s this is a pretty ok trick, i dont think its really worth the effort, there are way better sleights and with more coins, no one is going to be impressed by making one little coin disappear, eureka passing and new change over palm techniques are way more effective...So in my opinion this trick is kinda a newb trick. btw subtleteyes, check your 'tude and know your roll.
For anyone who thinks its sticky stuff, Its not. This utility move is impromptu and requires no preparation. Also, if it was sticky-stuff, he wouldnt be able to produce the coin by moving his hand.
I still think it is - maybe double-sided tape on the top of the left hand, just behind the thumb. For two reasons: 1. When the coin is "placed" in the left hand, you can see a movement suggesting it was really pressed onto the tape. 2. The top of the hand is out of shot all the time, so the coin could easily be there. Someone mentioned angles, which makes sense. The producing of the coin is not is the same segment. (ps I'm only talking about the first trick in this video). Totally cool though!
I am telling you now you can perform this without any thing other than a coin. You can perform this naked. You can do this right on the spot without any prep.
ok - so there's a clever way to keep the coin in place, maybe by cocking the wrist or something which creates skin folds. It's obvious where the coin is. Trouble is, this is very angle sensitive, so I guess not much used outside videos?
did you not read my post, where I said "ok - so there's a clever way to keep the coin in place, maybe by cocking the wrist or something which creates skin folds."?
Looks great, and baffling too. I watched it over and over, and I reckon he places the coin on top of his left wrist, which is not quite visible during the trick. Hence the comment about angle sensitivity.
Nice stuff mate! Make sure for laymen, the effect remains "impossible." Don't give them an opportunity to say "i think I know what he did." We're both lucky that the haradra is very clean =) Thanks for the great performance and music!
i bought this trick but i already knew how to do it but i wanted it to be explained by the pros and if anyone reveals this effect u willl be exieled from the magic society
huh? the gone vanish is totally different, first off gone is a vanish, this is a concealment, next the vanishes here are different, I would say bobo's vanish is the closest to at least one of the vanishes.
please tell me how you did that, i'm begging you. post a tutorial or reply my comment. anything !!! i've been trying to figure out how you did that but i have no clue. please help. just at least tell me how to do the first trick.
The secret is.....100% sleight-of-hand. The first time I saw the brass coin and string I was absolutely blown away. This is not easy to learn....

i think i did figure it out!!!he places the coin on his left wrist.he must have glue or something like that on his hand.

Needs a bit of stickiness to stop it falling off - maybe some glue already on his wrist, not too sticky, like a post-it.
Bluemusashimaru 2 years ago
no.
but the beauty of this move is that he can put his arms and hands down and move them quite freely. if its just on his wrist, it would just fall off.
