's blonde =)

  • I don't think bin laden's death deserve all that commotion. he was an idiot who deserved to get killed. However, i think the U.S (under the Obama administration) should have given the rest of the world the impression that they follow what they preach. but the bastard is dead now!

  • man i feel bad for Matt and Tim.......

  • It's amazing that even though there are American's on this very show, in the comment section and on The View agreeing with Michael Moore, some people still choose to believe that Hasselbeck's view represents Americans. Here in America, different people have different opinions!!!

  • WHAT?! She said "Trials are rights left to our citizens" WTF? This is America. We don't treat other people like dogs just because they're not citizens of our country. WOW retard

  • @tatertotter808 well said

  • @tatertotter808 yes you do, you hold American in too high a regard, it is not a great country anymore. I must admit it was founded on some pretty noble ideals, but those were abandoned a LOOONG time ago, it is just another shithole now.

  • @tatertotter808 Osama Bin Laden is a dog.

  • It's amazing that liberals are called "Anti-American" because we believe in our ideals and convictions.

  • Was Elisabeth Hasselbeck born a Right Wing Pea Brain? or Did she have to work on it?

  • The Rightwing can't even spell Habeas Corpus...

  • I actually agree with Elizabeth... OMG it must be the end of the world...

  • The troops that got bin Laden went there to bring him in alive, if possible. bin Laden resisted and there's no telling if he had weapons or booby traps he could've used. If I've got to choose between the lives of our troops on the battlefield and the lives of a mass murderer, there's no contest---shoot the bad guy.

  • @eatmorenachos I was going to say something here but you already did. The issue with arresting him has nothing to do with fairness and everything to do with practicality and the low likelihood of success mixed with the extremely high consequences of failure. Apart from that, Michael Moore is definitely in the right and Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a joke.

  • @deepshockonYT Elisabeth Hasselbeck has got to be the biggest Doofus on 2 legs,Oh maybe not ,There is also Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Ann Coulter.

  • Ok here's the diffidence between Casey Anthony and Bin Laden, Bsio if we did put in Laden said that he did what he did, he loved what he did, and no lawyer in the world would want to say he's innocent, so they'll try to get him life in prison at least. GOD it's people like her that make me hate that I'm an American

  • Hasselbeck is such an idiot, I dont agree with all of Moore's views but he's right this time.

  • How many innocent children did George Bush kill, and he still walks free.

  • Since America is the greatest imperialist/invader nation the modern world has ever known, responsible for the deaths of millions of people, I think a few thousand deaths is a TINY price to pay. They need to get over that and stop moaning.

  • Just because someone told us that Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 doesn't necessarily mean its true. Thats what a trial would have determined. And probably why it didn't happen. I think its to settle peoples minds as the war comes to a close and make the whole stupid war seem justifiable.

  • Is he forgeting that we invaded the aerial space of another country. Yeah let see if he surrender and give up so we can bring him alive, while we are invading a country with nuclear capabilities. Im sure they will understand and let our troops return and with Bin Laden.

  • He got a trial. He was found guilty, lol

  • That blonde bitch would have been a Hitler supporter if she was born in Germany in that era. Trials? "Absolutely not".

But Moore, while wrong on some details on some claims, unrelated to this story, has it right: we hung the Nazis, hung 'em high & put them on trial.

  • I somehow doubt that a trial for Bin Laden would have been possible in the USA, if they captured him alive. There would have probably been too many assassination attempts or maybe even riots. And too few people willing to protect him.

  • Personally iim not loosing any sleep over what happend to bin laden, but I think Moore makes good points!

  • first of all, Osama bin laden was never wanted for the crimes of 9/11, there is no way he could've been tried for what happened on 9/11

  • My only concern would be the immense cost and circus act the trial would have caused. You can't compare OBL to Nazi War criminals, or even Charlie Manson. Why? Because we have things like Twitter, Facebook, instant access to news. The trial could of lasted a year. And what if, just what IF somebody screwed up and OBL was let go?. Honestly, I find it hard to believe it was OBL we killed a couple months back. Just too convenient.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheWhiskeytom by your logic we must consider twitter, facebook, etc., a reason to never hold trials ever again and usher in the super-nazi police-state for all eternity.

You suffer from Epic Fail. Get that washed off your face before it leaves a permanent stain.

As for the actual death of Bin Laden: that was years ago of kidney failure.

  • @ytgv3fc7 Epic Fail? Can you have a conversation without belittling somebody else? Did I say all trials? No, I didn't. I was simply referring to one of the most hated men since Hitler. When we tried Nazi war criminals we were not worried about terrorists bombing buildings, we had won the war. OBL still had support from many organizations around the world. The cost/risk far outweighed the benefit.

  • @TheWhiskeytom the whole Osama Bin Laden bombing is a hoax. that's why there is no trial: there is no evidence. The whole thing was made up.

  • I think Elizabeth should be fired for being so disrespectful of guests who disagree with her.

  • @binx2629 I absolutely agree Bin! As a philosopher I consider it funny, and maybe you will too, to consider a media hungry catholic and a rich bobble head a place to find any valid form of Reasoning...

  • FYI: Elisabeth Hasselback, when you start to declare who is "worthy" of right, you've missed the point...

  • "Inter arma enim silent leges" - In times of war, the law falls silent. Have we not learned the perils of this maxim? Why do we create laws, when upon entering a vindictive fervor we simply just, set the aside... A criminal, no matter how heinous, should be treated no differently.

  • The Israelis had the decency to give Eichmann his "day in court", and he was a far more evil criminal than Bin Laden..

  • so what if he'd been made a martyr in the trial? why does that matter? the only possible reason that would matter is that she's afraid of more attacks... and succumbing to that fear is the definition of "letting the terrorists win", as it's called.

people who believe in democracy shouldn't be so quick to abandon it when it's being pressured. talking about freedom and democracy is easy during peacetime, it's when it's attacked you need to actually apply its principles the hardest.

  • They don't want to try the terrorist here because they know the terrorist are such criminal masterminds that they can easily manipulate Barney Fife, or whoever is running the local jail where they would be tried, with a simple dosey doe dance and all of sudden Barney Fife is in jail and the terrorist is free, in the same place he attacked before! It worked for the Joker, why wouldn't it work for someone who probably hasn't seen The Dark Knight?

  • that lady is a stupid twat

  • It's funny, his FBI most wanted profile didn't mention his role in the terrorist attack on 911. I wonder why?

  • Someone send this to that dingbat Elizabeth Hasselback

  • What? Elizabeth Hasselbeck missed the point? How could that be?

    Loud mouth idiot American c**t!

  • Damn... I actually agree with Michael Moore...

  • I want some concrete proof and solid evidence that Osama Bin Laden, in fact, did 9/11/01, which there is none.

There isn't a shred of proof and evidence in the world that he did it.

    Remember Building 7?

  • @JMMT7022801 Most Americans doesnt believe in evidence/proofs. dont waste ur time trying to argue with an American; they're just going to call u unpatriotic and/or a terrorist

  • How about we find out if it was even possible to take Osama bin Laden alive. Something which I doubt he would ever let happen. There is no way in hell that Osama would let himself be captured in some raid. He definitely had no intention of being captured and prosecuted.

  • I wonder if color has anything to do with it.

  • I luv Nazis!

  • There was never enough credible evidence to prosecute Bin Laden for 9/11. Although I'm sure they could have got him for something else.

  • @IrIsHBoI97 Amen to that

  • Elisabitch is so dumb!!!She is impulsive, annoying and don't know a fuck about what she's talking about most of the time. She should be fired from that show a long time ago.

  • Ii hate how people like hasselbeck yell and cut people off without allowing their opposition to finish their point.

  • in a related topic, elisabeth hasselbeck is HOT

  • I hate these shows. The audience will clapp at anything, as long as you say America loud and proud. "America is not afraid!" "No we're not but they don't need to have their trial here, this is America, damn it!" I wish I could go onto one of these shows and throw everyone off; "We should just blast their asses back to where they came from! This is our country! This is AMERICA!" The sheep rejoice.

  • I can't believe I'm agreeing with Hasselbeck!

  • elisabeth hasselbeck is too hung up on her emotions and doesnt think clearly like what a real american should think like

  • Michael Moore is right.

  • Moore is 100% right on this.

Osama was not worse than the Nazis. Prosecutions are done for a reason: They remove the status of a martyr from a person because his crimes are laid bare for all to see. It's the smart thing to do and no argument about being offended about a trial will ever change that.

  • Must be because just seeing Osama would encourage more terrorism? Killing him and ignoring it would take power and heart from the terrorists?

  • Elisabeth Hasselbeck is HOT and i'd fuck her any day of the week. Only thing is: I'd have to find a way to keep her from talking. She's such a dumbass i wouldn't even be able to get a boner if she were left to flap her mouth.

Michael Moore's so right and she doesn't get it. No news there. She usually doesn't get it.

  • I completely disagree with Hasselback but I wish Moore would stop championing worthy ideas and causes as he has proven himself to be disingenuous and taints everything he touches.

  • Yeah i feel both ways on this. I hate Osama for what he did and I would have rathered him off the planet but he does deserve to be punished through the court. That would have really made us prove that we are above what we portray.

  • We're American maaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Michael Moore sort of sounded like a hippie there, haha.

  • The rights are applied to all people, not just citizens, as per the constitution.

  • All American bitchin's points about how their thug soldiers were being treated by islamists:

Anulled permanently by this dumb blonde..

Since they are also seeing themselves as waging a war on a kind of terror, or whatever they/you choose to call it (Doesn't really matter), it's okay to exclude people from basic rights as long as that perceived war is going on.

  • Dick Cheney deserves electrocution, be sexually assaulted, savagely beaten on an hourly basis, having his limbs slowly amputated, nails and other sensetive bodyparts exposed to excruciating pain and when he begs on his amputated knees, then get graciously decapitated by a fucking saw.

    .

Because "human rights is garbage", right Americans.

    .

Let's just say, all Americans should be abducted and throwin into a dungeon where the guy from the Saw movies can enhance interrogate them.

  • @underbjorn aaah, the civility of the gently liberal or do you represent some other irrational, hate-filled group?

  • @goinup9 ---

Stop projecting your warmongering, barbaric ideals on me, as I was making a point based on the far-right Americans who said bin Laden didn't deserve basic rights.

The last time I checked, inciting and planning murder (Which was bin Laden's only crime) wasn't punishable with stalinist extrajudicial assassinations.

  • @underbjorn Don't fucking blame me because some of my non-fellow citizens are assholes. I could do the same for you. Just tell me where you are from.

  • @aaronpolitical ---

Indeed you could. That was the exact point I was making.

  • @underbjorn Sorry, I didn't make the connection or sense your sarcasm because this video was not about how all Afghanis/Iraqis should be treated, but just about Osama Bin Laden. I'm with you now.

  • @aaronpolitical ---

Understandable and my fault since I didn't quote the guy I directed this to yesterday, but 500 symbols maximum mate.

  • @underbjorn ---

The Nazis were tried under the principle of legal victor's justice, the Nuremberg trials were kangaroo courts, as were the Tokyo trials, as seen partly on the reasoning of revenge and exclusion of certain elements from trial at all.

    .

But it was still more than bin Laden got. He would most probably have been sent to a military tribunal in Gitmo and sentenced to death under some parallel legal system with a highly questionable trial.

But he didn't even get a show trial.

  • @underbjorn The Nazi's surrendered. Osama shot at the SEALS when they came to get him. If he didn't start a firefight then yes he should have been given a trial. What happened to Al-Awlaki on the other hand was completely wrong. They didn't even try to apprehend him they just dropped a bomb on him.

  • @whothaplaya ---

Do you believe he used his wife as human shield as well, or did you only miss half of the false statements confessed by the Obama government to be false?

  • @underbjorn I dont deserve to be abducted and thrown into a torture dungeon.

  • @TheOnlyAttrition ---

haha I'll leave that to the interpretation of God's words.

  • @underbjorn god doesnt exist. and it is wrong to say something bad should happen to the whole based on the actions of the few.

  • @underbjorn you do realize americans cannot change the fact they were born in america,,???right??

  • @djskizmarkey ---

Same with Afghans blown to pieces, too bad for them to be born in a country chosen by Bush to "support terrorism".
